- This design is very basic and perfect for beginners. There's only a little weaving involved, and the design is easy to customize.

16 gauge round, dead soft copper wire, 1 piece 12 inches long; 2 pieces, 2.5 inches long
26 gauge round, dead soft wire, 1 piece around 8 inches; 1 piece around 30 inches

Yeah the timelapse is great for keeping my video length in a range that's conducive to RUclips's algorithms, but it clearly can make it difficult to follow the more intricate details. When I found the freeze frame button, it solved a lot of problems lol.

Oh, that is SO cool! I especially like the idea of using mother-of-pearl as a dangle, since many guitars have mother-of-pearl fittings and decorations. My oldest son would love one of these, as he's an electric guitar kinda guy. Thank you!

Random question but how do you go about getting nicks out of the wire from the pliers?
@@krislynnretz7127 You can buff them out using very fine steel wool. I've even seen people use the padded nail files you can get in Walmart or beauty supply houses.

This is one of the coolest crafts I've seen! I seen one with guitar pic in place where the gem is, here. I can try to make one. If it isn't too terrible on arthritis.There's a lot of work put into this. I've seen some for 30.00. Yikes.
I just had a little truble with the wire, it was difficuld to buy in the store, so we endet up using a cable with a copper wire and it was so hard but still worked well
Have you considered having a link to a PDF of a line drawing of a few guitar shapes- that we could use to lay our wire on as a guide? That would be amazing💝🎉💝

Thank you for the lesson. Being a beginner, I would have liked to know finished size of your guitar, or better yet, how large of a circle do you start your guitar using just 12" of wire. I did not have enough wire at top to complete a good guitar. Just a beginner.

Omg. I give up. This is hard. Been wire wrapping four years. Each time I tried, I mangled the wire trying to form a guitar shape. LMAO. Looks like a car ran over it multiple times. Hahaha 🤣 I’m going to take a picture and tag you in Instagram so you can laugh as hard as I am.

You can use wire that's not dead soft but it will be harder to work with. Just be prepared to use extra hand strength!
