Aaaaaaaugh. I love him. He has his own thing going on. Sad that a lot of metal fans don't realize each singer is a unique individuality that should be given the freedom to develop in its own direction. People expect clones when there's no happiness and no recognition, and no point, in doing what has already been already done. If you're a singer you should not only be encouraged, but required, to be as different and unique as Andi Deris is.
Deris has much more personality and criativity for singing songs. Sometimes when he and Kiske are singing togheter, it looks like Kiske is an amateur (i mean, when we're talking about personality on stage), they both have their qualities are singers, but Deris is a showman
@@henriaugs Kiske was high flying too when he was 18. Andi in his 50s still rocks as a showman. But both have great chemistry together . Happy Helloween!!!
There's far better performances. His singing live is better now. Anyway, I still prefer Deris tone to other Helloween singers. Much more versatility, personnality and charisma !

Well, I feel the Sao Paulo version is much Heavier then this one also, the sound, and I prefer Sascha's solo over Roland's. But Again a Matter of Opinion
@MrSomonestolemyname Well, frankly speaking, the best of Helloween are Walls Of Jericho and the Helloween EP. The Keeper albums are very good and Pink Bubbles..., Chameleon rather awful. When deris joined in, things got better imo. Of course Helloween can never be what they used to.
he didn't butcher anything his voice is very raspy unlike Kiske who has clean voice and back then he used more sharp vocals than clean like he uses now
