Unless you are getting the Canadian Civic Si, it is better to get the Jetta GLI to be honest. They omitted too many features to make space for upcoming integra.
Awesome car. Too bad in order to get the truly FULLY loaded SI you have to go to Canada. Honda is only selling the fully loaded Si only in Canada for some reason. Factory fog lights and a couple more options only Canadian Si's have.

Since the fake noise is mostly in the sport setting, can you just use individual mode and select most of the presets from sport ? Would that eliminate the fake sound or at least make it sound like in normal mode but with full throttle response etc ?

I have one in Sonic grey. It’s fun to drive and my first manual car. I love it
Not sure why I'm watching this since I picked up mine 3 days ago... LOL, great POV regardless!
what'd you pay for it?
@@jackmcinnis4510 I'm in Canada and I paid MSRP plus 279$ theft insurance
@@Wilsonever if only it was like that in the us, everything is marked up $10k or more
@@jackmcinnis4510 My mom recently bought a 2022 RAV4 that was worth 31k but we paid a 5k markup
how did you get your hands on one? i have been trying to find one around my area for months now but because of the chip shortage there’s none around. this car looks amazing.
Sucks they don’t have the coupe anymore.
Dude that touch screen took 30 seconds to come on lol. Ridiculous.
Man if this car got rid of the rev hang and it were faster, I’d really be thinking hard about it. It’s nice!
Tune it make it faster and eliminate the rev hang
Put $1000 in it and you can solve both of those issues
The 2020 civic si 2 door looked the best, aggressive spoiler and less family car looking
Unless you are getting the Canadian Civic Si, it is better to get the Jetta GLI to be honest. They omitted too many features to make space for upcoming integra.
My only complaint is you have to get a Touring or a Sport Touring to get a damn sunglass holder. The SI won't get one either. Why?!
This might be my backup if the Integra costs too much (with markup).
Awesome car. Too bad in order to get the truly FULLY loaded SI you have to go to Canada. Honda is only selling the fully loaded Si only in Canada for some reason. Factory fog lights and a couple more options only Canadian Si's have.
Yeah it is kind of lame. I hope the type r doesnt get the same treatment because i am going to be trading in my ‘18 type r for the 2023 whenever it goes on sale.
It’s always been like this tho Canadian cars are much better equipped same with other brands too.
They’ve been doing this since the 07 si 🤣 Canada gets everything better then us when it comes to Honda
beautiful car n beautiful review love the content keep it up bro
I love my new Honda Civic 22SI. But the fact that Honda puts so many more options in the Canada version is mind blowing to me. What's up with that. Just build the car with all the options and sell it the same in Canada in the USA.hello Honda!!!!!!!
I'm debating between the Si vs the Sport touring hatchback. Kinda wish Honda released a hatch version too
I prefer when my shifter is cold rather than burning hot during the summer 😆 (driving a 10th gen). Just signed for a 11th gen today ! I'll have to wait till August but got a good deal on it.
engine sound is pretty impressive
I still prefer the last generation. My 2019 looks like something a young person would drive. The new one looks like I have 4 kids that are in middle school and I listen to Third Day
This new one feels like it has more class in my opinion, but it would've been nice to get a coupe, at least there's no more hdmi exhaust
If that’s the case then the new one is the car for me lol
Dare I say it but the 2016-2021 looks more modern. Tech wise this one has an edge.
This car isn’t for me, if I had to get a new car I’d pick the Mazda 3
2019 looks disgusting.
Since the fake noise is mostly in the sport setting, can you just use individual mode and select most of the presets from sport ? Would that eliminate the fake sound or at least make it sound like in normal mode but with full throttle response etc ?
Watching this video was like playing need for speed underground
You know how to please Topher, I was just thinking about this vehicle today.
Question how is the ride quality? Is it comfortable enough for long distance and can it handle imperfections on the road?
At highway speeds the ride smoothes out a lot, but it's on the stiffer side around town.
@@TheTopher thank you I appreciate it. I’m stuck between this or getting an MK7.5 GTI (if prices can stop going up)
I really love how that Honda shifts but I don’t want to have too stiff of a ride. I live in PA and the roads are hot garbage.
he mentions this in the video.
@@TheTopher Is the suspension softer than the Veloster N?
@@TheSpaceyJacey a seesaw rides better than a veloster N
Night drive seemed cooler than the day drive.
This car looks like a fun car to drive seem like it's very nimble to toss around corners
I love it! The color is pretty 😍
Night drives are the best !
Wow that color actually looks nice on the civic!
How is the road noise on the highway compared to the BRZ? I loved my BRZ but wow it was loud on a road trip haha
If you can I’d appreciate you doing one with the new gr 86!
yeah these are my 2 options too. after having a 2022 lx and being impressed with the chassis on the base model, the si seems like the better choice. but rwd on the brz is def making it hard
Cool vid. I just said goodbye to my dear ole 04 Acura TSX 6 speed and I don't see many sedan options that compare to its size and driving fun but this looks like a great option and since they're both Honda products I'm sure I'd adapt easily to the SI. My only concern is the reliability of that small displacement turbo. Any idea on the data of its long-term performance? TIA.
If the new Integra drives and handles like this car I’m buying it. I’ve been holding off on buying a car because I want to see what the new Integra is all about. I could get the Civic Si but I prefer the added features and the mature look of the new Integra.
I think the si looks more mature than the Integra. The Integra looks like... idk....
I don’t like the look of the Integra st all. Id rather the SI or the Type R if its priced the same
Red cloth buckets that look like something out of a 70s Camaro? I'm waiting for the Integra.
You’re an excellent reviewer. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Oh hell yeah that rev limit is badass !!
Im surprised the Gen 11 Si doesnt have dual zone climate control or heated seats. I have the Gen 10 and it had those features
Let’s see how the Integra improves on this.
8:55 - Guy in the Caravan over compensating as he passes the Si that's doing 79 like it's standing still.
Thanks for this night drive! Do you know what the yellow light is by the odometer 👀🤔
Interested in your comparison/review of the Elantra N to this Civic Si.
The only thing from stopping me pulling the trigger on one of these is the idle-stop feature. Is there a way to permanently disable it?
Just curious. Have you tried stalling the car the first time u drive it?
Is the artificial engine noise a recording? How is coming through the speakers, and if you turn down the volume on the stereo, does it go away? Just curious how it works
Dose that thing not bounce you around in 1st and 2nd gear when you let off the throttle?
I love this man
