I never was able to play MGO in GoTP, and apparently there was even a version of MGO before that? idk I for the longest was only able to play MGS for the story because of lack of internet. MGO3 was my first exposure and I loved it. My friends and I sunk plenty of hours into it, and it always made me sad that the community on it diminished as quickly as it did. It was much more entertaining to me at the time than other online shooters that were out.
Well, have you seen a video properly describing the MGO that came with MGS4? If no, then watch one of those and you might see how that was A LOT better. MGO3 doesn't even have a good amount of content. Personally, I could ignore the things I don't like about it if it had a higher amount of good maps, good modes and unique characters. But Konami abandoned the game, so most players did that as well.

Still, even with that, MGO a la PP can still be fun and enjoyable. Not garbage at all, but certainly not perfect. I'd give it a 6/10.
Me too man. I loved doing CO-OP in Peace Walker. That type of mode in Phantom Pain had SOOO much potential!!!. I was dissatisfied to man, but it is what it is. I hope you enjoyed the video!!!
I have this game on my Xboxone S and ps4 and my 800.00 gamein pc off Amazon but mostly I will be playing if on steam because I have like 140 pc games on my account but no I don’t have next gen consoles I’m still have last gen I don’t have the new Xbox system or the ps5 I will mostly play it off pc because I don’t have xboxlive gold anymore and haf of my xboxlive friends don’t go online but who remembers the xbox system back when halo2 was basically every where and everyone played it if it was not for halo2 online I don’t think Xbox would be here but anyways I’m new to metal gear solid online try and got in it back on in the day on ps3 sadly I could not log in metal gear online so basically xboxlive or pc is my best option for it but I have it on pc off steam that way I don’t gotta pay two play online like xboxlive gold so basically it’s on steam you can download off steam it’s like only 19.99bucks for it and get the add ons for metal gear V it’s fun but yes I’m basically new to metal gear online and so far I like it maybe this summer I will buy a new Xbox system but I will probably get a ps5 slim but hopefully I will get a Ps5 and metal gear anyways see you buys on the battlefield

I played this game when used to be cool. Nowadays you've got kind of teams. Cheaters and loosers. Cheaters team up with each other, glitch around and make half of the items for opponents useless. While cheaters can (glitch-)shoot faster, recover earlier, don't need to wake up when get fultoned, run over puppies without any effect, snipe through walls, etc.; the looser team is just standing there, because 2 of them are 7 year old children. And the other players are newbies or just bad, and don't even know how to use controls, weapons or abilities. They don't even know what the actual goal of the game is. Just camping around and shooting with wu.pistol... against a sniper who is faaaar away.. When you somehow manage to stun someone of the cheaters, your teamate ruins it by directly killing the bounty. OVER and OVER again. They reject to get forward into enemybase, so you are closer to their spawnpoints, and have the advantage, to finish them off faster, so the tickets get faster to zero. Instead, they wait and help the enemy, by destroying bounty, using wormhole or tell the enemyteam your position. As a standard they don't use grenades and don't run, (because they are so "professional"). They are so far away from their teammates, that when teammates need help, there is no chance, that they shoot the red baloon down. While cheater-team is bombing everything away, and you can't see on the map, if there is a noisy enemy close by, the looser-team is absolutely quiet and don't use greanades or anything what could help their teammembers to hide them. Looser-team also don't mark, so their team could see where the enemies are. They also don't use cqc, don't interrogate, don't fulton, don't shoot, don't cover. They don't even know the difference between a leathal or a stun-weapon and when to use them. When a enforcer gets someone with isando (stun-weapon) they just kill them.. They don't secure the areas and even don't LOOK to their left or right, and just let go the enemy to the base.. It is so sad. I know times when teams where equal, without cheating. It was about skills and how you predict your opponent. Enforcers where TOGHETHER bombing the puppies, etc. away, while infiltrators where on their way to interrogate. Then, the positions just popped up, because someone used interrogation lvl3. Sniper then took them out one by another, and marked those who lost the marking, by using optics. Infiltrator2 then used his invisibility to send the others to sleep. "Give him coverfire!! He's going to use fulton..". Enemy-Team shooting the blue baloon.. If they aim for the baloon, then they can't shoot us... ATTACK!!!! The people understood that fulton is the most important thing in bounty-hunter. And they didn't stop trying to get forward (into enemy-base). "Block their sight, with smoke- or stungrenades.. protect the team..!".. It was so much fun back then, because everybody knew what to do. At least they were attacking and trying. But today the community became really poor.. There are some good players.. but really not too many.
I wish this game had crossplay my friend on pc and im on ps then we cant play together.Also player numbers very low if there was a crossplay i think there are little bit more rooms to play this game.
Unfortunately the best players dominate and it’s so unintuitive as to how they can play so well that you’ll NEVER stand even half a chance. And that’s if they ARENT cheating outright.

After each game you have to be at the top of the leader board for example if you're a f rank and you play against a bunch of c rank opponents and you win it will bump you up from a f rank maybe to a c rank
Sorry for the late response, high schools kickin my butt!!. Me too man, it's super satisfying to oneshot with in an AR in MGO, I agree, wish they would've put it in this game. Just because of how MGS5 is though, that could get pretty crazy!!

I play every day mgo3 there are ppl almost every hour of the day if u select match instead of auto u gonna find ppl playng , thats the goodthing the bad is most of the gamers are veterans and play hard so if u are new or u been out and are returning and play casualy u re going to suffer but if u can handle it u wont regret it Bounty hunter is so fun i ve seen matches that are totally lost and suddenly turn around the score and thats epic and happens a lot. One last couple of advices never never never respawn with your partner because that wastes the wormhole and never use the wormhole with a enemy that has less than 6 bounty its a waste doing it if has less than that, just point the gun at the enemy head so u can know how many bounty has.

One of the things I loved about peace walker was the coop missions, I was really disappointed when I realized mgo in TPP didnt have that.

That first loadout was nasty… You should spam Lv. 1 when you kill someone.
