It's so funny to think of a traveling group, that just hacks every single piece of technology in their way. :D

reminds me of when I went to a convention where they demoed the 3ds, I managed to get back to the main menu, and a bit after, one organizer came to me "hey you, you hacked the 3ds, right?" I was like "fuck, this spells trouble" "well, we wanted to change something, how did you do it?"
(note that it was a simple putting the console to sleep and cancelling, so no leet hacking.)
I just watched the chinese series about ctf competition and got super curious. So i searched and found your vids. I’m just amazed at how you guys do these stuffs. 💪🏻

These guards were just outsourced security guards, likely employed by either building or event management. The emphasis on this CTF competition really shows where China is focused on for the future. Province of Henan, particularly its capital city Zhengzhou, is being positioned as a logistics centre for China due to its strategic location (centrally located, away from oceans or borders). This city is also very rich in history and culture. Awesome video, I enjoyed watching it from Canada. Hope that your team had many yummy pasta dishes in Henan!
How I hackerman: open task manager, close task manager with task manager.

i use the task manager to destroy the task manager
Guards here are common, they're not police, just security - they're not threatening at all - and the x-ray machines are a lot of places, just making sure people aren't bringing in silly things like knives. But glad you enjoyed your time.
278K subscribers.. "Most teams had offsite teams to help, but we didn't have enough people for that".

That was an awesome storytelling experience thank you!
Just last week or so I went to a data science hackathon with my friends. We are only in high school, but there are university students and people from company all over the place in this hackathon. TBH we just know basic loops and functions in Python and didn't actually know anything about ML at the time. Luckily we got a team with other 2 people which have more knowledge than us. However, we still didn't pass into the finals. Overall, it was a pretty fun experience.
I very liked this video and it was very enlightning to see how Chinese province try to promote their provinces as the future hub for Cybersecurity. Keep it up !
Man i would love to know enough about hacking to be on ctf team

Not quite silent, more like only cheer for Chinese teams
Those are security guards, and yeah things in china are crazy with how many security and bag checks there are. In most major cities you have to go through a check line and scanner every single time you take a metro or train.

Could you do a video about those sub-$30 security cameras available on Aliexpress? They use some weird SoC and an app that seems to be doing something weird with Samsung TouchWiz interface.
You seriously need to work on those anonymisation skills ;) Sometimes faces are shown, sometimes not, in one shot the points of teams are erased, then in the last shot they are shown
I know, it's a lot of work! So anyway, thank you very much for sharing your enthusiasm! And 100k thumbs up to have the crowd be more active!

juan bueno well this channel is already a very good starting point, he did some very good playlists go check them.
@Liveoverflow, just a suggestion, but maybe don't mention the fact that your team participated in hacking something on an airplane as it implicates you in endangering the flight and you could get in trouble with aviation safety people. They take this sort of stuff quite serious, even if it was just a monitor. There was a case earlier with a team accessing in-flight network and I believe they almost got sued.
he didn't hack anything on the airplane. he clicked a few buttons of the inflight system and the android hung - it was just a bug in the app. That's absolutely not comparable to accessing the network or plugin other stuff ;)

Where do you learn the skills needed to enter a CTF event , is it learnt over the years of being in industry , im a first year cyber security BCS student looking to learn more in the world of hacking
The best way to learn the skills for CTFs is... Doing CTFs!
Start with some tutorial CTFs, participate in some online ones.
Like everything else, the only way to get better at it is exercise.
Probably google and other CTF events.
I have a video on my channel called "The secret step-by-step guide to learn hacking"
Take a look at www.vulnhub.com/ it has CTFs and solution videos on tap. Also skip down to your local library and look for anything in the "Hacking Exposed" series. Learn to use and love Linux, and install a copy of Kali Linux on an old laptop. BTW - I make no claims, I am just a script kiddie myself.
Googling hacking is a sure fire way to drain your wallet, need to just learn about systems and languages, the “hacking “ part just comes by exploiting other people’s mistakes and inherent weaknesses of a system like PHP for example.. like a structural engineer can look at blueprints and know exactly where the best spots are to place a bomb a programmer can do the same for a system , for the heavy stuff knowing ASM and C is a definite leg up, I would start out with registering for hackthebox.eu it’s a good place to start and you can go through walk throughs from other members on retired boxes
Glad the algorithm showed me this video, really fuckin enjoyed it. Might check out more of your content.
