    What do you think about mounting a rudder kit to that motor shaft?

    • @XtraordinaryFishing
      @XtraordinaryFishing  4 месяца назад +1

      Check the diameter before buying. The common ones online are to small for the shaft. I made that mistake once. But I would like to add one

      @@XtraordinaryFishing thanks for that advice! They say the rudder will assist in steering when the wind is up. I like your setup and am going to steal it. Haha.

    Nice video and setup. I highly recommend you swap that SAE connector for Anderson SB50 connectors. Very inexpensive off Amazon far more durable. I used 8awg SAE connectors for years and they often burnt out after about 2 months. I have used the SB50’s for a couple years now and never had a failure.

    How do you raise the motor if you run into something or running up on shallow water?

    • @XtraordinaryFishing
      @XtraordinaryFishing  8 месяцев назад

      It kicks up if you hit something hard so it doesn't damage motor. To lift it I just turn around in my seat and grab the top of the motor and pull it. It pivots and locks into whatever position you like. I know not every kayak is stable to turn around in but on the zulu I can stand behind seat by motor no issues if I wanted to

    No issues with shaft length? It calls for a 36 inch, 26 inch ok?

      @XtraordinaryFishing  5 месяцев назад

      @rashaadfullwood3597 not at all I'll even raise the motor a few inches when I'm in thick grass or on saltwater flats. Now when it's raised like that I can get a Lil cavitation at full throttle. But fully lowered no issues

    What is your rod stager?

    • @XtraordinaryFishing
      @XtraordinaryFishing  6 месяцев назад +1

      Just a basic rod holder from academy attached to the seat. I have been experimenting with different styles . I have a much better version now all parts from Walmart I'll be posting a video soon

      @@XtraordinaryFishing I'll be on the lookout for it. My kid has one of these. On most kayaks, stagers get in the way of landing fish, but the way you have it, it looks like it works quite well

    How long can you run that motor before the battery gives out

    • @XtraordinaryFishing
      @XtraordinaryFishing  8 месяцев назад

      I've never used more than 70% even fishing all day. My average trips are 6-8hrs i normally wont even hit 50% usage. But if you were going full throttle till it died it would probably only last a few hrs
