it's really amazing how you went from your backyard flower farm, making bouquets on the porch, just 2 years ago to the huge full blown operating nursery that you have today. i love watching your journey. you work so hard and it's so evident how much you love your work, your family, your community, and the plants! thank you for bringing us along. next time i am up north, i am taking a road trip to boon street nursery.

WOW! Soooooo many plants, Nicole. I’m glad you have someone to help you with all the pot filling and planting. Looking forward to seeing Gabriel’s Greenhouse filled with plants this year. It’s going to be fabulous! Axel has gotten so tall. Before you know it he’ll be wearing a tux and going off to prom. Yikes! 💕🌺

I think those sedum (or at least some of them) are perennials and are meant to be grown in the landscape. I have some and they’re like ground covers. You should get some hens & chicks (sempervivum); they are also winter hardy succulents.

I just love seeing how much your family supports each other. I always wished I grew up in an italian family because of how not-close my family is... If every family was like this, there would still be many more "mom & pop" shops/small businesses instead of all the big box stores with zero customer service (because they are jist there for a paycheck, their paycheck doesnt rely on the customers that buy or dont buy)
I would love to buy a nursery one day but knowing Id be on my own, & have to pay for every bit of help, I just feel like I would go bankrupt. But I will be there will my kids grow up, to help them any time they need! 🥰

⚘Nicole, thank you so much for including us in your unboxing. That was a large order. I can't wait for your next video, doing the planting. I just wish there was a listing linking each variety of plant. I will have to watch it again and write each frame (where you showed a picture) down of the ones I want to get. There are so many beautiful ones. I love your enthusiasm!! I was happy to see aunt Jane come and help you.
At 49:51, it was nice of Axel to come and help with the unboxing. At 49:56, Axel looks so much like Brad
54:50 - Ethan's dead face, when you asked him "you think that's enough?", is precious.
And last, please show us and share the info on the camera you were trying towards the end of the video.⚘

So fun to see your excitement, and all the baby plants! It is good to see all the love and work that goes into raising, planting, and growing on the plants. Most of my garden life has been in CA, and the last 5 years here in IL. Plants are so much more expensive here, and this shows why.

You will adore the cool wave pansies and will wish you got more! They are a super early seller, and the cutest!!!!! Make sure you put them in hanging baskets!
Axl eating the popcorn made me laugh out loud. 😂😂 No care given. I love it. He's a raccoon digging in the trash. 😂❤

Oh mercy! Such wonderful plants! I love how excited you were over each new tray of plants you unboxed. All those colors were gorgeous! The amore heart and soul petunias are one of my favorites. I grew it last year in an aquapot. It was an amazing, vigorous grower. I fed my petunas about twice a month and they did great! They even dropped seed, and I had dozens of baby petunias. I'm not such if the bloom color is true because I saw a bloom that was mostly red. I would recommend that petunia. There was very little deadheading either. I'm in zone 8b, southeastern NC. Can't t wait to see how you pot things up. Too bad you are so far away; I'd love to shop in your nursery.

Oh man that was fun! Like Christmas in Spring! Here in Denver, Colorado- I see a lot of people spend hundreds of dollars at Nurseries and plant them out way too early! Then it snows and they lose them and are too disgusted to buy any more. "Wait for it." Do not sacrifice to the Snow Gods. Know your last frost date! And be prepared to cover them any time after planting them out. Weather is going to happen! So have a plan! Grow smart! Peace!

  • @Thingys-Jill

Love your growth from the flower farm to the nursery. When you're unboxing, may I suggest that you put your trays of plugs in approximate alphabetical order -- then you approximately know where each is when you go to plant up. I'm so excited to see your plugs because MINE are coming in a couple of weeks! Only 180 plugs total for me, but I'm not a nursery. Still, it's so exciting! I'm sure the "baby burritos" gave you hunger pains!

Loved watching your excitement when you see what’s there. I started some yarrow, coleus, lobelia and dusty miller today. Ontario 6B. It’s so tempting to plant more but my shelves inside are full. I have 6 varieties of Lisianthus that are still very tiny. I potted up lupine and Delphinium too. I have an unheated greenhouse that I add a heater to mid March so I can move seedlings outside. The warm weather will be here before we know it. I didn’t see any Dusty Miller in those boxes. Do you grow it?
