I actually gave up my Z Fold 4 to get the Surface Duo 2. I much prefer MS's dual screen solution than Samsung's.
Still worth it.
Great multitasking device... but awkward phone.
For sure, not the best phone. Wish the world have released the Neo.
@@technogi5222💯 agree with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 👍
Easily best device I've ever had. Had Duo one from beginning and then 2, never looked back. Hope my lasts forever...
Amazing device and better than a foldable. I would take a two screen phone any time over a foldable. Sadly, it is almost impossible to take Microsoft serious now because they always abandon everything.
Completely agree, I will be hard pressed to buy another product from Microsoft again. They keep abandoning their customers.
Microsoft = Abandons their hardware. Google = Abandons their software.
Nah, why would you want to split the middle when you can just use it as more screen, you do that on your computer anyways
@@Penguuproduction I've used both dual screen and foldable single screen cellphones. Each has their pros and cons. Two-task multitasking on dual screen phones is so fast and easy it's crazy. One giant screen foldable is much better for watching videos and consuming media.
I also still use it as my main driver and love the productivity aspect. I would say, all I would need in a surface duo 3 is faster chip to catch up to the minor glitch or lag, and battery. Camera would be a bonus, but that's my take. Software still has a lot more potential. Nice video.
I wish they would make a 3rd Generation. But I don't see it happening.
Love this device… I got super lucky and picked up the Duo 1 for $245 about 8 months ago but just picked up a Fold 4 for $261! 😜 - Open Box-it is flawless but didn’t have a charger, I don’t care for that price. So I sold the Duo 1 [which I miss] for $180, so I think I got a very lucky deal
Yes that's a heck of a price. I just scored a Pixel fold from Ebay for $729. Still a lot but better than the $1800 new price.
AAwww Yeah I don't ever buy new.

Still love both Duo 1 and 2. I keep a second Sim in my Duo and keep my primary Sim in my S24 ultra
What I really like about this product is the aspect ratio. I would love Samsung to make a foldable of this shape...
Interesting watch. I'm still using the Surface Duo 2 as my daily driver and probably will for the foreseeable future, past the end of life and no more security updates. Previously I had a Blackberry Key1 which I refused to part with until there started to be hardware issues so I've done this before haha! When you get unique devices that work amazing they are so hard to give up against all the mainstream standard slabs. I'll probably only change when I either get hardware issues or need a newer version of Android for app compatibility.
I've tried the foldables but they just don't work as well.
The Duo is still the best device for multi tasking, no contest.
Been rocking the og duo, but decided to upgrade today.
Great review ! Was just thinking about the duo a few weeks ago and was wondering how it was holding up. Thanks.
i know i would brake this phone 😑.
but a single of this screen fit into an aluminium mid spec device would be sweetly desired alternative to tye flooded tall and skinny.
I’m definitely getting this phone
I really enjoy mine. It is perfect as a secondary device like a tablet as well.
Amazing phone 📞..I need cover of this phone sir
Is it odd that I'd like a single display device with the same aspect ratio as surface duo 2 but with better cameras and battery life
Not at all, I would be all for it.
Can I stretch a website across both screens? A browser, chrome, Edge, whatever? Can I open different tabs from the same browser on different screens?
i need a device so i can access a web based back office on the go and make on the fly changes. I need to scroll left and right as well as up and down, and android is poor at this unless I pair a scroll mouse.
Thoughts?
i'm torn between this and a One plus open as my secondary work only device.
You can span any app across both screens. You can also have two different browsers running on each screen. You can have a different tab from the same browser on each screen. It's just not as easy as it should be. But I would recommend Duo over one plus for the price. Keep in mind length of software support though.
Thanks for the vid. The vid needs to be louder.
I noticed that, will boost the next one. Thanks
I’m using the Surface Duo 2 for the last 2 years, recently I started surfing from some miss functioning of both the mice and the speakers. Would rebooting the set to factory settings helps to fix those problems? Appreciate any help from people who the knowledge about this set. Thanks.
It couldn't hurt
Have you added 14 to it yet???
I wish, it is still on 12L. Microsoft will probably not even push 13 to it.
@@technogi5222 I've seen side loads to it but just not that brave lol
