TL;DW
The pint is loads of fun, particularly at slower speeds the tire is just SO much more fun than a stock vega on the XR.
Top speed is noticeably slower than the XR so don't expect to win any drag races.
I'm so pumped on mine and can't wait to put many many more KMs on it.
I have no idea if you can fly with it but I wouldn't recomend. IMO its not worth risking getting a cranky TSA officer and choosing between leaving your board or missing your flight.

It only took 3 times falling on my butt and maybe 30-45 minutes to really have it click for me and I've never surfed, going snowboarding, or used a skateboard. It's freaking fun and pretty easy to figure out. Now to figure out how to curve and turn so sharply. You're crazy good, man!

I'm a Unicyclist. I've been riding for 24 years. I really like the concept of a Onewheel for sure. It looks like a lot of fun. You made some really good points about riding them with your spouse or friends. Great ideas. Great video and review. A unicycle can be brought just about anywhere too unlike a bicycle. It is really good for exercise where as a Onewheel not so much. Thanks and God bless!

How has it been? Thinking about pulling the trigger on a pint
The last few seconds of this video with you spinning around on the floor...literally caused me to laugh spit on my screen! You are a funny dude and I dig your videos. I am two weeks into riding my OW and Love it. I wiped out pretty hard transitioning from pavement to grass. Wiped out two more times on dismount. I think that sticking the dismount is currently the most challenging aspect of the OW. Next on my learn to do list is the Bonk. Thanks for your videos!
Dude - you're so great! Loved the video, loved your genuine spirit. I'm 56 years old and I just ordered my first wowgo kt today. I wish I would have seen this video before I plunked down my $449. You're doing great never let a strangers negitive comments hurt your feelings. Just ordered the pint I’m 64 years young haven’t been on even a skate board since the wheels were metal how hard is it to learn and what mode is best for beginners. Oh great videos

hahah the end clip. Seriously though, since I've skated for most of my life, I wonder if a Onewheel would feel comfortable right away, or if the balancing is completely different?
From what I understand it's more akin to snowboarding. The way you shift weight and carve is a different feel all together. Your connection to the ground is centralized rather than spread like the four wheels on a skateboard.

I've been saving for a one-wheel for a couple months now. you may have changed my mind into getting 2 pints instead of 1 xr are so my wife and I can ride together.
So what did you end up going with?

I really think that onewheel is the way to go but they are still expensive for my country
I like ewheels better, they are safer, faster, longer range, and although harder to learn up front it's overall not that hard to learn within a few hours and then your able to glide anywhere and goes on all terrain.
Can't wait to be able to buy one eventually!

I really want that to happen too. It’s being made in California though and I’ve looked at a lot of other new electric vehicles being made out there and they don’t seem to be showing any sign of the prices going down any time soon. This is what happens when you don’t expand your production line. If we have any hope of them coming down in price they need to double or better yet triple their production line size in order for it to be more affordable to the general public. Even more so for us here in the UK. Even though it’s a little bit cheaper here, it’s still very much out of a lot of peoples price range.
It won't as long as it has no serious competition and people keep buying it. It's great that they do have a cheaper alternative.
Daniel Whyatt it’s because the price of living and taxes go up almost everyday. They’re probably struggling just the keep the price the same and not higher. Go to your political channels for more info.

Great review! Onewheel is amazing! I've put 850+ miles on my XR this summer (and still can't dismount!). Your XR review was a big part of why I bought a Onewheel. So thanks! I have to say though, the pint feels very insecure for me. I'm 205lbs and I feel like it can't handle my weight. My kids absolutely love it though! I think it's great if you're under 150lbs.
I've never successfully ridden a skateboard more than a couple of meters but now I want to give one a good go!
