That’s my family! ❤️ They are the best, and they really needed the gift at that time. So grateful for those who nominated them!
Ps. We don’t take the haters seriously. It’s easy to laugh at the negative comments when they are faaaar off base. Be slow to judge. I know sometimes you want people to have a certain reaction, but they are not you. Also, brain aneurysms are rough.

It is so easy to be critical of others when you hide behind a keyboard and a screen in a hidden location. Look at yourself before you judge others. Large families were common when I was young. With so many broken homes and kids being neglected these people need to be congratulated on sticking together and working through their troubles. They should be respected. God bless them and I hope their holidays were good.

All the comments about affording to feed a large family - first of all, as the oldest of 8, I know for a fact that it does not take $100 per person per month. There were times where all of us were fed on $400 a month. Potatoes, rice, pasta, beans, and lentils are best friends. No frivolous things like candy, chips, soda or bottled drinks, snacks, etc. Make everything from scratch at home including bread. It can be done. With lots of children, clothes from the older ones become hand-me-downs. No shame in that. Other stuff is thrifted or picked up at swap shops or from cousins or whatever. There are ways. Secondly, no one has a right to judge someone's financial situation, or ability or lack thereof to feed the children. They all look healthy and happy so clearly they have made it work. However, that gift will help ease their burden for a month or two, or maybe they'll be able to do a small getaway or something that will take the stress off of them. Either way...BE HAPPY FOR THEM! Don't be a scrooge. It's not worth it. Large families are beautiful

These videos never ever get old. I really wish someone could do one for someone I think deserves something so simple. My husband, my husband has been there since late 2014 for me even before we started dating May of 2015. When we first started dating He was ALWAYS there for me, he dropped randomly and drove 45 minutes to meet at work at my local cvs. When he met me first time that night I had another migraine that was getting worse even with my medicine to try and Eliminate it. That night he brought me home just to drive back after seeing for 30 minutes. We got close after that our first date was 5/8/15 and I almost didn’t go because once again I had another migraine. Fast forward to 7/23/15 we got married. People said all kinds of mean things and tried to get us out of it. Not even 2 weeks later we woke to me not being able to move my legs and not knowing how to walk. I tried and tried and each time I fell. What did he do carry me to the bathroom and carried me back. He did his research and found a doctor in Boston to get me tested. And sure enough he would hold my hand thru all of this. Wasn’t easy at all. I was getting worse by the day and appt. He was always there even at 2:30am he was there helping me or his mother that lost both legs to diabetes in the 90s. He was there when my neurologist suggested disability because I will get worse before better. And that sure was true! My husband left his job of 11 years to help me get me my ssdi. We were driving 45 plus minutes 4 times a week in Boston. He didn’t complain once. He was amazing. He was even there when I was diagnosed with a rare form of a brain disorder and rare form of epilepsy. Thankfully I granted with his help and support my Ssdi 1st time and no lawyer. I was told be prepared for a rejection first time. Fast forward to this year 2020 the crazy year yet, hearing the words I may have cancer of all thing. He lost his recent job over something little (not theft) And during all of this He has never left my side in any of this. I wish I could show him how amazing he was but Idk how. He keeps talking about Xbox series s but no luck. People are buying all of them because it’s online only and putting them up for $1,500 or more and it’s only $300. I know I get Ssdi but it wouldn’t cover the rest of what we had to pay for that month. His name is Cory Ripp and we are Massachusetts. I’m not sure why I put this down but maybe luck with strike!? Covid has hurt so many and we lost so many. Idk God bless who ever reads I pray your health and good fortune 😘😘

Many people don't understand big families because they have never been around any. Having grown up in a large family, and enjoyed it, I can tell you that you live differently than the 'norm.' My dad had a good job that provided insurance for the family. Those of us that wanted college learned to work and pay for it ourselves. I did not get my own phone till I got engaged, but I didn't need it because I could call my friends on the landline and I took my mom's cell if I went somewhere. Hair and nail salon visits were unheard of, but we learned to do all that ourselves. You learn to get along with others, respect other's views that differ from yours, work together, and get along without all the bells and whistles that the "American Dream" says you should have. I wish there were more big families.
As for their dad, my husband is very sweet and caring, but he would not know how to accept such a gift from others. He is a giver, not a taker. Notice, this dad was not trying to get on TV and beg for money from others. This dad is probably so used to giving to his family and others that he doesn't know how to receive such a gift. My husband would probably have responded the same way, just for that reason alone. Some people just don't know how to accept large gifts, but please don't insult his intelligence.

I never said it did. I just know a number of big families and this seems to be the norm with them as well. There are always exceptions, everyone is different, but it seems to be a saying among people that you can have either children or things.

@@hilaryc3203 how are they working at 14 and 15 legally? Most states dont allow you to legally get a job until you're 16 because there are child labor laws

    • @hilaryc3203
      @hilaryc3203 3 года назад +1

@@hallmarkaddict8455 Well, for a start, I'm not an American. In Canada, we have strong employment laws which are rigidly adhered to and kids are permitted to work a certain amount of hours a week. Child employment gives spending money, an opportunity for them to save up and buy their first car or techi toys. Kids need the opportunity to learn about the working world and earn. It's completely legal up here simply because we do have strong legislation to protect kids.
In fact in high school where I am, in order to graduate, they have to have worked so many hours for a business in the community. The schools set up job hours for them with businesses. This is a program to help kids build their resume, learn to be responsible and gain a greater understanding of the working world.
To help you understand our system: Employers need written consent from a parent or guardian. Children who are 12 to 14 years old cannot:
Be required to work during school hours
Work more than four hours on school days
Work more than seven hours on a non-school day
Work more than 20 hours during a week with five school days
Work more than 35 hours a week when school is not in session
Employees who are 12 to 14 years old must always be under the direct and immediate supervision of an adult. Parents or guardians need to make sure the child's employment is in their best interests. They need to:
Protect the child from work that could be unsafe, interrupt their education or harm their development
Make sure the child understands what's expected of them
Make sure the child can do the job
Act as a liaison between their child and other workers
Once a child turns 15, employers must follow the employment standards Act for regular employees.
