I swapped out my super-game-improvement irons for these and feel like they are the perfect transitional clubs. They go just as far , but feel more precise. Obviously, softer on impact & pleasant sound. But just in terms of looks, absolutely gorgeous. The tour is the pinnacle of that category but I’m afraid I’m not at that level yet. The lofts on the forged also blend with the other ends of my bag & I couldn’t be happier.
Looks good, Chris! I’m actually content with my 921 Forged, but I will say the 923 looks a little nicer. 1:08 so the 923 Forged are milled through the sole. Chris says “Instead of…” so does that mean the 921 Forged weren’t milled through the sole, but from the top of the back of the club face down?
Please please keep the loft of P at 45 for the forged model... Other models are fine but jpx forged ones have been the staple of mizuno irons for years.
Hey Chris, I can't wait to demo them. I am comparing them to your MP223, i230 and the new Cobra King forged line. What I'd like to know is you say the new design "pops". My question is, will they be consistant in distance and not produce that "flyer" on mid-longer irons and "jumpers" on the short? Also, would you say they are a little more forgiving then the MP223's? Will they be released this or next month, cant wait!
ruclips.net/video/Evq0LO8ntGs/видео.html I think this answers your question about flyers/jumpers. As for the the comparison with the 223's, I played played the 921 Forged before I switched to the 223's and if the JPX line continues the way it has, I think the 923 Forged will be a bit more forgiving. Just my 2 pennies.
@@xxthadeucexxI dont want to get into a debate over this but I can give you at least 6 links to reviews that say different. Not to mention my own demo experience with the P790 latest version catching "flyers" with the 7 iron. Just to be clear, I have an old set of DCI's which I get dispersion of 4. Not like the P790 that was 15 +. This is why I'm asking, I dont want to say ever Hollow Body or material filled head has this issue, but some do. So, I dont agree with the guys at TEG.
it depends your swing speed if i tempo swing and mishit no if i full swing possibly. Although it should be a rare occurrence if you buy a set of clubs like this. I would suggest 12 handicaps or lower
Why does the industry call it "technology" and not "engineering" or "design"? Drives me nuts... milling, distributing weight, metallurgy etc. are not technological advances. Computer assisted modeling, on the other hand...
you tried this club and it sucks? that is extremely hard to believe - why do you feel this - this is a serious question as I am seriously looking to try these to upgrade from my reverse combo set of weaken lofted 919 Hot Metal Pro / HMB combo set - thanks

I’m so pumped for these!

Your're a Master Chris !!
Kind Regards from México !!
Picked up 923 HMs for this season, loving em so far. Maybe down the road, I'll be good enough to play these 😅
Great review but I have a question, why is the stock shaft now DG 105 versus Modus 120?
Good question
When will the new JPX925 forged Irons come to Europe?
Awesome looking clubs.
What is the main difference between the JPX 923 froged vs the Mizuno 225 Pro irons and were would you place these in a category?????
There’s a pretty good comparison chart on the main site, where you can compare most aspects of both models.

Anyone know what model golf bag is being used in this video?

Does the 923 forged hurt your hands on the mishits?

Where did Boron go?.........

Technology is just the application of scientific knowledge so metallurgy, design and manufacturing are tech.
The word “technology” is used for marketing and it sells

Way way too much to wait we all tried it on the range it’s sucks

@@wallstreetoneil I'm sure the new clubs will be fine. They've made quality irons for decades now
@@wallstreetoneil We can confirm it doesn't suck.
Maybe you should try a more game improvement type iron. You obviously can't hit this one.
