- I fear this might be the last video edited with my current and beloved laptop. Unfortunately, my pc is quite old and obviously, it has decided to start crashing during a national lockdown (as if the quarantine wasn't already stressful enough).
Anyway, here we are with a new Betrayed Queens video, with this beautiful piece of music. Seriously I've been obsessed with this song for months, it probably could easily fit with every OTP I ever had (which is terrible considering how sad the lyrics is) and I really hope you can enjoy it as well.

One of the lines of dialogue towards the end of the video, “Happiness is the one thing we Queens can never have”, it’s so heartbreaking because for most of them (not all of them) it was the truth
I'm so glad to see Catherine of Aragon in this video. I feel that both Anne and Catherine were betrayed queens. Even though I still prefer Catherine and I really think she suffer far more from this that Anne
Lianspain but I love how in this video there is the scene of Catherine telling Anne that Henry will get tired of her...MAJOR FORESHADOWING!!! Anne should have listened to Catherine, but even when Anne was Queen she was always threatened and I think somewhat jealous of Catherine.
How is Anne a betrayed queen when she betrayed another woman by stealing Catherines husband and betrayed her own sister who originally caught henry's eye
I think all of Henry’s wives were betrayed. Being and staying with only one person wasn’t really his style.

Henry VII loved and was faithful to Elizabeth of York. He never took on any mistresses and was heartbroken when she died. Which is amazing because they were from opposing sides kf warring factions and their marriage was arranged to unite the Yorks and the Lancaster and end the war of the Roses. They were supposed to be natural enemies but they ended up finding love

Absolutely! But I'm waiting to see if I find some new shows that intrigue me enough to edit them, probably the second season of The Spanish Princess will give me some good material, let's wait and see.

Yay a new video :) It is nice that Betrayes queens are something which is special only in your chanel it is your idea and your original content :) It is amazing as usual, that song Oh my, I have heard it in your Lorenzo and Clarice video and since then I am obsessed 😂 how beautiful Hoziers voice is how deep that whole song is.... Anyway good choose of couples (Oh Maddalena I really don't like you 😂) because I personally didn't dislike Jane Shore she is quite interesting woman and I read a lot good things about her (even though she had a lot of men but her choice). Anyway I see there new Vikings, I have watched Vikings 5 season but season 6 I don't know I feel like I lost any interest about that show. I want to finish it but I am not excited about this show anymore. Oh Medici, one of my most favourite recent show. I am in The middle of season 3 which is pretty satisfying for me. Lorenzo is literally speechles I mean The script, his look and that performance. That episode from Rome was fascinating it was so interesting to see how it actually was when it came too pope election. Clarice, I think I finally find a way to you, I like her in Rome episode very much. Anyway I love that Lucrezia didn't stay bitter to Lorenzo and Clarice and how she tried to help. I hope you are doing well :)

I recommend you to use the song of Tom Odell Another Love for one of your edits. I've heard the song in another edits that fitted perfectly with the scenes... pride and prejudice and the spanish princess were my favorite ones with the song and I really think it could fit with one of your edits... btw great video!😘

It seems to be females enjoy things like this because of the romance and emotional drama. I enjoy them because it portrays the women of a time when wives are actual wives. I"m not talking about the controlling nature of most men in these times periods as I don't agree with it I'm talking about the loyalty even unhappy wives showed their husbands. You don't see that at all nowadays. Marriage means nothing and has become this disposable thing dropped at the first real inconvenience. It really seems to me that the men of the past didn't know how valuable the connections they had were seeing the chaos marriage has become.
When the options are be faithful or get your head chopped off, be scorned and ridiculed by the society, the choice is easy to make.
You are comparing today’s society to theirs. I understand you’re logic, and I do agree I love how they stayed faithful and loyal to their husbands no matter what, however you have to understand that they may have not chose to stay but were forced/obligated to. No one divorced in that age, and if they did they were isolated form society, rejected from their family and friends, and lived poor lives in nunneries (if that) Some of these women would have divorced if possible without the repercussions but that choice was not open for them like it is now.
Despite how they are portrayed today, I do not believe a majority of regular men back then treated their wives poorly either. Of course there was a lot of abuse but I think for the most part the husbands were as dutiful to their roles as the wives were. It's just that wives got discontent with just being wives as if there is something inherently bad with the unique role

In the show it was quite towards the end of the episodes (MADE MY BLOOD BOIL SO BAD) but in history henry truly loved Elizabeth and took her counsel on things. He never once had a mistress as he was very much in love with his beautiful queen. When she died, henry was depressed and wanted to join his wife but his kingdom was always a step away from a traitor ready to take over. But they are probably my second most favorite couple. William the conqueror and his wife matilda of flanders have the BEST LOVE STORY OF ALL TIME (Except one part/folklore/myth)
for me Catherine is one of the best queens in England she was the daughter of two of the greatest monarchs on the planet
Henry never deserved Catherine she was smart and kind, taught Henry to be king, imagine the pain she felt in losing 5 children being blamed for the death of her children being betrayed and having to live with her husband's lovers knowing he had a child away of the wedding
losing her parents when she was still a teenager, being dumped by her husband for a promiscuous and bad character like anne boleyn, being separated from her daughter and yet in the last hours of her life she wrote a letter to Henry saying she forgave him for all the wrong that he did to her and never got an answer, people to this day bring pomegranates to his grave Catherine is the best and anne boleyn will never be able to overcome her never took her place as warrior queen of england i guess if henry doesn't were obsessed with having a son he would not have divorced her
