I love'em all (Well, Peco a little less, but still an alright guy), but Momo has to be my favorite. Just a simple mechanic and engineer trying to make heads and tails of something way over her head.
Rhyme Oddysey I agree and me too!! The beginning was a little grindy, but I somehow enjoyed it anyways- once I got past that though the game was nothing but good times :D. I'm always happy to find another BoFIII fan!
@@OmegaFoxOnFire yess. I had it stolen when I got to the desert with the Oasis. I downloaded it on the computer on emulator I got to the Oasis in life took hold of me and I had to move and store my computer. Long story short my bucket list is to complete the game
There's something about that funky, jazzy, muzak sound that Capcom used so much in the late 90's. It meshed so well with this game, and it's tone. Good cover.
Thank you for the compliment! I agree-- I really enjoy that late 90's Capcom vibe. That muzak sound is one of my favorites. It's actually quite challenging to pull off that sound (for me anyways!) but I'd love to try to do more covers in that style.
+gaston wolfgas Thanks for the kind comment Gaston! To be honest, I'm still a beginner at piano myself. One of my goals for the year is to get better at it! Best of luck with your piano practice :)
GamerBoyGU82 I've thought about 'These Little Things', 'Take it and Run', and most of all 'Casually'... although the latter is going to be difficult to pull off. Hopefully my chops will be up to the task someday.
I've thought about that! The original is obviously reminiscent of some of those old MiniMoog bass sounds, but I could certainly try to play it on bass-- I might be tempted to run the bass through some effects to help get that synth tone... maybe in parallel in order to preserve the natural bass sound though. To be honest with you, the bass & keys would take me a lot of practice! It's definitely in a style that I strive to be able to do though!!
This game is close to my heart and it is clear that you worked really hard on this, so thank you. It's very well done. My favorite character from the game is Momo!
I just started playing this again and this song came on and I was doused in nostalgia, came to listen to the music and found this video. Thanks for making this amazing composition.
johncuda Thanks for taking the time to watch :). Ever since I covered this song I've wanted to go back and play this game! Someday I'll find the time ;). Have fun and enjoy playing it again- there's so much good music ♫
Amazing. Best cover of this track I've ever seen/heard. The waves of nostalgia and joy and the terrible beauty of the past no longer being the present wash over me. The creator within is singing for the good you've weaved. My deepest, utmost appreciation for your work and those who inspired this moment.
+Truc Le Thanks for watching so many times :). You really hold BoFIII to a high regard! I tend to agree though- there's something really charming about the game. It felt really solid, too. One thing that I really respected the game for is that it had 3D backgrounds- I thought that was something that it had over FFVII/VIII at the time. Of course those pre-rendered backgrounds are really beautiful, but being able to move the camera around (in a game like this at the time) was just so cool!
I've never even heard of this game but this cover is awesome. Koto out of nowhere! And I love the harmony between the melodica and the synth at 1:43. Excellent job!
Voodoo Pup Thank you! I'm such a fan of the koto-- it's a great instrument for soloing as well as comping. The harmony part was one of the few things I added to the arrangement- I liked the idea of it joining with the lead so that it eventually turns into a three part harmony.
+Genkaku Thank you! BOFIII is definitely one of the best RPGs :). Cedar Woods is one of many great songs from the game. I'm glad you liked my cover of it!
+Starlightbeauty1225 Thank you! That's quite the compliment :). BTW I would love it if they remade or remastered BoF III (and then eventually started making BoF's like they used to again!)
Sazabi MSN-04 Thanks!! I was really trying to capture the original, but with live instruments. Of course the guitar vs synth solo was a little gratuitous ;)
Damn, I forgot how much this theme makes me feel good and relaxed haha. Thank you for posting this ! Interesting cover by the way * * Let's make a feat' someday ! :D
DeMarcus Bolds As always, yes! (and thank you for always checking) I'm looking forward to your next episode :). BTW, I'm in the process of working on Phantom Forest-- I'm waiting for an instrument to be repaired. Hopefully it will make an appearance!
Betsy7Cat Yea... it's sad to see that happen to some older games that were great. I guess BoFIII only ever came out on PS1 and PSP. Maybe someday it will get put on PSN or something like that.
+Rafael Plastina Thanks for watching! I agree that this song is reminiscent of Chrono Trigger's "Secret of the Forest". The opening arpeggio is what stands out the most and to be honest, the similarities are relatively minor beyond that. Regardless, I really love both of the songs!
+Steven Morris really enjoyed this piece man i love how you made it slightly different too with the guitar. im still stuck in the dessert in this game i cant figure out how to get through lol but i love the game so much
r3dbandit IIRC that desert area was very difficult. I remember being so scared to even enter it when I played it way back when... It was a very creative "maze"
+Steven Morris i still cant get passed it because in the game they tell you two different ways how to do it and ive spent well over 15hrs tryong to figure it out lol
Who is your favorite Breath of Fire III character? I always liked Rei!
Steven Morris Rei is so great, but i love teepo, the perfect team in the begining 😎
Ryu fan, usual opinion, but his chara-design is so solid :o !
I love'em all (Well, Peco a little less, but still an alright guy), but Momo has to be my favorite. Just a simple mechanic and engineer trying to make heads and tails of something way over her head.
Rei and Garr. But Peco is amazing as a character because of how strong he gets. Just love Rei and Garr's design. I'm more into the badass look.
Rei, Teepo, and Ryu were my favorite little family. :(
Well don't that just beat all.
This game's left a lasting impression. Nice work.
A few notes in and insta subscibed
Back when Capcom still had love for the Breath of Fire series....
D180223 I think III was the peak. IV was good, but it didn't feel quite as solid. It certainly had some amazing music though!
+Steven Morris 3 was definitely the best, such a long fuckin game too holy shit. used to play it religiously
Rhyme Oddysey I agree and me too!! The beginning was a little grindy, but I somehow enjoyed it anyways- once I got past that though the game was nothing but good times :D. I'm always happy to find another BoFIII fan!
@@Qonvex I completely agree. The story line is just so good. Every segment of the game deals with character evolution and expansion of the story.
@@OmegaFoxOnFire yess. I had it stolen when I got to the desert with the Oasis. I downloaded it on the computer on emulator I got to the Oasis in life took hold of me and I had to move and store my computer. Long story short my bucket list is to complete the game

total nostalgia.... wanna cry right now, iam piano beginner and hear this past songs in such excellent cover is awesome!!! thanks for this, really.

You add such an amazing twist to a forgotten legend's soundtrack.
Thank you for the kind words! And nice channel! Looks like you are making games? That's awesome :)
You're so right to hold to Breath of Fire III, its soundtrack is so underrated, and your work is amazing, as always !
Thanks for watching! Hopefully I'll get around to doing more Breath of Fire
If you considered doing another from the game, did you have another tune in mind?
GamerBoyGU82 I've thought about 'These Little Things', 'Take it and Run', and most of all 'Casually'... although the latter is going to be difficult to pull off. Hopefully my chops will be up to the task someday.
Oh man, it'd be awesome to hear "Casually" with a live bass
I've thought about that! man you came in so clean on that electric guitar, center of video.
Thanks for watching! I was really happy with how that solo turned out. I just released a new BoFIII cover if you are interested :)
straight windex
Omg thank you! I'mma listen to all your BoF3 covers!
Such a chill song...

This has a nice, relaxed vibe to it. Never heard this song before, but it's lovely.
GameLark Remixes Thank you Allen! I think BoFIII is full of great songs. It's definitely worth checking out.
MARVELOUS!
***** Thank you :D!
I love this game. Your version brought back so many memories. Nice job!
Ian Chandler I'm glad to hear that! Thank you :)
Awesome cover.

This is so awesome I keep going back to watch this. BoF III is one of my all time favorite rpg. It's right up there with ff VII.

that was amazing! nothin beats a real musician!
groovy, melodic and pure chill!
VolcaRock Thank you Volca :D. I'm going to try to let loose a bit more in my future covers.
Great work once again! I listen to your videos just about every day and I enjoy every moment! Keep the videos comin!!
I appreciate that so much :) I'm going to try to make more videos this year!
Wow just stumbled across this. Second half is what you get if you combine Risk of Rain 2 ost with Breath of Fire 3 haha. Amazing
That was awesome! Keep rocking!
Love BOFIII one of the all time great RPGs IMO and I always enjoyed the cedar woods music. I can honestly say this is even better, well played man!!
+Genkaku Thank you! BOFIII is definitely one of the best RPGs :). Cedar Woods is one of many great songs from the game. I'm glad you liked my cover of it!
I'll bet most people notice the connection between this theme and the Mystic Forest in Chrono Trigger.
Hehe I think so! I know I noticed when I first played it. I wonder if the composers had that in mind when they were working on this track
@@StevenMorris i think they had it in mind, adult teepo looks like inspired in magus too
sounds and looks great ...Wonderful music my friend
***** Thanks Atti!
If they ever remaster or remake Breath of Fire 3, this should be the version put in the game. Good job, its really beautiful ^_^
+Starlightbeauty1225 Thank you! That's quite the compliment :). BTW I would love it if they remade or remastered BoF III (and then eventually started making BoF's like they used to again!)
+Steven Morris Yes, they need to bring the old rpg battling system back and you're welcome ^_-
Idol !!! You are very good!!!! amazing!!!!
Thank you!!
Sick cover dude, really sounds a lot like the original with the setup you've used for instrumentation. Good job.
Sazabi MSN-04 Thanks!! I was really trying to capture the original, but with live instruments. Of course the guitar vs synth solo was a little gratuitous ;)
Simply amazing, as usual, Steven!
DeMarcus Bolds Thanks DeMarcus :)
This is SO good!! Can't wait to see more music you do. Awesomeness
+Balkaraz Thank you for watching and for the compliments!! What are some of your favorite game tracks??
Makes me wanna go out and search for Bunyan :3 Awesome cover 10/10
Thanks again :). I've been wanting to play this again, hopefully I'll be able to get it again some day in the future.
Good job man, subbed just because of this video!
This is fantastic good job :)
Sounds so great ! Awesome man =)
***** Thank you! Spent some time mastering this one so that means a lot :)
Really cool arrangement, nice electric solo :)
Soundole VGM Covers Thank you! I finally did a bit of electric guitar playing for this one :).
wow, amazing cover from a game that doesn't get enough love! =)
Thank you! And agreed-- not enough love for Breath of Fire III!
Beautiful! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Best game of all time :) superb cover . keep it up
3ny6maticJ0ka Thanks! I'll try my best :D
niice. I'll keep watching :)

Amazing, you have to play more theme of bof 3!
Thank you! I see you are a fan :). I hope to do some more from that game in the future!
You are the man
Thank you for all the kind comments!
My God.
this is the best thing i ve ever heard...... i dont see any mistake
+Matty DiCaffrio Aw, thanks! I was very happy with the way this turned out. I'm happy so many people have been able to see it :)
I actually made it here before the upload notification went through. Lol.
DeMarcus Bolds That was fast!
You should do more of the BoF 3 soundtrack. You are really good at this!
Thank you! I've done a couple of other tunes but certainly hope I can do more in the future :)
2:34...I like this add-on.
It's about that time for the next episode to release! And this...dude...of course, with you permission first! :)
DeMarcus Bolds As always, yes! (and thank you for always checking) I'm looking forward to your next episode :). BTW, I'm in the process of working on Phantom Forest-- I'm waiting for an instrument to be repaired. Hopefully it will make an appearance!
Yay! My friend Marcus will be super excited. It will def make an appearance. I love that music!
And thank you again!
youre a music god
Wow, I can really hear the similarities.
This is actually the first I've heard of this game
Betsy7Cat Betsy, it's such a good game! If you like RPG's I think you'll enjoy it-- it's fairly simple, but that's part of its charm.
It's a shame I have no way of trying it, I do really like RPGs. I don't even have something I could emulate it on unfortunately
Betsy7Cat Yea... it's sad to see that happen to some older games that were great. I guess BoFIII only ever came out on PS1 and PSP. Maybe someday it will get put on PSN or something like that.
this music reminds me of chrono trigger forest music
