All the rifleman assault rifles come with grenade launchers. The suppressed rifles/SMGs are apart of the specialist class. They handle differently than eachother. Assault rifles can use aim down sights and have far better range and accuracy, specialist guns don't have aim down sight, and you can't shoot accurately, instead relying on firing a cone of bullets at close to medium range on target
In some other games, rate of fire seems only a setting, but in og bc it's so real when you firing a 800 rpm rifle or some has higher, like cqb scar or xm8, and the animation of recoil is so real also, looks like you are really firing a rifle, not a baby's toy. Dammit! You even showed some of the GLs but not the one on the AUG that has the most satisfying sound IMO :( Other than that, thx. Bit of a time capsule this one :)

The M416 in this game is the best gun ever (to me, at least), in looks, performance, and sound (great minds think alike), but I love the sounds of the REX, the AUG, the PKM, the XM8, and the VSS. I actually also made the M416 and the mortar/laser designator sound into iPhone tones. As an aside, apart from removing friendly fire outside of hardcore and adding health regen, Bad Company 2 was a complete downgrade from this game, and nowhere is that more apparent than comparing BC2's sound design to BC1's.

BC1's mirrored M416 reminds me of the Coded Arms assault rifle which is a HK416 with a Galil charging handle

Looks like Gordon Freeman was the one loading all the Mags for these guns because they somehow magically hold 50 rounds inside

The game was not meant to be realistic. Think of it as a fun arcade comedy FPS Battlefield game.
Because it takes very long to kill one person in the game, I saw one gameplay that the guy spray the whole 50 magazine and didnt kill anyone

In my case, I was not very accurate. The 50-round mag helped newer players, i think.
I don't think "limitations of the time" applies when it comes to having only one reload animation.
