Follow so I can get to 5000 subscribers haha! In this video I'm revisiting the challenge switching to my old iPhone SE in 2024. Is it still usable? We'll figure it out! (plot twist: I still use iPhone SE as a secondary phone in my work)
Im still using SE 2020 today and i can say that this phone is best in terms of performance, and i will not complain about the battery because the SE phones are really designed for casual users, and the good thing that others didnt notice is that, this SE phones balances your screen time and other real life stuff you should have to do. This phone will teach you not to scroll any social medias for the whole time. So kudos to the SE phone especially the SE 3rd generation!💖
I really like the iPhone SE . I got one secondhand with 99% battery health and still looks like new . I cannot handle large phones anymore literally , as I have trouble with pain in my body and it literally hurts to hold a large smartphone . I am old enough to remember the phones in the late 90s and have had many different ones since then. I’ve seen the phones get larger over time . Not everyone wants or needs a large phone . I am a fan of the home button , I find it easier to use .
agree new phones keep getting bigger :( miss the compact form factor with mini and SE I hope they'll present new versions next year and will keep making these phones!
I am using my SE2020 4 years and still working like a first day. I replaced battery in official service in january, and phone is like a new one. Not need to upgrade to newer versions yet.
ill definitely be getting the se4 if it comes out with a home button. i really hope apple listens to their SE users, cuz the only reason why anyone would get an SE is either they want to minimize screen time, or have Touch ID, or really cuz of the lower price. and for an android user like me, its perfect
Actually, it's cost. That's the primary reason to purchase an SE. That's the reason for its existence. Re-use old shells and binned parts and sell for less. That this happened to be phones that were smaller or with touch ID, is coincidental, not the mission statement.
Nice video. I bought an iphone SE 2020 in 2022. I used it one year and was happy with it. I upgraded to iPhone 13, didn't like it. I changed to Samsung s23. Didn't like it either. Now I bought an iPhone SE 2022 and I'm so happy with it. There's something about a home button, touch ID, smaller size and an LCD display that just hits different.
This is a killer phone as long as you buy it 2nd hand or on visible for 149.00 it's gonna be updated for at least 5 more years. Its built quality is simply amazing for the price of this phone. Buying it brand new I'd say heck nah.
Disclaimer : iOS 18 isn't good for the chip inside this phone. I have an iPhone 11 and it lags. Hard. The battery is also a concern. The main argument is the best one : we need to get attention AWAY from phones, not on them. The laptop is coming back in my opinion, and the way I've been experiencing tech lately.
I won one on an eBay bid £70 for my mother. I set it up for her at my home and used it for a few days and must say i really liked it, so much so ive started looking fir one as a second phone. Obviously i hekped my mother register her biometrics when i gave it to her
@@Cal760 thank you so much! Hmmm I don’t know if that’s connected to the battery issue, or new iOS updates needing more and more performance power. I can’t 100% be sure, but I think both plays their role (new updates more)
I am also excited to receive my IPhone Se in a few days. As of now, I also own a IPhone 15 pro blue and i would say its an amazing phone and worth the money. I got this SE for a deal from verizon for $150 bucks.
@@filvaliulin Yes indeed. I am typically not a huge fan of big phones like the Pro max, but prefer the smaller versions like the 15 Pro and something like the SE which i am getting
I have an iPhone 14 Pro and honestly it’s only better camera wise. As he said the screen is way brighter and a bit clearer but honestly my iPhone SE product red edition has fewer bugs, less lag and it’s just so beautiful aesthetically wise! I will be purchasing ANOTHER iPhone SE before they stop making them 100%
@@mihirkumar2887 don't know :(( but if you're looking for a phone to use for 5 years you need something more fresh i think. If you have the budget - I would look at iphone 14/15 (not pro)
Thanks for the video! I wanted to ask if you've noticed your iPhone getting warm at the back. Does your screen shake (if you touch it) when playing music a bit loud, or is it just the back that's not noticeable? By the way, I'm using iOS 17, so it's unrelated to the new iOS 18 vibration feature for visually impaired users. Thanks!"
@@filvaliulin yeah but still, if someone's on a budget, going for apple products is the worst mistake possible. when it comes to flagships tho, all flagships are 99% the same so that's just personal preference, but in a budget people should be getting the best possible, and apple isn't even close to being below average when it comes to budget devices.

I got mine in mid-february and I totally loved it! The compact size, the minimal features it offers ...honestly, that's all I need.

Which iOS is your SE 3 on? When it first released it should be iOS 15, but some places that sell now it’s iOS 17.4 installed
hmm didn't check that in a while
17.6 at the moment
I have an se 2022, got it in may 2022 and very soon I am getting a brand new 15 pro because some places still have it in stock
