- Presenting a brief compilation from a full journey from Howrah to Chennai Egmore, aboard the Howrah Tiruchirapalli Express. The compilation includes the train's initial breezy run to Kharagpur, crossing the Rupnarayan river. The subsequent morning features the train's progress past the Eastern Ghats, through the beautiful landscape of northern coastal Seemandhra. Of particular interest are the skippings of the stations of Ankapalle and Samalkot. The prime attraction of course is the crossing of the gigantic Godavari River after Rajamundy, nearly 3 km wide, through the gorgeous rail-cum-road bridge.
The next major point of interest is the crossing of the Krishna river in the afternoon, post Vijayawada. Subsequently, the Itarsi WAM4 keeps up a steady pace through southern coastal Seemandhra, and reaches Chennai well before time.
A number of crossings are recorded in this video: Falaknuma Express, Ispat Express, Samata Express (VSKP WDM3A), Tirupati-Puri Express (AJJ WAP1), Circars Express (WDP1), Amaravati Express (BZA WAM4), Chennai Rajdhani Express (LGD WAP7), Krishna Express (WAP7), Navjeevan Express, Sanghamitra Express (ET WAM4), Chennai Secunderabad Express and Charminar Express.
This is probably the best video you have produced so far - as it brings the beauty and excitement of the whole long journey in a not so long time span. It is much better than watching in parts. Hope you will upload more such compact highlights of the exotic journeys that showcase beauty of the Indian railways.
Just a great one!!! Awesome.
Good video, Thanks. Stations appeared cleaner compared to few years ago. Watching in New Jersey, USA.
Super! When it comes to pure soul, Indian Railways cannot be surpassed.
Nice Videos!! Love it..
However one request, please do capture the Arrival and Departures from the stations, as it is one of the most magical moments of an IR travel.
Much thanks!!
Looks like an old video as Chennai Rajdhani became LHB over two years ago. Video is still excellent and thanks a lot for up loading.
Brilint Capture Brother
Brother, the train for which you mentioned its Samata Express is wrong. First see the train all the General Coaches not even a single sleeper and AC coaches, so mention it correctly. BTW awesome video, I traveled by this train from Howrah to Vizag, very clean and punctual train.
Whole Odisha is missing from the route.
Best post
Hats off to your efforts to cover the entire stretch and not taking rest. But wonder how it was still bright sunshine when the Charminar express passed by as I believe it could be 7pm when your train met it.
This video is very very nice from Snehil from VSKP means Vishakapatnam
Beautiful train trip through the eastern region of India.
Awesome :)..Superb one :)
super
Good videography and the river Godavari is amazing
How do you capture names of Loco shed on the loco when train is moving so fast. One kind suggestion, while recording, wrap some cloth on the microphone of recording device so that breezy sound is not dampened a bit.
3:10 most likely is Rayagada Passenger, not Samata Express.
Really it's best 🚆 to travel from Howrah to Chennai, with few halts
How much late that train was in which you are travelling?
A small correction in one of your captions.... Sullurpeta is not in the proper sense in the suburban zone of Chennai...since Sullurpeta is still in Andhra Pradesh.... not in Tamil Nadu....but.... Gummidipundi....which comes later on this route...and closer to Chennai than Sullurpeta....is in the proper sense in the Chennai suburban zone....and... it’s in Tamil Nadu
Andhara pradesh railway stations 👍
How you know which train passed
Not annavaram its tuni.. Just after thandava river...border town of east godavari and visakha dist..
Bro can you tell does this train run on time?
I am from Guntur AP and I have done the run in many trains between vijayawada and vizag many many times...I live far away in Canada and when I visit India I rarely get the chance to get into a train. I remember some of the spots and stations you have shown very well and I have lived in and around many towns that you have shown. Nice good work well done... thanks for the show it almost feels like I am in the train and am travelling my past rides again. congratulations you did a fantastic job. How do you know the WAP numbers on the engines that haul those trains which you come across ?

3:03 .......that cannot be a Delhi bound train coz all coaches are general and chair car .... More over it has only 10-12 coaches and hence cannot be a long distance train..
You have missed the HWH bound MAS-HWH mail and HWH bound The Coromandal Express. But a great video
Boy! How you KNOW which train passed by? I never come to know because of the speed! Or you look somewhere for that?

aravind lokesh this video is old it was icf at that time
distbe metara Ka vikas train se
I don't understand one thing.... Why do some of the subtitles disappear within 1-2 secs.... You don't even have time to pause the video and read..... I think this is basic common sense which should have been incorporated..... This is poor rendering..... And this is applicable in your videos.... Secondly, in the more recent videos, subtitles should come slightly above to account for pinch zoom.... Again something very common sensical
Kolkata theke Chennai koto kilometer
Poor show with foggy intermissions.you should cut down footage, to save space and time
Jobbor Hoyeche!
too much noice
