Nice! What timing... just got home... Sounds like a lost track from Zawinul's Lost Tribes album! Just neeeed a vocoder... everybody neeeeds a vocoder, though best kept in a box under the synths at all times... 😅 Anyways, you've got some amazing sound sculpting going on there!

Well... usually a vocoder is the answer to "what is that horrible noise?"... at least in my experience... However... for Zawinul best start with Weather Report's Black Market or the double live '8:30', though you might prefer his more 'personal' Syndicate or his solo work. He used this ancient Korg DVP1, sounded amazing, he kept it under his keys next to a bottle of vodka... once he had an even older VC-10 too, on top of his kit, saw him twice, awesome concerts!

Thank you for introducing me to Weather Report! Listening to Black Market now. So much 70's Steely Dan vibes going on. I'm a big fan of Steely Dan and this fits very well with me. Nice one!
