35 km down is not in the mantel, but dont let the facts get in the way of a good sound bite.

I was under the impression that the hot spot that caused these volcanoes in now somewhere in the Tasman Sea now, and that these Volcanic shells were remnants of a past time, never to be woken again. In saying that, Mt Gambier, 5000 years ago, water came in... made me think that maybe the theory of a cataclysmic event in the indian ocean causing a tsunami might have some traction.

The responsible hotspot, that has moved from under Queensland around 600 million years ago to under the Bass Straight now (the continent moved, not the hot spot). That hotspot is responsible for all of the volcanic history on the entire eastern half of our country. 4000 years ago is a fraction of a blink on the geological scale in play here.

Complete Load of lies!!! the cosgrove hot spot has moved offshore and now lays out in the southern Ocean

that's a different hotspot track, but you're right it probably a hotspot that's gone out to sea.

      A) There are several hotspots, not just one.
      And
      B) hotspots don't move that fast in just a few thousands year 🤷🏻‍♂️
So Australia WILL see another volcanic eruption on the Australian mainland in the future. In South Australia to be precise.
It's just a question of when and the exact location.
      But not of "if"...

There could also be a subduction event that could cause movement of a “hot spot”.

Red rock in Colac it’s a dormant volcano mt cooper in Bundoora is a dormant volcano as well

This comes of as a very simplified view of what caused those volcanoes i the first place. Given the trajectory of the continent the next activity, if there is any, will likely be to the south of these.....

5000 years ago, the FLOOD OF NOAH'S TIME,.....cataclysmic world wide flood

    • @roscius6204
      @roscius6204 5 месяцев назад

There have been many cataclysmic flood events, from asteroid impacts though to volcanic explosions.
Absolutely none of them were world wide....None..
You're just trying to shoe horn your fairy tale into scientific reality

Yes a nice place to visit but I would never live there again, every second house in governments housing commission areas had huge problems with drugs or alcohol 😢 worst town I ever lived in.

@debe-ol6cg that's always been an issue. But it's still better then Millicent in terms of drug and alcohol

@@badkitty101 wow really? Well I remember hearing something like that many years ago 😪 I stayed there with friends about 1999 it was a quiet night outside so I thought it was nice at the time, until she stopped me from going for a walk that night saying "there's a few crazies around on heavy drugs!" 🤯 frightened me as I was totally unaware n inexperienced being a teenager 😯
