it's really amazing how you went from your backyard flower farm, making bouquets on the porch, just 2 years ago to the huge full blown operating nursery that you have today. i love watching your journey. you work so hard and it's so evident how much you love your work, your family, your community, and the plants! thank you for bringing us along. next time i am up north, i am taking a road trip to boon street nursery.
Well said 😊
When Auntie Jan arrived, I was so happy. I remember last year, listening to your excitement while being mesmerised my Auntie Jan's tidying up. I could watch her all day!
WOW! Soooooo many plants, Nicole. I’m glad you have someone to help you with all the pot filling and planting. Looking forward to seeing Gabriel’s Greenhouse filled with plants this year. It’s going to be fabulous! Axel has gotten so tall. Before you know it he’ll be wearing a tux and going off to prom. Yikes! 💕🌺
❤
I loved watching the flower farming, but I really love watching nursery videos!!
Came for the flower content, stayed because of you! At this point I feel like we’re just friends FaceTiming 😂
Anyone else get excited when she said it’s going to be a long video?
Thank you for taking us along with you to see these beautiful plants and your business grow!
Yes! I had a conference to go to yesterday, though, (Jennie Love & the ASCFG came for our Co-op ) so I had to finish watching this morning. Lol
❤loved seeing such healthy plugs. Thank you for taking us along. Your aunt is such a lovely lady!
Nicole your glee and excitement at seeing these baby plants is so infectious we the viewers also feel just as excited and happy. This 68 year old grandma lives vicariously through you. Your sweet boy Axel looks handsome and so grown up. So nice to see your aunt help out too.
"That's not the one that I killed, is it?" Never heard anything so relatable in my life 🙃🤪🤠
I love your enthusiasm....that's what makes you so successful in this endeavor ! God bless you and your family as the Spring season is upon you and the nursery....oh how I wish I lived closer 😃
Every single tray looks so healthy. It won’t be long before your nursery is going to be ablaze with color!
I wish I lived close so I could shop your greenhouse. You have so many beautiful plants that I have never seen. Good luck in your second year. Plants will be flying out of your business.
LOVE Aunt Jan! You could see her dedication to you and the plants. Taking such care to keep them organized. So endearing to watch ❤
it’s so much fun to watch you unbox all these beautiful plants! love your enthusiasm, it’s contagious! 🎉🎉
The rain makes it cozy imo
Almost one hour video?? I’m in heaven. Thankyou ❤
I do love seeing your business grow cos youve worked your socks off good luck with up coming season
Better than Christmas ❤
That new camera is gonna be fun!
Loved all the baby flower plants 🌼 💕
Xmas In march. So happy and excited for you. You've come far. May you have a successful spring.
It is so much fun to watch you get so excited about those deliveries.
Aunt Jan and Axl appear in Season 2024! Loved seeing all the baby plugs.
Flowers look so healthy ,,can’t wait to see what you put in the baskets
That’s a lot of plants! I can’t wait to see them all potted up.
I think those sedum (or at least some of them) are perennials and are meant to be grown in the landscape. I have some and they’re like ground covers. You should get some hens & chicks (sempervivum); they are also winter hardy succulents.
Stunning planrS . I’m getting ideas of what i want to plant
. Thank you!
Amazing to see the whole greenhouse fill up!
Anyone else love the rain on the greenhouse?
Ooo...eeeee what a grand time watching you inbox all those baby plants
I really enjoyed that unboxing, so nice and refreshing to see green little baby plants. Spring is on the horizon!
So exciting!! Such a great video...thanks for taking us along❤
Fantastic! So excited to see this today.
I just love seeing how much your family supports each other. I always wished I grew up in an italian family because of how not-close my family is... If every family was like this, there would still be many more "mom & pop" shops/small businesses instead of all the big box stores with zero customer service (because they are jist there for a paycheck, their paycheck doesnt rely on the customers that buy or dont buy)
I would love to buy a nursery one day but knowing Id be on my own, & have to pay for every bit of help, I just feel like I would go bankrupt. But I will be there will my kids grow up, to help them any time they need! 🥰
The unboxing... seriously, how AMAZING does the greenhouse look! I remember the first walk through and it was in so much need of refurbishment and clean-up and now it looks amazing.
⚘Nicole, thank you so much for including us in your unboxing. That was a large order. I can't wait for your next video, doing the planting. I just wish there was a listing linking each variety of plant. I will have to watch it again and write each frame (where you showed a picture) down of the ones I want to get. There are so many beautiful ones. I love your enthusiasm!! I was happy to see aunt Jane come and help you.
At 49:51, it was nice of Axel to come and help with the unboxing. At 49:56, Axel looks so much like Brad
54:50 - Ethan's dead face, when you asked him "you think that's enough?", is precious.
And last, please show us and share the info on the camera you were trying towards the end of the video.⚘
Your son is really starting to look like his dad, wow how he's grown
So fun to see your excitement, and all the baby plants! It is good to see all the love and work that goes into raising, planting, and growing on the plants. Most of my garden life has been in CA, and the last 5 years here in IL. Plants are so much more expensive here, and this shows why.
The "what a doozy" sedun is hardy to 5a! Cool beans!
You will adore the cool wave pansies and will wish you got more! They are a super early seller, and the cutest!!!!! Make sure you put them in hanging baskets!
Axl eating the popcorn made me laugh out loud. 😂😂 No care given. I love it. He's a raccoon digging in the trash. 😂❤
Best of luck to you this spring, you will do amazing! 🎉 🏵️🍀🌸🌈🐦🌻💚 Remember to breathe!! Lol nah, there time later to breathe, right? 🤣🤣
I can't wait to see the beautiful combinations in their hanging pots. You should create some "Nicole Originals". You're so good at creating beautiful bouquets, you should create some original plant combos!
I wish you were located in California.
I am from New York, went to school upstate, Plattsburgh and I moved to San Diego several years ago…
Got into gardening around 2015, I wish I had someone like you around here… crazy about plants.
If you ever come to San Diego, I am totally taking you out.
Today I am moving petunias from trays to cups, my inspiration is my grandmother who provided flowers for the church alter for 35 years stright. My flowers bring back the best memories. I can almost see your grandfather's smile while complimenting and approving each box. Wishing you a wonderful and successful season.
Beautiful, healthy plants and this was fun to watch!
Wow an actual jolly Farmer truck! Cool! Hoping you do 'make your own hanging baskets' again this year...and I want/need that pistachio petunia in it this year, and the autum mystery again!! ❤ hi aunt jan!
My favorite is the pumpkin spice calibrachoa. It would look pretty mixed in with some pink and yellow for a sunset combo. Or with some darker pansies for fall.
Nicole, do any of your suppliers have calibrachoa seeds? I love growing them from seed but can’t find any anymore.
I would love some hanging basket with the lime light helecrysum, the petunia Plum cockato and the pale orchid blush. That would be soo beautiful!
Do not confuse Jolly Farmer with Jolly Rancher.... though both are sweet.
Is your sweet Aunt Jan your mom’s or your dad’s sister?
I wondered that too.
Your greenhouse must smell AMAZING with all of those petunias!!
How do you know when you’ve hired the right guy for the job? 54:50 If he says “No” when asked if he thinks that’s enough plants.😂
i just love your videos! you have such a bright and cheery personality. It puts me in a better mood instantly. of course all the flowers help with that too! Thank you for sharing!
I wish I lived near you.... my garden centers do not even start to compare to your nursery... I have 2 big box stores and 1 other local nursery that you have to take a loan out to afford their plants... ☹
This is so cool. I absolutely love watching your unboxing. You have such an amazing way of capturing your life.
This is so exciting! I, too, love all of the coleuses. I'm growing coral candy and others from seed!!
This is my favourite video ever, just sat here watching it whilst planting my seeds, so happy ! ❤
I work in a garden centre, are plants will be in soon watching your video is getting me all excited to get started, I lived in northern Ontario Canada, so we are behind by a few weeks but its coming .thanks for the video 😊😊
Nicole as always i love watching your videos.. Please tell us what the cat tails proper name is..thank you
I am a little concerned that your new seedlings are having their very soft new roots crushed when you push them across your gridded benches. Also thinking the new plants might need drip trays to stop the tender roots from drying out having come from the grower.
I can't wait to see you in the spring. I want those echinaceas. And the double impatiens. And the ....I could go on and on
I literally gasped at the blueberry fuchsia. How do I get my hands on those.
Absolutely fantastic video and so enthusiastic that it’s passing to all of us. Thanks for making us happy again.
Im so glad summers coming cz it also means its about to get cold here n imma really enjoy th flowers😍
Can u add the euphorbia with pentas and coleus in a patio pot? Sure would look sweet poolside! Any white penta or shiso any color? Oooh, add that purple grass!
Okay, kiddies. Today's word of the day is "GIDDY"!
You are a very hard worker. I wish you continued success in your wonderful endeavor!
Those plants are so beautiful and lush!! Do they get them that thick by pinching? They are gorgeous!!!
Most of these benefit from pinching. The large scale plug growers use products like Florel that encourage branching
I love seeing the greenhouse with all the green!💚 Can't wait till all the colors start to show!
How do you stop the squirrels from eating your raspberries ?
If they are blooming now will they bloom when your clients get them?
Amazing unboxing. Omg the coleus are stunning 😍
I can't wait for the next one! Congrats on your 2nd year at the nursery..
Off to a fantastic start to a wonderful flower season!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
We are having second winter here so this made my day! Babies!
Aunt Jane seems to have your same passion. Cannot ask for more.
❤
مسيرة موفقة🎍🎍🎍🎍💔💔💔💔💔💔🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️☕️☕️☕️🥐🥐⚘️
😍🌱💐🪴🌿 wonderful selection of plants! 👏🥳
Stained glass, wooooooh they are gorge....
Loving Aunt Jan’s shorter hair!
So that's where all the pro-mix went!
I swear I heard Winnie the pooh in this video. ❤
SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! I had to wait all day before I could watch....I wonder if the box packers are watching you unbox! 😁 Annnnnd I'm going to need some of that fuchsia!!! It's STUNNING! Editing to add ALL of the fuchsia!
So nice to see all the amazing healthy plants
Are the canna hard to grow?
Oh mercy! Such wonderful plants! I love how excited you were over each new tray of plants you unboxed. All those colors were gorgeous! The amore heart and soul petunias are one of my favorites. I grew it last year in an aquapot. It was an amazing, vigorous grower. I fed my petunas about twice a month and they did great! They even dropped seed, and I had dozens of baby petunias. I'm not such if the bloom color is true because I saw a bloom that was mostly red. I would recommend that petunia. There was very little deadheading either. I'm in zone 8b, southeastern NC. Can't t wait to see how you pot things up. Too bad you are so far away; I'd love to shop in your nursery.
I'm so excited! Plum cockatoo petunia is gorgeous! Thanks for showing us.
Hello! Not sure when we went from calling Alyssum to Lobularia 🤷♀️. Maybe if you called it Alyssum it wont get confused with Lobelia. 🤔 Just thinking... Everything is looking SO good and now the fun begins, getting to make ALL those beautiful baskets and pots!! Happy gardening!!
Oh man that was fun! Like Christmas in Spring! Here in Denver, Colorado- I see a lot of people spend hundreds of dollars at Nurseries and plant them out way too early! Then it snows and they lose them and are too disgusted to buy any more. "Wait for it." Do not sacrifice to the Snow Gods. Know your last frost date! And be prepared to cover them any time after planting them out. Weather is going to happen! So have a plan! Grow smart! Peace!
Love your growth from the flower farm to the nursery. When you're unboxing, may I suggest that you put your trays of plugs in approximate alphabetical order -- then you approximately know where each is when you go to plant up. I'm so excited to see your plugs because MINE are coming in a couple of weeks! Only 180 plugs total for me, but I'm not a nursery. Still, it's so exciting! I'm sure the "baby burritos" gave you hunger pains!
Loved watching your excitement when you see what’s there. I started some yarrow, coleus, lobelia and dusty miller today. Ontario 6B. It’s so tempting to plant more but my shelves inside are full. I have 6 varieties of Lisianthus that are still very tiny. I potted up lupine and Delphinium too. I have an unheated greenhouse that I add a heater to mid March so I can move seedlings outside. The warm weather will be here before we know it. I didn’t see any Dusty Miller in those boxes. Do you grow it?
Hi Aunt Jan & Axle!
best video ever!!!!
Strawberry's at the end was a relief, because so many time it looked like you were pulling out strawberry's 🍓🍓🍓
So many beautiful plants! I love to watch but it also makes me sadly aware that I can no longer garden myself because of my advancing MS. But at least I can still enjoy it through your videos!
Can’t believe how much work you’re doing all this week AND creating a video. Hope you’re getting at least a few hours of sleep!
Hi Nicole what an amazing collection of beautiful flowers and plants! I can’t wait for an opening day please let us know so we can make to be there! The baskets are going to be gorgeous! So happy for you 💖😁
I’m amazed at how many plants can fit in a single box!! And I’m sure I’m pretty alone on this one - but I think coleus looks so garish. I can appreciate it as a cool looking plant but don’t ever want it in my garden.
Half the time we get our packs of flowers we don't know what they are called. I recognized a lot in your flowers.
So exciting!
👍😎❤️awesome!
Oh yay, it's unboxing day!!!! Love it ALL, especially the coleus :D
