This happens to a lot of high-performance vehicles from novice drivers. doing launches right after start up…..so if he just started the vehicle and launched it . the lifter compressed, but it did not have the oil pressure/proper amt of oil in lifter to spring back up and it bent the push rod simple as that. there is no misfire now ! So the lifter did not spin and CAM did not get chewed up, simply a bent pushrod. Lucky is the owner of this ride 🙏 blessings to you and your channel Bro.
Bought a 2015 300s few years back, redline pearlcoat paint and i did full tint...I have been getting compliments almost EVERYDAY for the past 5 years....love my 300!
First.. your channel is 💯 on point! Between content, editing & flow your straight killing it. As for that engine I’d be more concerned with the abnormal wear stressed on lifter, spring and cam lobe. So it’s either replace and roll with it and see if it last or strip down to mic cam and send head to machine shop. It’s a tough call, hopefully it didn’t run to long with that wishbone and all is well. Great channel 🤜
it is not fixed IMO. Typically, a pushrod will not bend like this unless the lifter fails and gets stuck in the bore. You should do an oil change and check the oil filter media for metal chunks. This is the easiest way to check the engine for damage. You could also send some of the oil off in a sample and have it evaluated.
Customer stated that he didn’t wait for temps to get to operating level before getting on the throttle soon after he did it started to make that noise.
I don’t think it’s fixed either there is a reason why that pushrod bent to begin with I think there is an issue with that banks valve train assembly and I’m gonna ask my buddy who is a 30 year master tech at dodge here New York upstate Albany area I’ll get back to u
@@KhalSRTdang, so sad some people have money to buy that stuff but they don’t take care of it. My hemi warms up at least to 100F until I put it in gear, still I don’t press the throttle until it reaches at least 180F

not entirely fixed, likely more damage there. You just fixed the easiest piece tbh. I'd check the oil and likely put a camera in the there to check the walls of that piston.
Unfortunately where they locate the battery to the rear of the vehicle doesn’t keep the battery warm like it would under the hood and the batteries are junk. The dealer wants $450 for one but I got an AGM battery now from o’reillys under my account, and I have had no problems. Got several customers that had the same problem with the dealership batteries👍
Like a few other's said, its a reason why it bent. now I'm thinking is lifter or cam lobe bad on that cylinder. Was oil level low? Did oil need to be changed? These cars run at high temperatures, thats why fans continually runs. I would definitely look into it further. It will probably happen again.

Wouldn’t that add to the chances of the lifter getting stuck? Oil didn’t properly lube the engine by the time the driver mashed the gas.

I like to coat the battery terminals with dielectric grease. I coat each terminal completely and I never get that corrosion stuff all over.
That looks like some strong resistance to be able to bend a push rod like that.

Im thinking it was over revved at cold temps. If the cam was damaged and chewed up the lifter there would be a noticeable mis fire.
I’d say the motor was over reved and bent the push rod !!
I agree
