The news this week has been about two brutally horrendous wars, the uncontrolled drugs and violent crime problem going on coast-to-coast here in America. Just as I was about to lose all hope for humanity, Noraly posted the absolute BEST video that she has ever produced. The beauty of Indian food, culture, country, religion, and the people themselves leads me to think that India holds the secret to happiness that we’re all craving right now. You showed me places and people and a lovely culture that I didn’t know existed, and I’m extremely grateful for it. I have nothing but love for Noraly, her fans, and most of all, our Indian friends.
I agree with you. It's so depressing and distressing to watch the news, and I said to my hubby that watching Itchy Boots lifts my spirits. If only people could all be as hospitable and friendly throughout the entire world. No wars, no hate, just peace and love toward everyone.
@@shivanshsingh7593 You are right. I agree with you. However, this love for money is mostly prevalent in the cities, big towns and suburbs. As an American, I have traveled to India and stumbled on to , just as you, a wedding parade, in Delhi, what a show of love. The parade had camels and elephants, all brightly colored, and the groom rode in on a white horse. The bride was in a limo. I was able to pet one of the elephants on the street with complete confidence after it sniffed me with it's trunk. Fantastic India.
My India is no where near perfect, it has its flaws but the beautiful things we have are worth celebrating for. This episode was so beautiful. Thanks Noraly.
india is very much perfect . only some places r bit dirty old and disorganised otherwise 90% is perfect . no country in this world is no where near perfect . atleast india has a big heart which helps other countries without any condition during crisis which u cant find in other so called developed countries . and this generous liberal quality with fast economic development will make bharat a "viswaguru" very soon . jai hind 🙏 thank u 🙏

What a stunning part of India, and so refreshing not to see endless CVS, Walgreens, Taco Bell, Burger King, 7-11, Dunkin' Donuts, MacDonalds, KFC, Chipotle, Trader Joe's, Wal Mart, Target, Five Guys Burgers & T.J. Maxx stores every quarter of a mile. The wedding scene was beyond stunning and the people are so magnanimous, it reminds us how wonderful the world can be.
A perfect example of one of the things that makes Itchy Boots such an exceptional traveller/film maker....her willingness to alter her plans at the drop of a hat to experience new things and capture amazing footage. Pretty sure attending a wedding wasn't on the agenda when she left in the morning!

Watching the video for the second time made me cry. . . I wish everyone in this World were so kind like these villagers🥺🥹♥️ no fight for land, no fight in the name of religion, no division just pure love and peace♥️♥️♥️
It's important to remind us that humanity can be generous, kind, loving, when we are faced with so many images of the worst humanity has to offer. May we hold onto what we can be in.
I'll never complain again when told that I have to wear a tie to a wedding. I hope this couple can see this vlog . They probably didn't realize that their wedding would be viewed by several million people around the world.😄 That day via you the whole world became part of their village. Wonderful people. Wow! You were invited to a wedding! Fantastic! Extremely interesting! Here, in the Western World, the United States, inviting a stranger to a wedding is unheard of! The money throwing part made me smile. They were having so much fun. Something they will never forget (most of them looked quite young). The men spoke Snglish incredibly well! Congratulations to the bride and groom! An honour to be a guest on such an auspicious occasion. Their beautiful and colourful traditional dress contrasted so perfectly to the desolate yet magnificent mountainous terrain. Fantastic video Noraly!
1.4 billion people live in India. There are so many subcultures within it. Even Indians don't know other Indian cultures. I am from Western India, and seeing the wedding ceremony was really facinating.
I'm from Serbia, and I can say that this resembles a lot of Serbian weddings 🙂. In rural areas it is not uncommon that the people meet a random person in the street and just be like: "Hey, my son/daughter is getting married on Sunday, would you like to come?". In the town from which I come from, there are also a couple of persons with big notebooks, who record which guest/family brought what present (or how much money). We also have a custom that the best man comes out of the church after the wedding, starts throwing money, and the kids start gathering it. And we also drink a lot 🤣. Awesome video, I really enjoyed watching it. Keep 'em coming! 🙂🏍
But the Origin of this Money Throwing Tradition comes from Bollywood. In our ancient culture its disrespectful to throw Books and Money on ground like that.....
Same in every indian Village wedding. We also throw coins and children collect also we make chains of multiple currency of 500 rupees which are worn by the groom
@@arpanabinaswar1811are you aware? It's an ancient Indian tradition especially in North India not Bollywood things. In Bihar it's practiced for thousands of years

Ladakh is the most adventurous place in my country India. The reception of those who live higher is also higher. Even among the barren mountains, a colorful culture lives. Those who invited you to the wedding were very kind. Indeed, those people are very strong people, that's why they know how to live very well even in such difficult conditions. I live in India, but saw a Ladakhi wedding for the first time. Thank you very much Nurali
Being invited to the wedding was so touching. In my country, in years gone by, anyone could have attended an Indian wedding and be fed and treated with courtesy. Thank you Noraly, for the scenery, the music, and your adventures. Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
I've traveled quite a bit. Residents of all villages in non-rich countries are like this. They are genuinely happy to see the guest and will do everything to make the guest feel good. This is wonderful and touching! P.S. When a villager says, “It's completely organic,” I can't help but smile.
Who said to you india is a non rich country? , in equality exists which makes us beleive its a poor nation but let me tell it indeed has immense wealth, it just has to distribute it equally . In conclusion its a rich country with poor people although poverty has reduced from 55% to 19% within a decade
As the saying goes: "The adventure begins when things don't go as planned"....and Noraly stumbles upon and is invited to a wedding! And the scenery was so amazing I shut down my computer and put it up on the big screen TV. Norlay said it best: "To me this is adventure riding at its core." Truly epic.

Btw they are constructing a 13.5 km long tunnel called Shinku La tunnel, expected to be complete by 2025, to alleviate the issue of connectivity with Zanskar Valley during winters when the roads are blocked for 6 months due to snow.
Most of us Indians are just orally patriotic but Ladakhi and Arunanchalis are practically patriotic. They really serve the country, honest and help our army in every difficulties even though their own have many challenges ❤
@@shivanshsingh7593 as a Bengali who has visited Arunachal, I can attest to their patriotism. Even during the indo China war, women of the Monpa tribe took to the posts when our soldiers fell and fired upon the PLA. They fought till their last breath, made Hindi an official state language to be more connected with India as they proclaimed themselves as Indians and not Chinese. But unfortunately mainland Indians call them Chinese or Chinki when they go to the mainland cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Chennai.
I am stunned by the beauty of Zanskar! "Beauty" is putting it mildly, and it will live in my visual memory for a long time without even setting foot there. That would be my favorite day ! 😊 you are lucky……also.

That wedding ceremony was out of this world, such a different culture within one country. Great work Nori.❤
Nepali & Indian wedding culture
1.4 billion people live in India. There are so many subcultures within it. Even Indians don't know other Indian cultures. I am from Western India, and seeing the wedding ceremony
was really facinating.
Кум није дугме!
