You know a liar by the amount of details they are willing to give to people. 40 yrs on and I haven't told a soul the absolute details. Maybe to my detriment but I'm not about burdening. Married 35 yrs to a wonderful man who deals with my PTSD everyday. She makes our truth just that more shameful. I am hoping that you found peace 🙏💪

I dont understand why certain people have such a difficult time being honest. They would prefer to destroy the life of a person that certainly doesn't deserve it. AH certainly won't ever come clean but all of those "friends"of hers that know the truth need to step up and stop condoning her behavior and lies. She was never afraid of Johnny, she was the abuser and is punishing him because he wouldn't cowtow to her demands. I honestly don't think she cares about anyone else but herself.

As a professional director for over 20 years, I can tell you that I see through her completely. She's not an actor who connects . She is a 'visual only' actor. She relies on facial expressions to get her point across. The words coming out of her mouth do not connect with true emotion of any kind.
I don't have your professional experience but I agree 👍 this is something I have observed the same things. There is a disconnect between what she says and her facial expressions.

I’ve never seen a better example of a walking cliché in my life. She just adapts bits of people she admires, famous movies, legendary books, etc etc. but not in the way that we all do as humans, whereas it makes up bits of who we are and WHO we become over time. She does so in an utmost blatant and cliché way, adapting all the interests and loves a partner had so that they think they’re meant to be with her, adapts these phrases she’s come across in her readings that she thinks everyone can relate to so that they’ll be consumed by her. Adapts behaviors of people who genuinely ARE captivating and genuinely does make any person feel like the only person in the room so that people will undeniably feel a connection to her. She lets this obsession of being THAT person, that charming, captivating, extraordinary person consume her and you can see through the fake tears and fake emotions and fake words Years and Years and Years back. I just never had reason to pay attention. But I’ve known many girls like that. They fall for a rocker, they now become rocker-esque. Fall for an artist, their whole life is now about art. Fall for a sports star, the lifestyle consumes them. They just adapt and adapt and adapt. But Amber heard does it to an extreme level. To the degree that it’s too fake to believe yet she’s probably genuinely started to believe some of her bs herself. It’s siiiick. So sick and twisted.
I was having the same thought. My main thought was “will the real Heard please stand up”, as she seems to act like a mirror with those around her. Unfortunately, she’s a bit more ‘cuckoo in the nest”, or parasitic in result.

In a twisted way she helped me heal because two years ago I started listening to the infamous tapes of her abusing Johnny and I realised that I was Johnny in my own marriage…..8 years of the same crappy circular arguments, put downs and taunting and it really helped me to realise what was going on and I left…..
There is a great lesson in "never marry a Cluster B personality". We should be teaching our young people so they can learn to avoid the destruction. Some never recover & unfortunately there is no cure in approximately 98% of the cases. We don't want to believe it but usually no contact is the best approach...if possible.
@@walloffire2225 there are many tools to teach to watch out for, the first I teach is don't jump in bed with the first good looking face you meet! Another is look to their relationships with their parent's & peers! If a female has a bad relationship with her Dad, or dysfunctional, really good chance those same things will pop up later in their own life, or a mother & son. Similar if they don't have healthy relationships with siblings & peers, look to the reasons! Also if they have many followers but few true friends, that is also a good warning sign. Etc etc. However you can't know without a good psych eval what mental health issues they are suffering, or dealing with. But being informed & aware helps a great deal!
The benefits to the public of this trial being public are many. Society has been fostered to produce a pandemic of narcissism, with values placed on being the "it girl". Hopefully these values will be revealed for what they are.
I'm sorry you went through it, but I'm happy you woke up & got out! Good for you! You identified with Johnny & realized the abusive ways she treated him was also your story. Johnny helped you, not AH. Because if he would've stayed silent instead of standing up for himself, you wouldn't have heard the tapes. Johnny has helped a lot more people by coming forward than anyone realizes! Men are hurt & abused by women, but it's not something people take seriously. That needs to change.

Great deep dive. I did not pay attention when AH's allegations were made initially. Since the new trial in VA began, and with unexpected time on my hands, I've been drawn into the convoluted story.
It is clear to me that JD is the victim here; the recorded audio of AH taunting JD about writing a book is, by itself, enough evidence of that. It is beyond infuriating that someone would hijack the #metoo movement and try to ruin someone's career with false claims of abuse.

Yeah - wild. Most domestic abuse victims don’t have their support systems around them because isolation is the foundation of the abuse. But Amber’s “abuser” for some reason put anyone Amber wanted close up in his penthouse apartments down the carpeted hall from their door.

Because Amber mirrors people, she adapts to another person and basically lacks her own personality. When you are alone with a narcissist, they can focus on you. But in court there were too many people, it’s impossible to mirror a crowd.

Amber even demanded that Depp continue to let her friends live there and pay for them to live there in the divorce settlement plus other demands or she'll move forward with these claims! It's sickening!!
Now that's handy! WE divorced JD and you need to give ALL of us a part in the settlement. No wonder she coul d get them to back her up and lie for her.
He should have called her bluff. I wish he had been stronger back then to take her on but abuse leave a toll on your spirit. He should charge her friends and family who stayed at his properties (and used him to get drugs) rent for all the time they stayed there. They are all ungrateful and used him.

well it really is very unfortunate because so much progress was made during the " me too" movement but it is important to remember that people like Amber Heard are out there. Its not uncommon for people with personality disorders to take on the role of the "victim" and to use the court system against the partner who they feel have "wronged them".

After 35 years in Alanon I can tell you she actually handles him very well in that audio considering she is dealing with a drunk who lies every time he opens his mouth. Johnny Depp was abused by his mother as a child and became an addict through her giving him her prescription drugs at 14. So, just because someone has tragedy in their life doesn't mean they should be excused. Johnny has gotten help for his demons and admits to his struggles with drugs and alcohol. I will never feel anything but disgust for AH and her co-conspirators.

Re: Amanda D. distancing herself from Amber- She probably began to recognize the way she had been treated by Amber/seen Amber behave come full circle and realized she had let herself be lied to. Friends with good intent can cover for or excuse bad behavior, just like Johnny did, in hopes that it will get better.
It is telling that Johnny's people stuck by him through all the tough stuff and they still speak fondly of him in the trials. Amber's people got pretty scarce when the lights came up.
I love to see her come forward and expose Ms Turd during the trial.

The Amber and Whitney dynamic is one I have personally witnessed. My mothers husband is a narcissist (our families are somewhat blended) and both of his adult kids ended up becoming manipulative narcissist themselves. They have this bizarre relationship where everything between them is self serving and they almost work on a team to get what they want from their dad (who has lots of $$), while simultaneously hating each other. It's the most bizarre dynamic and the whole family is absolutely nuts from my perspective, everyone lives from a place of self servitude, while talking poorly about one another when they're not around, then pretending to be super close while together. It has been very odd for me to witness and experience as someone who grew up with two relatively normal parents.
Those manipulating skills are up to 11. Getting people to do stuff for her, exploiting their goodwill and naiveté, living off their wealth and name. Meanwhile some people can't even talk their way out of a parking ticket :D

Johnny wanted a no drama divorce because he knew this was a private matter and would taint both their reputations. Amber refused blaming Johnny for everything. It's in the recorded tapes. After the divorce, Amber kept up the abuse crap over and over again costing Johnny not only his reputation but important roles. She was never going to shut up and act with class - Johnny had no choice.
The damage she has caused....not only to Johnny but to the women in DV situations then and now.

Don’t they have any decency? A conscience? I mean how the hell can they still support Amber? For her to have victimized someone and then flip the script and turn the victim into the perpetrator and then go on to become a public figure claiming to advocate for victims of abuse makes me sick. My mother was a victim of domestic abuse and she wasn’t taken seriously at all this was in the 80s. I wanted women to be believed with all my heart. That means that the same standard has to be applied to men who should be believed too when they are victims. For this woman to use this platform for her own ends after what she has done it just makes me so angry.

My husband is one of 8 kids and he is the only boy. He has 1 Bisexual sister & one gay sister.
Gay girls tend to hang out in a big group. They will all have sex with each other at different times and will eventually have all dated one another by the time the circle has all made its diameter. They will have emotions & Jealousy of ex-girlfriends, ex lovers, sexual tension, friendly rivals, and best friend closeness & bond. They will all compete for Amber's affection, time, love, sex & friendship. Hence the fight over planning her wedding shower. They are like a big Harem. Then throw Johnny in the mix and you get Jealousy of sex, affection, time and friendship. If Johnny had a threescore with any & AMBER it's even WORSE. The fact that Amber was with a woman exclusively before I will say 99% sure. So that breeds sexual animosidty between all three, Jealousy, and insecurity. Exactly why in the trial they said Johnny was real insecure when AMBER was off filming and how AMBER openly had cheated on Johnny with Jason, James F., Billy Bob & Elon. Because she has no boundaries. She regularly sleeps with co-workers, like she did with Johnny, James, Billy.
Most gay or Bisexual people have been molested as kids. Like over 90%. The same with my sister in laws. So my guess is add that complexity into Amber's mental problems, her friends and the Dinamics in her marriage with Johnny and him feeling like he can help her. "IF He can take her abuse long enough she will see he isn't gonna leave her and she can start to heal". Except it's not that simple. She has to want to heal. Now add in LGBTQ+ have the highest domestic violence rates in relationships. The science says they don't have healthy role models to emulate & they only have heterosexual role models to use as examples. This sends mixed signals on who will "act" out the male or female roles, they will often battle over who will assume the "male" or "female" roles. They are both trying to live in a role they will never be, nor could fully understand.
I hope this helps give a better glimpse into the dynamics. Alot of Johnny & Amber's problems with who is in control, the inner power struggle that is the very source of their domestic violence is because she is a Gay feminist who is living her life with one foot in each lifestyle (both Homo & Hetero). She tries to emasculate him at every turn & her Harem constantly has her flip flopping. She has NO idea of her own idenity - sexually, spiritually, emotionally. I don't think she is living two seperate lives - sexually, emotionally, and partners. One major factors in sexual abuse of children in their formative years, it will cause a personality split. I guess I'm not a dedicated younger sister like Whitney because I could never back my older sister up if she did something like Amber! It's interesting because I grew up with an emotionally and verbally abusive mom but like Johnny I became a kinder person. I get EXTREMELY uncomfortable being around people like Amber and I don't like fighting. I'm a very pacifistic person mainly because of my own trauma. I was diagnosed with C-PTSD from it and currently looking at different therapies. It's interesting how trauma effects everyone differently.

I have followed this case for a year. I've heard the audios. I've followed channels that take apart her stories piece by piece. You've done an awesome job of this case. One thing that would be useful is if you used this case to analyze how an abuser turns tables on the victim to present as the victim him/herself and the red flag behavior that Amber presents. This case should be a learning opportunity for the public of the anatomy of abuse and how abusers play the victim to escape accountability.

Goodness how I agree! My parents were lovely but there was paternal parental abuse of kinds that would never occur today. I have no children, being gay, but looking at the relationships of my siblings and my partner's siblings with their children--how techniques of child-raising have changed since the latter 1950s... compared to children born after circa 1998 or so into a similar socio-economic level, in the same city and country (Australia).

@Anastasia Abusers usually are extremely charming, they simulate solidarity (frequently at other's expense - like AH did ie. lending her friend JD's apartment for her jewelry business) to trick and posses their unconditional response, making them think they do things out of generosity and empathy and this is why friends and couples believe they are good persons and stick with them, at least during the time that the abuser works that hard to conquer them. Actually abusers do it because they need to feel people belong to them, that they own them. Moreover, to them they are their property and they don't accept anyone leaving them because they think they own them and their will.
Amber reminds me of someone who was one of my closest friends for nearly 20 years. During my friendship with her I knew that she would lie or at least exaggerate everything and start drama but somehow she still seemed like a really good caring friend. I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Amber's friends. While they might be lying they probably truly believe that Amber was abused. Chances are amber constantly lied about Johnny to them and also would have lied about them to Johnny just to create constant conflict.

Then she had the daddy issues because her dad was sometimes violent. Her Dad taught her how to break wild horses and to hide or cover up her emotions. IDK why. You'd think animals would train bettter with love Anyway, thats what the therapist, or Elaine Bredshoft, one of her lawyers said on Day 1 of the trial-that Amber tends to hit people when she feels dirsrepted. I think of her many mental and emotional health issues--she has spiritual issues. Poeple may experienment on faith but not do it as a vengence and vindictiveness like Amber does, Its like she went out to more liberal CA and freaked out more and maybe couldnt handle the lss boundaries. It really pisses me off that she was watching and observing women testifying about their abuse. She saw the attention they are getting and She legit thought- I could portray that. I can spin this tale and release it along with aqua man, and I’ll be the talk of the town. She could've taken her experience as a survivor of abuse at her father's hand, and done this good thing. She could've treated the people (Johnny, and the other real people in her life) with the love, and respect they treated her with, and still been an advocate for women and children. There was a legal declaration from her, but I can't find the document yet. I believe it was made in June last year, but don't quote me on that. Not sure where to look either. The first time I listened to AH giving an interview about abuse I knew she was lying. She is totally not credible to a true survivor. As a documented DV survivor, I have photographs, hospital records and witness’s, I don’t believe this woman for a moment. She is sly and glib, she would have landed in hospital on multiple occasions if her allegations were true. No one can recover from the beatings she describes in a few days. I had the best medical care as well as traditional Chinese Medical herbal ointments & healing from naturopath and it took several weeks & in one case months, to recover from the facial bruising I sustained from being beaten. I am so angered by this horrible person trying to be a spokesperson for women survivors of DA.
She definitely does not discuss theses “so called events” with the pain we have heard other women discuss them. She sickens me and her actions are a betrayal to those who have been true victims of domestic violence

Thank you so very much for all of the work you've put into this video. I've only begun reading & watching the information about JD & AH a few days ago when my RUclips feed was constantly filling up about these people. I didn't even know who AH was, and I only knew that JD was a movie pirate. I've been going down the rabbit hole for the last few days, so of course, I've come across the names & videos of most of the people you've discussed on here tonight. You've come up with the same, or similar psychological conclusions as I have .... though it was so interesting to see the way that you brought it all together. This AH certainly is a nasty, entitled person ... In fact, I have a sister who could easily have turned out this way .... & unfortunately she is to a certain extent, but I walked away from her when my mother died ... also a narcissist ... but my weaker sister remains in the web.
These people are certainly a scourge on society ... and unfortunately, it's the soft-hearted, or weak, who become their victims. I'm extremely sad for JD as the moment I saw the photo of him while watching this play out, I could see what a very kind, shy, sensitive person he is. He turned out to be the kind person after his mother ... and although it took me 60+ years to walk away from my sister, I'd discovered that once I could be of no more use to my mother, I barely existed ... She used to say "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" ... and she certainly bought the honey in bulk! ... my sister is the same. I'm not like that though ... I can't be fake ... but I have also been ripped off a lot over the years, but I'm happier being the person I am than being stuck in a dish of honey! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you what a great expose you have written, and I'll certainly keep following you. btw. I think that you are by far prettier than AH ... You have such beautiful skin & natural beauty. I'd only thought to myself today that AH really is only a rather normal looking person ... and without make-up, she'd be nothing. She's obviously climbed herself to the top on the coat-tails of others ... who unfortunately she's probably left them with their fingers still hurting from the pain of breaking the bones of their fingers as she stood on them to get onto the next rung. It never ceases to amaze me how someone with narcissistic personality disorder can keep up with their lies and projections and gaslighting and never feel remorse about what they have done to another human being. Abusers don't have the capacity of feeling remorse because they think the other is the guilty one. In fact they plan everything they do to those they believed betrayed them. Abandonment is something they do not tolerate because to them the other is something they own.
That's why I call them demons.
Of all the children who suffer abuse they seem to grow to behave in 2 ways-
One being determined protectors who want to end the cycle & the other being brutal advocates for the mindless continuation of the stupid behavior they've been subject to. AH is not a thinker- she's a basic perpetrator of abuse via the same old tried and true behavior as any other person who reacts and tries to maintain their world by controlling every aspect of it and who's closest to her, in which ever way works.
Johny is gentle and calm, naturally kind & downplays sh!t behavior in order to minimize the potential for how he knows things can escalate quickky- this is his trauma response & how he tries to maintain safety in his world. Also typical of many people who grew up in abuse.
I grew up in it, I lived in it as an adult, I understand it on a personal level.

When I first saw this video was an hour I was thinking, there's no way I can going to watch this whole thing... But as I was getting into it listening in the first few minutes, I was like, this is really really good!! Enthralling, interesting, thank you for shedding light on all of the different characters and delving deeper into the Whitney eard relationship with Amber giving very succinct but also informative accounts in evidence of the abusive nature of their sibling relationship.
