The thing I most appropriate about your vlogs, is the time you put into editing them. I end up wanting them to go on forever!
We all would like to hear from you more than once a week, but understand the time and work that goes into making them. It's much better to have one long quality vlog, than several sort 10-minute vlogs that you can tell no effort was put into them.

I have asked the same question several times. I started watching the Recycled life before the individual vlogs.
My bestie past away last Feb of ovarian cancer. I inherited her vintage vinyl. I found her original first Beatles album and her woodstock album along with other greats. I love that you got your husband the display!
I’m sorry for your loss.
What I always did to learn the differences between the real or fake items is to always hold a real piece next to a fake piece. Stand back and study them. Write down every single thing you can spot different between the two items. If you have to write it a couple of times till you memorize it in your head. But really notice the tiniest differences you can between the two. Does one have more lines, bubbles, look more frosty shaded,, darker , lighter etc. If you do this on the items you seem to have trouble with sooner or later you will automatically be able to tell. Keep all notes in a journal to go over when needed.

I guess everyone has their own favorites, and I have mine. THIS section is it for me, but I love all of the Oregon coast!!!
My sister and I flew into SF and drove to Seattle! The PNW and coastline are the most beautiful parts of the country! Seeing the scenery in Laur's videos makes me yearn to return to the area! Plus who knew of the great thrifting in that neck of the woods! Love!
I have spent alot of Time thrifting in parts of Oregon. Like red white and blue thrift. I want to say Oregon city it's been a number of years so my recall is dim. I have yard sales and thrift stores all my life. But parts of Oregon have the Best yard sales and thrift stores ever! I raised my boys in Oshkosh baby gap all brand names purchased from yard sales and thrift stores. I never really revealed to people saying omg your boys always dressed so nice! My little secret. I can't wait to get back to the pnw to shop and visit family all of whom live in various parts of Oregon. Coos bay was always a great place for family time. Clam digging the best.

Hello from Greece! The souvenir piece could be a machine made one (probably would be too expensive to use handmade ones as a business gift for their customers). There is a big part of handmade traditional woven pieces from many parts of Greece, that are colorful and multi-patterned. Loom works have also started coming back with plenty of younger people practicing the medium.
That Lee Hill abstract expressionist piece is incredible! He was a California painter from the 50’s and his paintings go for $1-3k! Find of the year right there! This has been such a fun series. Thanks for sharing with us💕

Hi Laura. That book rest is actually Islamic Quran rest which we Muslims call 'Rehal' 😊 If you look carefully the upper carvings are of Islamic caligraphy. Just sharing. 🤗
It's used not just for Quran reading... Intact in ancient India (much much before islam and other Semitic religious books came into the world), these kinds of book stands r used by scholares to read Vegas and puranas. Its a common accessory in South Indian households.

The Finnish Festivo candle holders have rings that are closer together than the ones you purchased here.
Agree. Those ones are not Festivo. The real Festivos are easy to identify, the glass on the top is shiny and round while the rings are textured and not round, they are in the form of an eye.
Right in there :), you feel it when you touch them. Rough surface "nobbely" , the ones you picked up are too smooth . And one thing also to look for is the Iittala red dot sticker at the top, many sadly take them off or when they for any reason clean them the sticker comes off. They are "hot" in Finland again so many are looking for them. There was also a blue version made in the 1990 :s. They are ,from 2016 ,making them again with an metal ring added to where the candle is. Here in Finland they are prized at 10 euros a "knot" or eye .
If you had a large bathroom that recipe book stand would be good for rolled towels and wash cloths or even rolls of toilet paper

Welcome to cape Town True how l wish for that kind of thrifts to get my kick i pop in to hospice and second hand have quite a collection of vintage 60s and 70s pottery so put shelving on my deck and outside rain or shine nobody seems to understand my obsession with it but who cares bring my great joy 😂

When I was growing up in the 60's and 70's, our backseat road trip game was punch buggy! Every time you saw a Volkswagen beetle you gave a punch in the arm!!! Back then you saw alot of them on the road!!!❤

Well I’m 63 and old, but I’m a hippy and have grayish white hair cut into a long shag. And dress boho chic, jeans and bohemian!! Just because we are aged , we still are pretty worth a killing, like my kids tell me!! We don’t get older, we just get better with age, like good wine!!! We still rock

This video is giving me warm fuzzies. We traveled to Oregon years ago and stayed in Yachats but we visited a few coastline villages along the way. Florence was one of them. We stopped at that same coffee shop! I wasn't a reseller then, thank goodness! Not sure how I'd get everything back on the plane to Pennsylvania! Really enjoying this series. It's hard to beat the beauty of the Oregon coastline.

I have the golden gate bridge. And have found a sailboot (I think there are serveral different sailboots) second hand twice. One was a good deal but so far away and I dont like to drive.

I have three really long woven rugs made by my brother-in-laws grandmother in Greece they are at least 150 years old I got them right out of a trunk with other linen pieces that had been stored for many years. I treasure them my sister didn’t want them so lucky me.
The opening scenery in this video is where I like to go when I’m on the coast. That light house is one of my favorites. (Haceta Head light). And last summer I got to check off a major item on my bucket list. I got to gallop a horse on the beach a little south of the lighthouse. Thanks for showing us this beautiful place!!!

Hi Laura! Those two glass candle holders are fake Festivos. Real ones do not look like pressed glass and are more irregular in shape. Also they are quite heavy, thick glass. Appearence is more ice looking and feeling if you touch. Nice to hear that Festivos are collected all around the world , not just here in Finland. ❤️
You need a mini van that the seats fold under the floor. I have one and you can get so much in them.
Y’all in the PNW have sooo much Pottery n just plain out Boho things along with MCM. We can’t find that style here in Tn. And the Southwestern jewelry you get n show us in the shops there is simply amazing 😉

Suggestion for your boots ..take a thick or wool sock fill with rice or beans or flax seed . Place in micro wave for less than a minute. Then place in shoe. Let set till cooled .Remove sock then place on your feet with socks while walking around the house. They will form to you better. Love leather.
