Winning a NASCAR title used to be a grueling test of consistency where you couldn't afford to be off-pace _anywhere_ if you wanted to keep a championship lead. Now you could win 5 conveniently timed races and finish dead last in the others and still win the title, or even just get lucky and scrape through every points reset until the finale like the ThorSport #88 did and the RCR #31 ALMOST did.
This system gave Logano 3 titles. I don't blame him at all for defending it. He's still dead wrong.
Joey Daman!
Well Joey, how does it feel to have the worst finishing positions of ANY Na$car champion?
Should be a zero time champion so I'm sure he loves the dumbass playoff system. 15th in points after 26 races and wins the title. Only champion worse than this was Kyle Busch in 2015.
Cry baby cry about the underdog
@johnhaas2523 he's not a underdog in this gimicky playoff system. They run the last race on the same track every year. Penske has won the last 3 titles. I only watched 1 full race all year, just like to see who gets fucked out of the title every year. Looks like Tyler Reddick got hosed this year.
Literally a saying for this "dont hate the player, hate the game"
@@CrashD3884 In the playoff terms of stick and ball sports everyone loves to talk about, they're somehow ignoring the fact that Logano in 2024 was literally like a 6-11 NFL team somehow making the NFL playoffs, football fans would rightly be angry about that!
@firstlast19956 agreed, racing isn't a stick and ball sport is the biggest problem. Tracks are different, football is always on a 100 yard field. Screw NASCAR and France family
Ford bought this championship
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Finishing 1and 2? Yes they bought it, NOT!
Boo
NASCAR Is becoming more and more like pro wrestling. How much did he pay for his championship.
NASCAR is in the sports entertainment business. Joey didn't pay anything
I'd be ashamed to accept that trophy you backed your way into that championship
While he's laughing all the way to the bank! You schmuck
He won 3/10 playoff races. How do you back into that?
Joey logano said that nobody wants to see a guy win the championship with 2 or 3 races left in the season and the playoffs are more better than a regular season points format like a regular season points format is completely boring and NASCAR even agrees with him.
@@JWC924you don't.
@@JWC924you don't.
The best 4 teams arent getting to race it out.
If larson was one of those best 4 drivers? Why didn't he make it to the final 4? Did he choke too much in the round of 12 and 8 too much?
@@JWC924 not pointing to just one driver. I have been a fan since 1993. The playoffs should just be the top 12 that scored the best all year. I like Blaney but it was the same last year. I get people now days need the "show" so the playoffs stay but needs to be points from all year not win and you are in. The last what ? 4 races Logano was a beast but was what 14th or so in the points for the year. (i dont have a fav driver)
HE SUCKS AND IAM GVING ON NASCAR NOT WATCHING NO MORE
