  • How To Upgrade Your Smart Car 453 With Digital Radio (DAB). Suitable for the ForTwo & ForFour with TomTom USB Media System Input. Offers Factory Controls!
If you own a Smart 453 then check out our Smart 453 Specific Facebook Page & Forum:

If you currently own a Smart 453 and only have the FM Radio then this is the upgrade for you! With the Dension DAB+U connected via the Smart 453 USB Input you can give yourself a great Digital Radio system that looks and feels like it was there from factory due to utilising all the factory controls!
In this video we briefly explain how we installed the system to give you an idea on the installation (Albeit this is not one of our normal How To Guides as it's a little more involved).
Big thanks to Dension for supplying us with a demo unit to facilitate this installation and to prove the theory works!

Great video! Any idea if a mod is available to make the steering wheel volume buttons skip track instead of adjusting the volume?

Firstly, Nothing got deleted, your comment was flagged as Spam by RUclips and was automatically removed due to breach of standards (Whatever you posted goes against their guidelines). We have 450+ videos and hundreds of comments coming in, we don’t have time to do things like this.
Your second comment had different content so is still there (Even though we have no requirement to Not Delete if we choose to)
Secondly, we’ve fitted lots of these with no problems. I expect your issue is more down to its installation and setup rather than it “Not compatible”.
The video proves it works and it worked very well in my car for three years (It was my car in the video).
Please don’t put up things that are factually incorrect.
