I would recommend putting a tray under your produce basket. That way it won’t leak onto the cabinet!

The lazy Susan in the corner cabinet is smart. I use my corner cabinet for dishes. I have been thinking about moving them.
You did a wonderful transformation. Looks great. I too don’t have a pantry and my cupboards looks similar to yours. So this was fun watching how someone else utilizes the same cupboards/space. I have an awkward upper corner cabinet that I keep a lot of my big containers in like cake/cupcakes takers, large food containers. Under that cabinet I have my other awkward corner cabinet but it actually rotates like a big lazy susan. This is “my pantry” where I keep all my baked dry ingredients (flour, sugar, etc.) in containers similar to yours, spices, canned goods and other foods. I’m loving how organized I am just like you are too.

Great video showing how to organize in a kitchen with no pantry! I have struggled, rearranged, and struggled so many times! The label maker and lazy susans are next on my list of things to purchas! I thinks those will make it easier to see what I have on hand!

Good job. But I always wonder why I see so many ppl put sugar, flour etc into a container they bought to small. When you buy them it says what they hold. Confused
I agree. I make sure to buy containers that hold at least a full bag. Otherwise you have to store two things. I'm in a small apartment so I don't have room for backups. Also, while lazy susans bring things to the front, they are huge space wasters. It would be better to get a basket/tub that you can pull out off the upper shelves. That way you can use every square inch of the cupboard, and things don't fall off/out. Also vertical spice is awesome for spice storage. You can get more than one tier on a shelf, 4-5 spices deep in a cabinet. So think about one row of spices on a tiered tray, you can only put 3-4 spices. Using a product like vertical spice, you can put 8-10 in the same space; more if you double stack short spices. And, each row pulls out individually so you don't have to dig out a spice in the back! Also, if you bake, you can use a cart to hold your flours, sugars, and other powders. When it's time to bake, wheel it in the kitchen, when your done, put it in a closet out of the way. Ikea has one called nissafors that works well for this.

🤔Have you tried to use a kitchen mat inside your cabinets? that big cabinet, put a kitchen mat under there and any spill that happens will go on the mat and you don't have to worry about your cabinets being destroyed🤗A Plummer believe it or not gave me that advice and it's been helpful.

I have the same label maker too, and I love it! The suggestion of checking your diet of you have brain fog or other mood issues is a really good suggestion.
I’m doing another whole 30 right now and I swear I’m friendlier and more “with it” idk I wish it wasn’t so expensive or time consuming to eat cleaner

Something I think about with storage in the kitchen is the amounts of ingredients I want to have on a consistent basis. All your containers look great, but for example with the brown sugar, you will always have a bag of the leftover amount since they come in larger quantities. It may have been perfect for what you had remaining at the time but might get tricky when you repurchase. Just an issue I ran into as well! Thanks for sharing!
Hey girl, I actually just filled up that container with a new brown sugar pack today and it fit! I bought it for Xmas and then didn’t use it. I tried to think about that too. Those oxo containers worked really well for our house. But yes for the marshmallows for example I have a small amount that didn’t fit so I’m trying to make some more hot cocoa this week. But yea I totally get what you mean and thank you so much for watching and taking time to comment

While you get the lazy Susan, you can have Dollar Tree liners to protect the cabinet. And, please, never have the onions with the potatoes because they rot faster.

White dry erase liquid chalk marker. Mine is from Walmart craft section but I see them on amazon too!

I saw you looking exp. date, I take a sharpie and write on the top of cans and boxes exp dates. Easier to see and and don't have to turn it all over looking for dates.

Sugar,honey, flour,cans and more don't expire if kept dry. Never through out best buy items as thats when its taste good but its not bad.
If yu put a marshmallow in with yur brown sugar it will help it from getting hard

Small kitchen? I have two food cupboards, two small, narrow China cabinets, one cutlery drawer and one appliance cupboard. My baking stuff is in a cupboard in my hallway, and my other small appliances and bigger boxes of cereal and flour etc are in a cupboard in my bedroom. You don't have a small kitchen.
