+tjenkens well, if you buy on Ebay 36v 20a Lithium-ion battery specially made for Scooter or E-bike it will cost you is much as a new scooter $500+, of course that option im not even considered, i did assembled my own battery pack by using a 18650 cells from HP laptop battery's on the end the it cost me less then $200
I just bought the 800W version for my son and it states that there is a speed limiter in place in order to meet EEC specs. Any idea how to remove it? Thanks in advance
+Jordan Davyes Hi, on my scooter with me, and I’m 250+ pounds, it go 22 mph top speed, and 15 to 20 miles per charge depend on terrain. In your case it will do 24 mph top speed and that is what factory specified for this scooter, and it will go 20 to 25 miles per charge depend on terrain. And that’s with 36v 20 amp Lithium-ion battery, I will not surprise if it will go more then that.

+Jordan Davyes Well, UberScoot it's a good scooter, 1) make sure all bolts that has to be tight, it's tight. 2) adjust brakes properly, and make sure front and rear tires spins free when brakes is not applied. 3) Add lubrication grease to rear shocks and flip them 180 ° like I did (they will last longer). And finally if you can get a Lithium-ion battery and charger, I know it is expensive but trust me it's worth it.
