  • Embedded rails Addie model instructional how too informational video explaining, demonstrating and performing steps and sequences on how to make embedded rails, concrete slabs and parking lots for the model railroading hobby. Video demonstrates by using examples of previous completed projects to convey a process through sequence series using supplies and tools needed to produce the desired results. Embedded rails are challenging for most modelers and can be a mystery for many to model. There are some plastic kits on the market such as the Walther’s grade crossing kits as an example but these can’t produce the results for areas of layouts that have complex track patterns, curves and dimensions that kits don’t answer.
Northeast Florida Model Railroaders presents the 1/87 HO scale modular model railroad located in Orange Park Florida. Our layout is controlled by the latest NCE digital command control system (DCC) and features model railroad manufactures such as Athearn, Broadway Limited Imports, Bachmann Trains, Mikes Train House (MTH) etc. Northeast Florida Model Railroaders represents the greater Jacksonville Florida metropolitan area and is a group of model railroad enthusiasts who strive to educate and share our hobby with public open houses and around the world through our videos. At our home location in Jacksonville Florida our layout is twenty-two feet wide and eighty feet long when all club members come together with their modules to put on display. Last year on September 30, 2015 we lost our warehouse and had to disassemble the modular railroad. Most sections (modules) belong to various club members who've taken their part of the railroad home for storage. August 18th thru the 22nd of 2016 we were lucky enough to set up our modular layout at the Saint Augustine Florida indoor outlet mall inside the sprawling community room. Since September 2019 we’ve been granted an office space in Orange Park Florida to set up and have been there since the creation of this video however it’s not a guaranteed permanent location. We are currently looking for a permanent location to set up our amazing modular railroad.
Locomotive featured is an MTH SD70 ACe
