Thankyou Fiona, I really enjoyed the video, it was helpful and also lovely to see around the garden again. I now have a list of plants which I will be looking into their suitability for our garden. I read somewhere that it's good to give hydrangeas Epsom salts when watering, being careful not to get any on the leaves. Having been given a lovely blue one recently, I'm wondering what your expert opinion is on this. It's going to be put in a large pot. We will definitely be joining up again, as we've missed visiting your peaceful, beautiful oasis in Ardleigh. Eunice B
Epsom salts is another way of trying to keep the flowers blue, at Green Island we use the Vitax Hydrangea Colourant to help keep our hydrangeas blue. We look forward to welcoming you back to the gardens.
Wonderful video, thank you

What zone are you in? Will amistad survive in zone 7?
Ours survived down to -8 Celsius last winter, but it is advisable to mulch and take cuttings as insurance.
