@@Jump15official legs feel like anchors. Appreciate your videos and beginners rope sizing and arm wrist positioning. That has helped shortening the previous rope length
Thanks for this video. I have been making many of these mistakes and watched many jump rope channels but this is the most in depth on the mistakes and how to fix them! Thanks
Kyle, one of my biggest problems when I start is I have a tendency to double hop between rotations. I switched to a heavier weight rope and it helps but I still have the problem .I find it wears me out.
Tag me Inna video on IG @jump15_official or send in email jumpintoabetterbody@gmail.com If you have time to double hop your rope speed is too low. Try to increase speed only using your wrist to move that rope!👍
Thanks ma dude, starting out and love the sport, it seems real fun for me, but kinda frustrated since I did not know what I was doing wrong, not anymore!
WOAH! That blindfold trick is insane! I just started working out with a jump rope recently and I SUCKED. Which sucks because I used to be awesome when I was a kid :/ But size was super important so thanks for linking the other video :)
Thanks for this Kyle. For me, it's been asymmetries. The rope always tends to loop towards my left side. Since starting with the weighted ropes I'm starting to be able to fix this. Had some bad blisters on my right hand the first two workouts. Don't think I ever would have corrected this without the heavier ropes because there was no feedback from the lighter ones.
Yes! Weighted ropes are so good for helping fix these things. Thanks for sharing. Where you able to identify the problem? Left wrist stiff or not rotating enough? That was one of my problems when I started.
@@Jump15official actually it was just the right hand. I had trouble trying to figure out the wrist rotation for the power handles. I got that down and am now able to concentrate on keeping my arms and hands in the right position. Will still take a few sessions but at least I can see and feel it when I do it the wrong way.
Identifying these types of things will make a huge difference! Just stay conscious of your problem area and after a while you won't have to think about it anymore. Keep your jump as low as possible and maybe add a rest day in in between jump rope days to give extra recovery. If they are getting sore each session find out how long you can go before they start hurting and stop before then. Gradually add more time to sessions over time. How long have you been jumping? You can also add in bodyweight exercises so you reduce the volume of jumping while still getting a good workout. If it persists, get it checked out by a doc.
Dude You should change your video name to Jumprope guru. Your video's are by far the best. Thnx for posting. I'm going to check all your video's. Happy jumping.
I have stamina as I can run 12 miles normally as it is something X factor I am feeling which is in between laziness and suddenly losing rhythm. I think it s about wrist movement too and I am feeling drowsy suddenly
What form mistake do/did you most suffer from and how did you overcome it?
Nothing a can think of. Only when a jump side to side hurt a bit .maybe I am to heavy.very cool videos man keep it coming 👍👍👍👍
I’m definitely keeping my arms too wide and or high

Awesome man! When you start to feel and pay attention to those little things is when you really start making faster progress.🤘
Just need to watch if my hands are moving too far forward. Good stuff.
My left hand drifts outwards.. causes assemetrical loop rotation of rope..
Now I am going to record slow Mo to correct it.. thanks for the advise...

Bummer man. Take care of that back so you can get back to jumping soon! Take care bud!
I just started jumping as one of my workouts a week and I was jumping WAY to high! haha
It happens. Now you know! 👍
A lot of people do. Jumping low takes practice.
This was my school lesson lol.
Right on🤙
I feel drowsiness level is catching up and I lose my rhythm then
May just need to build up your stamina. Eventually fatigue will always cause you to trip at some point.
