    Hello Elena, You just said the two key words, GETTING STARTED, that is the key to anything we do, we have to start.
    If your leather is not too thick, you can start with what ever machine you are working with.

    Hello aprilquilts, Thanks for watching our videos and for your comment, you do not have to wet your leather to give it a crease, you can if you want to give it a shape, one of the things I always tell people, what ever habits you start with is the habits you will end up with, Thanks for noticing.

      Hello badgebunny87, I apologize for just now returning your post, if you google peggysuealso leather, you will find her on Etsy and she have a web-site, she have lots colors around 12"x12" pieces of leather, great for small leather products.

    Which remnant pack do you recommend from TandyLeather to begin making smaller projects for quick resale? Oil Tanned, Premium, Upholstery, Premium Upholstery, Milled Veg, Veg, Latigo, Suede or Deerskin? - For primary and secondary usage. Thank you in advanced for answering.

    • @ArthurPorter
      @ArthurPorter  10 лет назад +1

      Hello LT, If you are looking to make small products, the best place to find leather remnants is a site call Water House Leather, if they are sold out, just google leather remnants and you will find a lot of sites with some GREAT deals, do not get them from Tandy, they are over charging for their remnants.

    Pjwaletailgmail, We are still trying to figure out how to make the patterns available, for right now, if you want to make the single fold wallet, take a ruler and measure out 3" x 8" pattern, fold it in half, make one of the half your front, cut your front to any shape you like, that's the pattern for that wallet, let me know if this help any.
