Launched at a price of Rs 3.37 lakh, (ex-showroom, pan-India) by Kinetic-owned Motoroyale, the FB Mondial HPS 300 is a retro-modern motorcycle. Its premium pricing is because of the fact that it enters the country via CKD route, with all the parts sourced from Italy and assembled at Motoroyale’s facility in India. It does not have any direct rivals, but competes against the likes of the BMW G 310 R when it comes to pricing.
The HPS 300 should be easy to manage, thanks to the short seat height of 785mm and an impressive low dry weight of 135kg. It comes with a full-digital instrument cluster and LED indicators and tail light. The headlight, however, is a halogen unit. Powering the motorcycle is a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which pushes out 25.1PS at 9000rpm and 22Nm at 7000rpm, paired with a 6-speed transmission. Suspension duties are handled by upside down front forks and twin rear gas-charged shock absorbers. FB Mondial has equipped it with disc brakes on both ends (280mm front, 220mm rear) with dual-channel ABS. Its spoke wheels are shod with knobbies.

Im surprised, have checked many sites and the 125cc has the same top speed, around 130 km h. The 300 must have better acceleration.
Nice video. You are right there are a lot of other bikes in that price range, even the BMW G310 r. I owned the 310r before it has a bit more power but actually if I am rinding longer distances I rarely ride more than 120 km/h with a naked style bike, too much wind pressure. I agree that the big plus is the very nice desing of the Mondial. No other bike its range has a nice retro design like it. I am thinking of buying the Mondial 300. In general I prefer light bikes with smaller engines (Everything with more than 500 ccm is too heavy for my taste). But they really could have installed a 300 ccm motor like the name suggests, to have a bit more power for acceleration. But the design makes that negative point disappear in my eyes. Do you know what the compression of the motor is? Maybe it can be optimized if it has a low compression. Mostly those chinese engines have a low compression to be able to work well with lower octane gasolines.

I luv d bike but one big thng i noticed at d end is dat the right leg of person sitting backside is very close to the end of silencer, Isn't it a big issue if two ppl r sitting on dis bike? I just want to knw :-)
If you ask me, I would say that this bike is more of a single seater. It's not possible to take a pillion on long rides.
And yes the exhaust is directly firing on to your leg.

ABHI 180 i think it's engine from china zongshen, it's an nc250. In china ,zongshen build the aprilia,hps 125 and pigo scooter

The main factor being that the Mojo is half the price of HPS 300. Both the bikes are similarly powered too.

Dude why there are no sport bikes in india? Im not talking about the 250s thise are shit but the 600s and up those are the real deal. Is it because they are expensive or the regulations limit you?
We have 600+cc bikes but the sales are low due to the fact that it is very expensive here in India..

Once they start to manufacture the bikes here, I expect the prices to drop drastically... Hopefully

For someone of your height I would definitely suggest the GS310 or KTM 390 Adv... BTW I am 6'3 too... GS310 is a comfortable bike and 390 is feature loaded

If not KTM Duke 390 it is or even the Domimar is powerful and comfortable.
In 2020 we got lot of bikes below 5 lakhs... But these definitely stand out in terms of value and features

Nice looking but the engine is weak. 2 stroke 125 has more power and high-speed than this.
That's a silly comparison.
The two stroke 125 will need at least 9L/100 km (vs 3.5)
Moreover it requires constant care and has a pretty short lifespan.
