Looks promising. I do wish it had a lever action clamp instead of the star knob bolt. But that’s not a huge deal breaker. Also, you have good taste in hand tools!
I don't understand why so much of the fence goes to the left when it becomes wasted fence. Why don't they make it where you can extend the table to the right? Kreg knows those bolts won't fit because I've seen too many people complain about them. For them to sand them down would cost them money, so they make the buyer do it to waste their own time and money.
I got my fence installed, and run into the same problem with the grade stamp on the bolts. Kreg needs to address this. Your video helped with the install, thanks again. Jake
New subscriber here. Love how detailed your videos are. Also like how you didn’t delete the factory error. That helps just in case a buyer has the same issue. Can’t wait for your next video.
I like this setup and through. It was very informative. I need to pick up one of these fences for myself. My old Craftsman band saw’s fence is in bad shape.
you mentioned a piece at the end you would pick up in the near future. What was what you said? I liked your video and just now starting so will be watching you. :-)
I have a Porter Cable bandsaw and currently no fence. It looked like you took off the grizzly fence. I’ve been considering the grizzly fence and Kreg. Can you give any input on why you replaced the grizzly and went with the Kreg?
First let me say there's nothing wrong with the Grizzly fence. I have used Kreg products in the past & I'm just a fan. That's the reason for the fence change. Thanks for watching the video!
@@VinceEspositoJr The original fence performed fine. I wanted to switch to a fence that gives me more options such as the micro adjuster & resaw attachment.
I'm thinking about doing this on my Jet 14" ... never have liked the stock fence that came with it! I was a bit surprised that the bolts didn't fit ... Kreg's quality was always top drawer when they were manufacturing in the USA.
A no nonsense, straight to the point demonstration. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks! So far so good!!

Awesome, dude! Pretty interesting piece of equipment! 😊
Happy new year! And stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Happy new year!
Have you added a resaw fence to this Kreg fence. Wondering if you are able to add a wood tall fence to resaw?
I haven't added a resaw fence yet. It is something I plan on doing in the near future.
Would have been nice to see a board cut
You're right on that point. Always forgetting something. Lol.
So two years in, are you still happy with the Kreg fence retrofit?
I have no complaints thus far. Still loving it.
Great video! Are you still happy with the fence? Thanks, Jake
Hey Jake....Thanks a bunch. I have no complaints with the fences performance to date.
Thanks for the reply. That's good to hear. I will place my order tomorrow. Thanks again. Jake

@@jakeh409 Glad it all worked out. Enjoy the new fence.
@@jakeh409 Kreg knows the problem but would rather put the trouble on your shoulders to save them a few cents.
To get rid of the whistle of you bandsaw when you turn it on you have to tighten down the belt, just did that on mine!
Thanks for the tip!!

What was wrong with the grizzly fence?
There's nothing wrong with the grizzly fence. The Kreg fence allows for a micro adjuster which is probably the main reason for the switch.

@@Woodcraftedworkshop Everyone says the micro adjuster isn't needed. At least that's what I've read on forums.

I believe it was the resaw attachment. Thanks for watching.

@@Woodcraftedworkshop Would have been great to mention that in the video. I was wondering the same thing myself.
I bought me one works great 👍
Enjoy it
Looks like you have had this for about a year. How has your experience been with this fence?
I have been using it for about a year with no complaints so far.
@@Woodcraftedworkshop I ordered it. How does it perform better than the original? I've had no real issues with the original but it is short.

@@Woodcraftedworkshop Thank you.
Good Job 👍
Thank you much!

Hey Gerald! Small issue that was easily fixed. Overall it's a very nice fence.
