You went to Germany but the second worst part of the country. It only could've been worse if you went to Saxony or Thuringia. Come to Bavaria, Berlin or Hamburg the next time.

Love the classic shirts in Germany, they used the best of adidas templates.
Germany is still surprisingly religious so they still have the Sunday off. I had the same problem as you a few years ago, went to an RB Leipzig game, walked back into town and there was just nothing to do for the rest of the day.

Im from Germany and also once where at Strike. It is pretty okay but i wear XXL (2m tall) and in that size the range ist pretty small. But if you wear normal sizes i would recommend it

12:49 You can use the public transport on sundays but have to wait longer that they arive than on week days but yes the town is closed becous were spending time with the family and regenerate a bit for the next work week and some stuff

Quite sorry about your experience in Germany. But you are correct, Sundays in Germany really are a "holy" thing. The only things that are open are Petrol stations and bakeries (those are open until 11 a.m.or so) there really is nothing you can do on a Sunday.
As a Tourist I get that it sucks, it is pretty much a wasted day. But when you live there, it is actually quite nice, you really get a day to relax.

I greatly suggest go to Mexico City to hunt for shirts, football being its most popular sport by far you will be able to find a lot of shirts everywhere plus if you go for a watch a long wait till 2022 so you can watch one of the bigger Classico matches like Classico national or Joven

You should go to poland for Wisla vs Cracovia derby game, there is a lot of thrift shops in Krakow with football shirtz ;p and the derby games are always wild

@@awaydaysfootball i found shirts from grasshoppers fc , Regensburg fc, and other small clubs like that...and i think the Regensburg shirt is match issued because it also had the german cup bagdes etc..
Club shops can often have the largest discounts as they pay least to get the shirts. At one point last season there was 70% off almost everything at Chelsea’s shop.

You should do an episode in Krakow, Poland 🇵🇱 go to the famous krakow derby “holy war” as it’s known, Wisla Krakow vs Cracovia Krakow 🇵🇱⚽️or try get a match worn Podolski shirt if you go watch Gornik Zabrze since he’s playing there this season

I actually don't mind that version of the Dortmund Puma shirt. At least that one has some historical reference with Dortmund wearing "BVB 09" before in the 70's. It's not amazing, but I wouldn't say it's the most offending of the collection.

Got some bad memories concerning that shop in Dortmund. I was 14 and live near Dortmund, but my team is Bayer Leverkusen. I went christmas shopping with my mate's family, who supports Dortmund. Instead of getting a Leverkusen shirt, I ended up with a Dortmund shirt with Metzelder on the back. Yes, the same Metzelder that now got convicted of having child pornography on his laptop. I got annoyed with myself shortly after for not getting a Leverkusen shirt and now I couldn't even wear it anymore at all because of that.

Afaik the reason why everything shuts on a Sunday in Germany is because of the same reason everything used to be shut in Britain on Sundays and now 10-4 on Sundays
