I was watching very closely until you said sun drop. While active duty coast guard, I would order 40 cases of sun drop for a 40 day patrol. We broke them out for morale pizza nights. Very valuable commodity when there aren’t any Walmart’s in the middle of the Caribbean. Thanks Pete, for the video and a throwback memory of being underway. Keep the green tips flying.
Your lawn, stripes and yard all look so beautiful. My husband has gone to be with the Lord a year ago now my son comes over now and then and helps me as much as possible. He put the lawn striper on the mower and boy does it make it look pretty. I need to stay active now that I am retired. Instead of a "sundrop" to relax though, I usually sit back with a cold cocktail after I am finished. I enjoy working outside. Should live in a warmer climate😌
Thank you for sharing your weekly mowing practices. I understand the peace you find in mowing your yard. The respect you show others is to be commended.
One of my neighbors has a guy mow their yard and he’ll blow the grass off all of their concrete but leave it in the road. Drives me up the wall, but he’s young so hopefully he’ll learn. Thanks for the info Pete!
I think it’s neat how on your drone shots you can see right where everyone else’s septic lines are in their backyard! It must be super dry! Great video!
Great video, Pete! Yes. As much as a well-manicured lawn is appealing and healthy, nothing like stopping and going, "whew!" I heard a preacher once say,"A happy soul is a well-rested soul." How true! Take care, rest well, and God bless! 😁👍
Mowing the lawn is definitely my happy place. I can zone out, and relax. The only thing going through my mind sometimes is mowing a straight line. Great video as always Pete! 💪👍
Looks amazing....stripe every time,,,no rain here in southeast Wisconsin,,keep my lawn at 4in,,and watered,,,neighbors always tell me how amazing it looks....still green ...even in a drought
Nailed it again Pete! This is one vid for the books. Great editing and great vid on basic lawn maintenance! Simple basic respect, for oneself and thy neighbor! I wish i had you as my neighbor brother. Some get it some don't. Thank you Pete for the motivation and God bless you my man. Loved this one.
Pete I love you videos. I think it’s important to remember to tell people to measure the water they are applying. Your video you just put out on that back section may lead people to waste water. Also making sure people know that dormant turf is ok and bringing it in and out is hard on the turf. I think that video really might lead people astray as to why and really how to manage non irrigated turf. How to make decisions etc. Again love what you do! Thank you for it. I have learned so much and have the best yard on the block thanks to you.
What you say is true. It’s just incredibly difficult for me to speak every single last detail about everything in each video. I can’t remember to do all that. Lol. And the videos would be 6 hours long 😂
My biggest mistake that you've taught me is not to mow it to death in the summer. Its ok to let it get a little shaggy, I like to mow but I also need time to do other things too. Great video Pete.
Great video... I definitely needed that advice for the beds. I’m tossing the landscaping fabric this year and cutting live edges. That foam applicator is impressive. We appreciate you man!
Those drone shots are stunning 😍 but when you start to pan over to the neighbors yards 😳 I mean like wow! I would be inquiring to say the least. I'm just saying....🤨
Believe it or not, that’s almost exactly how I do things. I do blow off all of my concrete and pavers after I edge, to get any pine straw or other debris into the turf so I can mulch it up when I mow. So, I use the blower twice.
Hello Pete, how long have you been taming your great looking yard? Your flyovers show your neighbors don't have the same work done as you put in. One more question did your home yard start from sod or seed? Thanks great video
Would love to see a video on dilution rates for nEXT products if you use them. I have a larger yard and at what point is too much for 4 gallons (in my case with a 4 gallon sprayer). Would love your view on that.
I’m editing the perfect video for you right now Brian. I just filmed it today. Should post real soon. It will be titled “ explaining beginner sprayer calibration”
Review the New Ego equipment like the riding lawn mower and the weed eater that turns into a hedge trimmer and everything. They have come along way, but wanna see it at your lawn to see how it compares. I have the carbon fiber 80v weed eater with 1st in the world 🌎 self winding string and its super awesome.
My Bermuda got ate up by billbugs. They ate almost 15 of 30 thousand acres. Bandit, Bifen XTS, and lesco 24-0-11 has got it looking good. I almost have my lawn back. This Bermuda is tough stuff.
Dang i cut yesterday and after watching this i feel like cutting again. Im on my first year of trying to get my 1,500 square foot yard looking good. Im in va i was just telling my neighbor no more weekly cuts for me cause of the heat.
Hey, that’s pretty much my method!… except I don’t have a blower; just a broom -and let the mower suck up the loose stuff and the street sweeper comes later that day or the next.
its interesting how you use yard work as a release from work when that is actually your job. I hate coming home and having to do electrical work since I do it all day. I love doing lawn work to get away from my job too.
What water pump do you suggest if your Spicket pressure is around 50psi...I don’t have the pressure like your well does but I do have 50psi. Any suggestions would be appreciated

What a great view, excellent as always, thanks for all the advice I also have your Cool Blue Seed, so far the best backyard in the whole block, just a little crab grass, any recommendations, Thanks in advance.
Mowing cool season turf tall is the way. Most folks just won't do it. We're in a drought and it really shows when my lawn is the only one on the block with decent color. I don't know why people need short turf, it looks terrible in the summer. The maintenance required to keep short turf green is too much for the average homeowner, which is pretty obvious as I don't see too many green lawns right now.
Why 6-0-0 and not the 12-0-24? I am new to your channel and want to order what is best. IL weather already in the upper 80's - low 90"s with no rain. I lost a lot of yard last year, reseeded and lawn is looking good. Want to make sure and use the correct product.
In regard to reducing mowing, what about the 1\3 rule? Im in vegas it was 109 and 9% humidity friday and the heat is just getting started. It irrigated. I been mowing 2x week. Went up to 3.5 2 weeks ago. Its growth is beginning to slow. After about a week it overgrows the irrigation. If i let it go a week it will go past the 1\3 rule. Tall fescue.
“Me, Jesus and my mower” PETE!!!! Love it!

Love the channel Pete. Its great to see a man praise the Lord and inspire us to do the same.
Absolutely beautiful! It’s a testament to work ethic, passion, and knowledge! Thank you Pete, for sharing. God bless

Grass on concrete angers you? Lol seems kinda weird

Looking strong as always! I have been using my Big League roller for almost a year now and it rocks!

That is an awesome shirt Pete! 🇺🇸
Great video Pete gets me ready for another week of mowing
New sub. That accent and dedication... hoping to take my 4 acres to your level of elite

Looks exceptional my Brother!!!
Great video.....great suggestions for this video. I've never thought about this one!!!
You’re a good man Pete!
Beautiful Lawn & Nice Work BOSS!
Super protection mode 😂
Good strategy. I might give it a try. Third day at 91 and no rain for my kbg. The season started so early this year in 🇨🇦
Love the channel extremely informative! Happy 4th!

Nice job Pete. Just miss the intro. I just love hearing that music bro.💪
Amazing! Such a great job!
Hey Pete, what time of day do you like to mow? I’m assuming you mow when it’s healthiest for the turf.
Very nice shirt 👏👏👏 and yard looks great..
Love u channel bud, the best.
I love to mow too! Bermuda 3/8 every other day.
Wow your lawn is amazing Pete. Thank you for all your lawn care tips. What kind of sprinkler is that.
Pete, you should spray paint baselines and a pitchers mound... that would look sweet!
If you build it.. they will come .lol
Oh man! I’ve got some really cool ideas for it! I can’t wait!!!!
Just amazing
Looking forward to seeing the mini baseball field. I just get the feeling it's gonna be pro standard.
I do the same thing. Just me, my headphones and my mower. I substitute beer and Satan for sundrop and jesus, but we're playing the same game. Cheers!
Love the content
Pete, watch out for UFOs! At about 4:50 a car driving down the road disappeared! 😜
Your yard is greener then all the yards combind around you but it looks very nice
Those drone shots are stunning 😍 but when you start to pan over to the neighbors yards 😳 I mean like wow! I would be inquiring to say the least. I'm just saying....🤨
Beautiful green. Please post a link of the grass paint you use.
14% iron?!? Cant wait!

@@GCITurf Wonderful! Looking forward to it!
Good stuff.
Building a house in Michigan. Going to put a new lawn in, would you lay tall fescue or bluegrass? Sandy/loamy soil not much clay on my property..
Nice video? What do you call the type of sprinkler/irrigator? I need one for my four acres. Thanks!

Hey Pete. You say that you are watering 3 days a week. How long or how much water per each day?
30 minutes per zone each of the 3 days
Long time subscriber.. love what you do with your yard! Quick question, what kind of mower are you using in this video?
Do you have a link for that sprinkler you showed earlier in the vid? Excellent video, as always Pete!! God Bless!
Pete, what brand of sprinkler is that you are using? I like the way it works.
Do you do the same thing with your customers yards? Or do you just mow them on a weekly bases?
Same way at client yards
What kind of sprinkler is that? That thing is awesome
