Indian architecture is a Broad term.
The Shiva temple stone architecture is called "Nagara Style" commonly used in Northern India, similarly southern Indian stone Temple architecture is called "Dravida Style", and the combination of these 2 is called "Vesara Style". These 3 are the main stone temple architecture of India, there are many using wood as well, it depends on the geography of the place.
Most of these stone architectures are assembled like a jigsaw puzzle so to undo them you have to remove the stone in order (last one first out).
Recently Immigrant Hindus of America made the 2nd largest temple outside India in New Jersey USA using the same Nagara style Architecture, the stones were hand carved in India and shipped to the USA and assembled like a jigsaw puzzle.

Likes of Amir and Salman use it for PR and a business both.. The same Amir Khan had left the village that shot Pippli live without paying huge electricity bill. Leading to cutting off the village electricity few months later. It was in the news how the poor village ended up suffering from a movie shoot that en-cashed their misery.
