Hi everyone! Today we return to a Zelda classic... My original harp cover of Zelda's Lullaby on pedal harp was the third video I ever made! (You can find it here if you want: • Zelda's Lullaby - Harp... )
A few months ago I was working on publishing the sheet music for that arrangement, and I wanted to make a lever harp version that was accessible to more harpists; and heck, even I've been requested to play Zelda's Lullaby at outdoor events where I bring my lever harp, so it was useful for me too!

Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy this new celtic harp version of Zelda's Lullaby. A few months ago I was working on publishing the sheet music for my old arrangement, and I wanted to make a lever harp version that was accessible to more harpists. Zelda's Lullaby has a lot of chords that need lever changes, so figuring out how to make that work was a bit of a challenge because I didn't want to change any of the harmonies, and I'm pretty happy with the result!

@@stewartmatthews1551 Probably one of my favourite memories is playing with my sister - I was too chicken to fight the monsters in ocarina of time when we first got the game, so I would watch my sister play and "help with strategy" in boss fights :)
You're an incredible musician Samantha. And very considerate to do an accessible lever harp version. That instrument sounds really good, by the way. Very bright and distinctive. Is it carbon fibre?
@@gigabyte2248 Thank you! It's really important to me to try and give back to the harp community with sheet music when I can. And yes, this harp is made of carbon fibre! It sounds great and it's super light too!

Ah, navigating the guards in the Hyrule Castle gardens to meet Zelda, this just takes me right back to it. What a mix of calming but heart-warming nostalgia.

I'm 68 years old now but I still play it through with my grandson oh yeah by the way he's 23. Lol!

I recently started learning violin (by “recently,” I mean I know zilch 🤣 I haven’t even had my first lesson), and I have been addicted to watching so many videos of Zelda song covers on more “orchestra” style instruments

What serendipitous coincidence that I felt compelled to dust off my 3DS and start up a new save file in the game yesterday as well!
