I hate cleaning my bathroom. Gotta admit that I haven’t cleaned my shower in a year 😅 this video inspired me to clean my bathroom exactly how you showed it, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I would clean it more often now. Thanks for the tips!
When my parents were in their 70’s and had a new house built, an elderly family member told them to have at least one walk in shower on the ground floor as a precaution in case of injury. Sure enough, now in their 80’s, my mom had a hip replacement and getting in and out of their master bath tub shower was impossible for her post surgery. They had put in a walk in shower in what had been originally planned as a powder room off their mud room and it was a life saver for her while she was recovering.

I hope some day that I can own or live in a place that doesn’t have yrs of wear and tear badly kept surfaces from previous occupants, as I have found it can make it harder to clean efficiently and make them look and feel clean. Sadly many surfaces I have had to deal with have been way past their best days and are as old as the 70s and 80s, damaged and worn but landlords often won’t replace with new or better condition second hand leaving it harder for someone like myself who strives to keep things in good repair and looking nice and clean. I have taken on many of your tips and tricks using similar products found in my country and using your cleaning steps which have helped me slightly improve on some surfaces and regular upkeep helps prevent them worsening to some degree, but age of surfaces sometimes eventually gets to a point they can lo longer improve and just deteriorate. I keep the dream alive that one day I can have a fresh new modern surfaces house to work with so i have less extra work to do. Thanks for sharing I love watching your videos and learning from you 💖
I have a separate shower and a separate bathtub in my bathroom. Personally, I love to bath, lie back and relax. In the UK, it has been found that by taking out the bathtub and replacing it with a shower; actually de-values your property. Less so if it is a starter home for couples but for couples with children, giving your child a bath is regarded as a great social time to interact with a very young child while they are getting used to bathing. The bonus to having a bathtub is when bathing children the whole action helps them to relax and at the same time become sleepy. Remember though to: Never leave a child alone in the bathtub.

I am lucky enough to have an apartment with a stand alone shower stall and a separate bathtub. I definitely feel like that is the way to go. It's more to clean when I actually use the tub, but it's nice and open so when I take a bath I don't feel closed in, and I don't have to worry about scrubbing the tub nearly as often. A good general rinse/wipe down does the trick for weeks when the tub has not been in use.

Well I was going to clean the bathroom this AM anyway. Going a little more in-depth than the video. Doors, baseboards, cabinets etc, but will use your method on the rest. TY Update. Finished cleaning. Though I went with a little deeper cleaning tips were excellent. Best tip, Only spray down walls of shower (or tub) first to clean. Being able to step into shower and clean without breaking back to reach walls so I wouldn’t end up with wet feet, or end up standing in water to scrub, it was great. Very useful, one I will continue to do.
I'm all for a stand alone shower, *IF* it's big enough. 🚿 If there's one thing I can't stand, it's tiny, claustrophobic shower boxes. My elbows should not bump into the sides as I wash my hair. 😤 If it's between a shower box or a tub-shower combo, I'll take a combo. 🛁

I like a stand alone shower AND big soaker tub for a master bath, then simple stand alone showers in other bathrooms (guest and kids). With little ones that need assistance in the bathtub - I use the master anyway (only one tub to clean). We rinse our showers down with every use - less heavy cleaning.

In my master bathroom I have a very small shower and a very large Jacuzzi tub. I like them being separate but the tub is difficult to get in and out of so I'm looking to replace it. Your tub seems deeper than a regular tub. Do you like it? What brand/model is it? Thanks
A tub is a necessity. We have a tub/shower combination in the main bath or kids' bath as we named it. We recently remodeled this bath with a deeper soaking tub. No Jacuzzi or whirlpool just a plain old deep soaking tub. Even if you don't have kids, future buyers of your house may need a tub. Our master bath is just a shower. No tub got rid of it.
I read somewhere that rinsing the tiles with cold water doesn't leave hard water spots on your tiles. In that article they talked about rinsing immediately after you took a shower.
Since I haven't used a tub in almost 30 years, I can do without one. We removed the tub in the master bath for a walk in. The guest bathroom was always a walk in and the upstairs bathroom still has its tub.
I prefer a bath with a shower, which I have. Just curious, how do you stop the mat from moving around on your bathroom floor? I know most people won’t agree with me, but I have a special carpet in my bathroom & loo which is especially made for bathrooms, it’s called Flotex & is brill. (I find tiled floors too slippery)

I have a small house with 1 bathroom. It has a tub shower combo. That's what I'm used to so I guess that's what I like
Hi Melissa do you need to clean shower tiles each week?
I prefer a shower, but we have a tub shower combo for an unexpected loving dog 🐶 upstairs, and a stand alone shower downstairs. Great video.
I am an older individual and climbing in and out of tubs is a fall risk...but if I still had toddlers...yeah, a tub is a must
Great video⭐️ Could you please share the name of the cleaner you used for the marble counter?
In my master bathroom I have a very small shower and a very large Jacuzzi tub. I like them being separate but the tub is difficult to get in and out of so I'm looking to replace it. Your tub seems deeper than a regular tub. Do you like it? What brand/model is it? Thanks
What chemicals or products were in the spray bottle that cleaned everything? What's the best to use on a bathroom that gets (rarely to never) cleaned?
Luv your cleaning tips ..would like to know what enzyme products you use. Thank you
Love your videos! What is in your spray bottles?I’m try to switch over to more natural products instead of actually harsh chemicals.
Could you specify the products being used the water bottle and enzyme cleaners you prefer to you please?
I was thinking the same about the enzyme cleaner!
Me too!
Was your tub & tile cleaner store bought or one of your DIY? If DIY, can I get the recipe? :)
Since I haven't used a tub in almost 30 years, I can do without one. We removed the tub in the master bath for a walk in. The guest bathroom was always a walk in and the upstairs bathroom still has its tub.
My guest bathroom is a tub/shower combo. My master bath has a separate shower and garden tub which I love.
Now I have a goal for tomorrow, thanks! Stand alone always, combos are rare in my country.
I’m so glad your shoulder is doing ok
I prefer stand alone shower. Great video. I love using clean freak product for my bathroom.
In your video, you cleaned bathroom fast. Thanks for this motivation.
For some tasks you can even improve your time if you use both hands to wipe or scrubbing 👍
Do you use any cleaner on the floors while you wipe them down?
I like the shower / tub combo because most of the time we shower, but there are times when we need to take an Epsom salt bath need the tub for this.
4 small children and I have just a stand alone shower. I do wish I had a big enough tub to relax in sometimes.
Love your videos but what product do you use in the bottles for cleaning?
