Yeah, besides the rusting part, this would be great in the kitchen, but I noticed that coffee etch is real durable compared to the acid

Ive used hand planes that use O1 steel for the blade and that sumbitch held an edge for a looong time. Love your videos

I for sure notice a difference in Edge holding now that I have a Heat treat oven with o1, and thank you. I appreciate that.

I have made 2 knives with 01 tool steel. A Nakiri and a paring knife. I personally love the steel. I use a propane forge with a K-Meter thermocouple and parks AAA. Your knife looks great with the coffee patina.

Yeah, and I see nothing wrong with that method but so many people do it’s almost weird. I made a few knives with a propane forge myself and they turned out just fine.

I got the same set up for the grinder minus all them added features you have. Now I think I need them added on. For your cu Mia I made a few. Lower temp lots of borax and lighter hits. If you fail retry the piece usually they’ll restick with same process. Good luck and great content 👍🏼

I think I’m going to practice with contrasting steals and get good at that first then move to cu mai not ready for it lol I suck!
      Do you have a 2 x 42 ?
I love mine it’s been super reliable it’s a craftsman

Hi, I just came across your video.
Do you make and sell custom knives to order?
How can I get in touch with you about this?
    Thanks!
