I'm certain they've timed it right and all, but,,, when it first started to play my immediate impression was that it was too fast. They're excellent, of course, but, I don't know, maybe it's me, but I always think that the absolute slowest speed with which this piece can legitimately be played is best because it adds dramatically to is mysterious and beguiling nature/effect. Oh wow, it's cut way to short, here, as well.

Stravinsky really does great stuff with double reeds. Always loved the orchestration on this part of the firebird.
