As an ex-pat living in Bucharest for the last 12 years, this was a fun watch. But whoever told you that 'running' is the top sport here was winding you up. Football, handball, basketball and rugby are all MUCH more popular here. Running is barely on the radar.

I am from Romania and in fact here football is the most popular sport by far . I don't really know why there are not so many places that sell football shirts...many of the romanian clubs don't have a proper store. Maybe it's the fact that most of the romanians cannot afford to spend 100 euros for a football shirt and also the marketing of the football clubs is not great

Great video, best shirt is definitely the FCSB one especially as you can't find them here. More shirts from the country your in would be amazing to find but I guess easier said than done. Also send half to boots 2 Africa and sell the rest for charity, most likely make more money that way for them in my opinion.

Romanian Liga 1 shirts are expensive as! At least in my opinion they are. I have tried my hand at collecting some shirts from the league and they're expensive, especially the really good ones.
I think they're not mass produced as other more popular teams from better leagues, and in the country the demand isn't really there for it also. Basically there's few shirts for even fewer fans

Many teams from the First League in Romania are clones of real teams. The team from first League is FCSB,not Steaua. The Army won in court against an oligarch that claimed he had Steaua and now he doesnt have the right to the name. The real club Steaua is in the second league and besides football has 18 other sports like handball,basketball,rugby,tennis , judo etc. The real name of the club is CSA Steaua(Army Sporting Club Steaua).

Great episode, might have to pay Romania a visit. My experience with Hungary was that shirts were ruddy expensive from regular shops, even more than here in UK, but have to say I didn't visit any thrift or charity shops.

I've been in a few of the thrift stores which are everywhere in Budapest, you could get some very obscure shirts in those and not too bad price wise

Don’t say it’s impossible, tons of RUclips guys do thrifting, it is harder though only looking for jerseys specifically, maybe you could broaden to gear and other things, or just go out and try new places

As part of the series you should sell the shirts like you normally would. Keep a running total of how much you spent and made from sales then donate the money to charity at the end of series
