I’m not a shirt collector but I do sometimes see myself wanting to start but here in America I don’t see tons of football shirts. Nike never has any at the outlets (where you went) and my adidas usually does. Last time I went they had replica Germany World Cup shirts, Mexico World Cup shirts, Man United’s neon shirt (ugly), Real Madrids lavender shirt and Atlanta United’s recycled shirt (idk some thing of like recycled plastics into shirts it’s weird). If I ever started shirt collecting I’m 100% looking online. The only kits at regular retail stores here are gonna be Atlanta United shirts and mainly due to the fact Atlanta has maybe the best fan base in MLS. There are actually people at our games and we commonly sell out Mercedes Benz which is maybe 60K+ (it’s hard to know exactly since they do close off the upper decks)
Stopped a Thogden vid to immediately watch this one when it posted 😆 In the US, $90 is for the Replica/Stadium version of the shirt. A Player Spec shirt will go for $120 - $140. If you add a player name set, add another $20 - $30. Adidas has had a lock on MLS since 2005, no sign of that changing anytime soon. Try searching the charity shops. Savers, Goodwill, Salvation Army. There may be others in the Orlando area, dunno. EDIT : Watched to the end, you did find some thrift shops 👍
Went to a Pelé soccer shop at Disneyland a few weeks ago and you’re right, it was a major tourist trap. They had this year’s shirts for a lot of clubs but the prices were marked up to like $150 for each shirt
Toronto and Mississauga with value Village aura other thrift/discount stores are amazing. I live in Toronto and I visit Mississauga quite often and by far the best fines I’ve ever got were from Mississauga, black out 2012 New York Cosmo anniversary Training jacket and retro release of a Peru sweatshirt that I’ve only found one person selling which is over 600(don’t believe it’s that valuable but no one else has it)
Being from Canada, purchasing football shirts not available (retail authentic player cut) here in Canada sucks. Exchange rate, import fees/taxe/shipping and handling will make you question whether to make the purchase again or just buy a fake counterfeit shirt (which I would 100 percent not recommend).
@@RUmlasGenuinely it’s the worst, even bigger stores like sport Chek and Adidas don’t carry them and if they do it’s completely overpriced. Honestly it depends on where you go in the US. It's not the same as in Europe, where every bag of donated clothes has a football shirt. You need to specifically go to Goodwills or thrifts in certain areas with higher hispanic or european immigrant populations. Have to also look at "hype culture" second-hand or vintage shops/fairs. They have no clue how to price stuff. Gotta be much more tactical, but it can totally be done once you find your spots and rhythm.

Hey Ellis mate or anyone in the comments, I bought a mystery shirt and got a team called Snohomish County Football club....it's a team in America in the UPSL division was wondering if anyone knows how much I is as I can't find anything

I'm a football shirt collector that lives in a smaller city in Wisconsin, of all places... I have found dozens of football shirts, scarves, jackets, hats, and other items over the years... but it takes a lot of patience and returning to multiple stores over and over again in order to get those lucky finds. My absolutely best thirft find -- an adult small Arsenal "bruised banana" shirt for $3.
As a football shirt collector in the US, it’s so hard to find shirts and when he said $90 for a football shirt was expensive that’s what I usually pay for all of mine
You've not added the tax on for these shirts, which isn't included in the tag price in the US. So the conversions aren't quite accurate... Some nice finds though, the Pumas shirt is lovely.
Brilliant episode Ellis. Enjoyed that one! Love that Nashville shirt, got a thing for yellow football shirts lol but that Pumas shirt is something else. Decent finds!
Aside from the fact soccer competes with four other major sports, Adidas and Fanatics (fast fashion) have an exclusive deal with MLS so it’s almost always newer items in stores (at full price). If you wanted to find older shirts from around the world there are specialty stores but they are rare and usually in larger cities like NY or LA. Obviously it’s easier and cheaper to find European shirts in Europe. Soccer is considered a premium sport here - even at the youth level it’s “pay-to-play”. Basketball is the closest thing to Soccer in Europe on a community level and it’s still very different.
As someone that lives in the orlando area ive gone through the same thing that Ellis has. Only full priced and recent kits are available and only very few stores have them. But im glad they found Ross, the only place that kits are at good prices and everyday they restock so its always different.
Haha Ross and Burlington have always been my go to places for jerseys here in America. The Nashville jersey, for whatever reason, has been very common lately. Last year in the summer there were a lot of international jerseys.
Ellis if you ever go to New York City. I would highly suggest that you take a trip to Northern New Jersey for discount soccer shirts there are a lot of great places in Newark and around Red Bull Arena. Sidebar, I find it really funny how much Atlanta United stuff you find in the Orlando area considering how big of a rival they are with Orlando.
Never too much in discounted shirts, but here in SoCal, lots of places have football shirts. There in a place near me in Fountain Valley that is all football shirts including lots of old ones. Discounts aren't on the tags, but the owner ALWAYS discounts everything!

As an American fan, it feels impossible to find football (soccer) jerseys below $90 and have yet to find a trustworthy American site, where do people go to find uni’s
Hey Ellis mate or anyone in the comments, I bought a mystery shirt and got a team called Snohomish County Football club....it's a team in America in the UPSL division was wondering if anyone knows how much I is as I can't find anything
Snohomish County is next to Seattle. Being honest I've never heard of the team..
Amateur team
Here in Texas the only jerseys you can find in big supply is club America chivas or other Mexican clubs
That was the Juve fourth shirt, their third is that awful yellow one. TK Maxx in America is TJ Maxx so that’s their version haha.
I go to those outlets every year for Christmas and I never thought to look for shirts. Great video
Our version of TK Maxx is literally TJ Maxx. Like its the same company
Shame you couldn’t find too much, although that was expected considering it’s America. Loved the video though regardless, as well as that Pumas shirt 🔥
How on God's green earth did you manage to find that. And where.
Should’ve went to Los Angeles
As a football shirt collector in the US, it’s so hard to find shirts and when he said $90 for a football shirt was expensive that’s what I usually pay for all of mine
I find that in football shirt videos u think about buying the shirts they get but realise how expensive it is
Should’ve came to los angeles. There’s actually vintage football shirts stores, the thrifts usually have them, and the outlet is filled with them!
Decent finds!
ellis idk how to tell you this but the us version of tk maxx is just called tj maxx 😭
I was the one on Twitter who recommended Ross! 👋🏼👏🏼
Favourite RUclipsr
"Their" version of TK Maxx is simply... TJ Maxx.
Wait uhm you don’t usually pay 90 dollars for a shirt?…
As someone that lives in the orlando area ive gone through the same thing that Ellis has. Only full priced and recent kits are available and only very few stores have them. But im glad they found Ross, the only place that kits are at good prices and everyday they restock so its always different.
Generally speaking, the sport is just exorbitantly priced in this country. Playing, merchandise, tickets, concessions all cost ridiculous money.
Soccer is easy to find in thrift stores but you have to go a lot. I collect stitched football jerseys, your video shows painted I pass on those.
The Pumas shirt is our training top from this season, not the away shirt
Haha Ross and Burlington have always been my go to places for jerseys here in America. The Nashville jersey, for whatever reason, has been very common lately. Last year in the summer there were a lot of international jerseys.
Yep found like 4 of those Nashville jerseys last week
Ellis if you ever go to New York City. I would highly suggest that you take a trip to Northern New Jersey for discount soccer shirts there are a lot of great places in Newark and around Red Bull Arena.
Sidebar, I find it really funny how much Atlanta United stuff you find in the Orlando area considering how big of a rival they are with Orlando.
Do you know the names of the stores?
Way to go Ellis! That NSC kit is a bargain! That's my hometown team and we can't even get that kit that cheap here.
8,50 in the right corner is that Berckamp shirt or not?
Lovely seeing you wearing a Kaizer Chiefs jersey in Orlando and Orlando Pirates happens to be their main rival here in South Africa 🇿🇦
You should go to Mexico football is big over there
Never too much in discounted shirts, but here in SoCal, lots of places have football shirts. There in a place near me in Fountain Valley that is all football shirts including lots of old ones. Discounts aren't on the tags, but the owner ALWAYS discounts everything!
Love you showing America some love from an American. Your videos are always class, and I’d love to see football become a more popular sport over here. Thanks Ellis!
Love the vid. I'm from atlanta and recently lost some weight so my ATL jerseys don't fit anymore so i would love to get that XL. Much love from america
