nice video, i just saw something like this nearby would it be nice to have this up to this day for a home lab, i'm still thinking its being sold like 100$ just by my neighbor
It should work however you may need to use an older version unfortunately I do not have this server anymore so unable to doublecheck when I had the server I was using Windows server 2012 I hope this helps you
Danny Thomas it’s only loud when booting and shutting down. Should be fine for a home server but you could probably get something smaller like a cheap desktop with a bunch of hdd/ssd if you’re just storing stuff.
Hello sorry for bothering you i got question. Are this type of server worth it ? i saw someone selling 3 of them for 60€ each /together for 180€ without hdds and all 3 servers are with 4x 1 gb of ram)
Personally I would get something a little bit more modern as the one I had I could not get it to run a virtual machine and some of the more modern software would not run I hope this helps
@@pcgamer7771 if you turn on the virtualization stuff in the BIOS it will run ESXi 6.5 just fine. But to get any decent disk performance out of the P400 you do need a working cache battery. It won't run 6.7 or after.
Where does the vacuum hose go
sound like an air raid alarm
That’s a good way of putting it personally I think it sounds like a jet taking off

@@andrewnoonan4044 You can make your own battery pack and wire/solder it in there.
@@ali1t Or you can get something more modern and get more ram/threads all while saving on power.
