- Checking internal engine components can be a real pain without a borescope. Taking the next leap, the Milwaukee 3150-20 M12 Mechanics Borescope offers several features not seen on other borescopes. You get a camera on the end of the scope (typical), and you get a second camera on the side of the scope. Dual LED lights also light up your viewing area. Record 720p pictures and videos on the included 32GB Micro-SD card.

The older version of this literally saved my 6.0... A bolt fell into the block and this was the only tool that could find it.
Tim, thanks for the in-depth review on this piece. It's awesome for sure but the only thing it lacks articulation so there's no way to get a good view of the valves in a cylinder to avoid pulling a head for inspection., Yeah leak down and compression tester is an option but it's quicker to simply pul a plug and fish a camera down for a peek. There's a teslong articulated offering that does BUT that thing has mixed reviews which has prevented us from grabbing one of those. Hopefully the big red army offers an articulating unit in the future as that would be sweet since we're heavily invested in Milwaukee already. Cheers!
Your videos are costing me alot of money! Its ok
It looks like it's good for checking hemorrhoids.
😂
Hey TJ! As always another great review! I love the heat sense feature as I’ve actually lost a camera to unknown excessive heat. Additionally unlike most of the cheap scopes out there, this appears to have excellent image quality. Sadly I believe that’s where the main pros end. The first con is the arrangement of the side view camera and light is such that right as the camera is high enough to see the combustion chamber, the light is masked by the spark plug/injector hole. This can be overcome by having an articulating camera head but sadly that’s where the second con comes in. It does not have an articulating head. If Milwaukee comes out with a bore scope with the same 5mm diameter head that articulates or at least repositions the side view camera/light arrangement, then I’d be interested.
720p. If this was 2008 I’d be stoked
i hope that yall will do a comparison of these tools i have 2 snapons and neither one has a really good view
Saludos desde México
why is it so short? only 3ft
Cool!
I HAVE SEEN BETTER FOR LESS ,,,,,, DON'T GET ME WRONG I LOVE MILWAUKEE BUT THE CAMERA DOES NOT ARTICULATE AND THE PRICE IF YOU WHERE GOING TO BUY IT JUST TO HAVE A CAMERA IS WHY TO HIGH . SO I THINK THIS ONE IS GOING TO BE A FLOP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kinda OVER PRICED .
Only Milwaukee can do
I'm late. Not 1st this time
Wow what garbage i just bought a endoscope with 16 feet of cable dual camera adjustable lighting 2 or 3 x zoom and i can do a hell of lot more with mine that plugs into phone and for under 30 bucks.
All these tool companies take advantage of suckers that like to waste money
