I think you made the right choice. You are right about the experience between the OG Duo and the Duo 2 are similar. Ive had my Duo for about 7 months. I went to buy Duo 2 and just felt like it wasn't as big of an upgrade to merit $1500.

I picked up an unlocked Duo on sale. I don't think I can do the camera bump on the Duo2. The Duo takes some getting used to but I am really enjoying it.
I really like the form factor of the Duo. I actually bought three and they all had defects. Just waiting on the Duo 2 to go on sale. I just wish it didn't have the camera bump.
I bought this from the link you provided below and it was delivered from Amazon yesterday surprisingly FAST. I actually prefer the Duo to the Z Fold 3 because of the two independent screens. Much easier to watch videos and type emails. I'm going the unlock route also, can you provide who you contacted at Microsoft to unlock it?? I will contact ATT first, but you said they were un-helpful [typical of ATT].
Go thru the AT&T unlock portal first. Then go to Microsoft website and find the contact support link. Give them the request number from AT&T, make sure you say that AT&T was zero help. I had my code after about 10 business days

Nice presentation. Haven't had an Android tablet since OS5. I recall many apps had tablet sizing issues. Has the tablet app presentation improved with the DUO and newer OS? Thank you!! Randy-IL

My Duo1 is my main phone. Every other day someone tells me the Duo is so cool.
I have a surface duo as a secondary phone as well and I actually enjoy a lot. In fact, going back to a single screen feels weird afterwards.
Good call. Prefer the Duo 1. I handled a Duo 2. The extra weight, thickness and camera bump, no thanks. Even before the price! Too much compromise.

Use it as a mini tablet its really nice for that. Worth 1500? Worth 700? Absolutely not. 400 500? I believe so

I actually had the fold 3 and this device and I was using my duo more than my fold 3
I actually just picked up the duo and going through the unlock process now. What provider did you end up going with?
Have you upgraded to the new Android 12L ? What's your impression of the new OS?

Allot of apps still are not optimized for tablets. However on the duo they all seem to scale pretty darn good.
