My hotel had an extra login screen that you have to open the browser to sign into. With the Xbox you can't open the browser till you are connected. After doing this it didn't work immediately, but upon clicking the button to check my internet status again it prompted me that additional authorization was required. So for some hotels you have to do a little more, but I still wouldn't have been able to connect without first following your guide. Thanks man.

P.O.P Entertainment What you're essentially doing is telling the WiFi that your Xbox is your phone. if both your phone and your Xbox are connected to the WiFi, it will boot you both and you'll have to restart the process
Is it ok to turn the wifi on your phone back on once its in on your xbox or when you use it you need to keep it off all the time then turn it on only when your done ?
make sure your wifi is off you cant use your wifi on your phone while doing this just put in the mac address make sure your ip and everything is on automatic
Turn your wifi off on your phone put in the mac address but first put the top 2 options above the mac address on automatic then put the mac adress in it should restart your Xbox and keep your wifi on your phone off if that doesn't work you can try and put the mac address from a lap top if you have one

ive tried it it works, but if you jsut talk to the staff they can allow your xboxs origninal mac code thereby allowing online play
