Questo servizio di visualizzare le note e le varie parti delle voci e strumenti è un servizio che permette di gustare ancor di più la genialità mistica di Johann Sebastian. SEMPLICEMENTE ANGELICO!!!😇
So happy to found the piece I was looking for! I was in Leipzig a few days ago at the Thomaskirche and stumbled upon the orchestra rehearsals for this! So magical!
Rest in Peace Geru, I give this message to you as a peace letter in heaven, and while it’s uncertain in these times, I know you would be in heaven, and this video is one of the proofs given as a sign that you are, in heaven, I don’t know what faith you are, but I can say, whether you have reached Heaven, Elysium, or whatever afterlife you believe in, you will be in it, thanks for the memories Geru, I discovered you while in Thailand, and you were one of my favourite channels, the RUclips algorithm sucks for giving you copyright strike and silencing you from the world, you were the greatest RUclipsr that has lived, unlike Technoblade, your creations take a lot of effort to make, and you should’ve gotten more attention from all, you need and deserve it, I love you as a distant friend, even if we’ve never met before, I hope more content creators were like you, making content with lots of effort, Late Goodbye gerubach, you need this goodbye, Goodbye from Earth, May you Rest In Peace forever, legacy known all around the world, Goodbye now, this letter is taking too long, I hope to see you in heaven, now you may Rest In Peace for eternity, Goodbye.
26:04 My god, I wasn't expecting that Renaissance cadence. Also minute 28:43 reminds me a lot of his BWV 229, maybe he got some inspiration from there.
Sir you certainly must scroll the Christmas Oratorio BWV 248, it has so much depth and judging on the phenomenal job you did with St. Mathews passion this scrolling oratorio will be a definite success.

Wow! An original instrument lover. I love them too but sometimes you'll get an aria with a solo oboe da caccia with 'clicking' keys! Almost like an LP lover tolerating pops and crackles. Eventually we get used to it and simply enjoy the music. Thank you for your positive comment. More uploads to come.
Is there a specific pitch you "tune" your audio to? I sometimes play along the videos but my violin always sounds just slightly out of tune (at 444hz). Thanks!
What a pity this recording is a bit boring - like most o the early Harnoncourt recordings. When I first heard that opening sinfonia at Gardiners Bach Pilgrimage this stunning beauty made me cry. But who am I to judge?
Harnoncourt's cantata recordings are more, I don't know, rustic. It sounds closer to what I imagine it would have sounded like in Bach's own time. I understand Gardiner can be more moving, but to call this boring...
Here is a link that provides Harnoncourt's answer to your question. Go to page 20 under "Notes on the performance": www.bach-cantatas.com/Pic-Rec-BIG/HL-L42-5c[Teldec-2CD].pdf
For those who don't redirect, this cantata was written for Weimar, where the Duke didn't have transverse flutes in his orchestra (thus the recorders). Bach used the cantata again in Leipzig, and rearranged the alto aria for transverse flute. The lower notes in the score are for the flute. the higher ones for the recorder.

Such an underrated cantata, especially the last two movements. Beyond stunning and so fun to sing too 🧡
I never imagined Bach using pizzicato, this is simply beautiful thank you Geru!!
i know I am kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Kyng Gregory Flixportal :)
@Salvatore Colson thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :D Appreciate it !!

See his keyboard concerto in f minor too:)
Thank you for posting this wonderful cantata with score! Absolutely wonderful.
(Russian translation via Google Translate)
Thank you Gerubach, it was most pleasing to my ears.
Thank you Nathan. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Probably my favorite Bach cantata. So deeply intimate.
So many of his early cantatas are so intimate like this. They are among THE best works of Bach, bar none.
So happy to found the piece I was looking for! I was in Leipzig a few days ago at the Thomaskirche and stumbled upon the orchestra rehearsals for this! So magical!
beautiful story :)

Marvelous! Love the original instruments.

The title of that song, "Himmelskönig, sei willkommen", but I like it!
You know it ! :)
La mûsica de los dioses.

Welcher Knabenchor ist es? Also, vielen Dank für die ausgezeichnete Hochladung!
Diese Informationen werden bei 31:25 gefunden. (German translation via Google Translate)
gerubach Ach! Entschuldigung!
Also, Entschuldigung haha Es klang mir seltsam.
3:31
Blocked. Can anyone tell us why?

I dont think this is boring at all! The recordings with the treble boys are the most exciting and emotional for me!
why is used a flute instead of a recorder at the alto aria ''leget euch der heiland unter''?
