    Not to forget that the Voicemeeter also has a built in EQ for both Input and Output in which you can adjust even more and fix certain unwanted frequencies or boost some.

    Also general rule: you don’t need the mic kissing your lips like the user is doing. Every pop (known as plosives) from the air generated from pronouncing P’s and B’s will literally punch the cardioid portion of the mic. If you have a pop filter on and that still doesn’t work as you think it should, place a fist between your chin and the filter, then have the distance applied between the filter and mic. Adjust as necessary.
    If you are compressing your audio or using limiters, these pops are going to be the loudest thing being recorded and will ruin audio levels, eq and more…causing more audio issues.
    High quality headphones amplify these punches too - literally punching the user’s ear drums. You want a clear as possible, even sound, to keep the listener engaged rather than the audio distracting and pushing users away.

      Also depends on the type of mic you have, dynamic or condenser. But yeah, he has a condenser mic, doesn’t need to be that close.

    In regards to gates and compression - right click the sound meters and type -3. This will apply a LIMITER of 3db lower of 0db, which tries to act as a wall and restricts the output from being louder. Keep in mind that the more you limit the output, other frequencies become louder and will become a distraction.

    I really need some help..
    I use the Quadcast S and I'm streaming on Twitch (with streamlabs OBS), whenever I stream I notice that the click noises of my mouse and keyboard is kinda loud. Or at least noticeable
    What can I do to fix that? Is there a way to filter keyboard and mouse clicking? I'm not using a mechanical keyboard and my mouse is kinda quiet so it's not like the noises are TOO loud, just that its sometimes activating the mic and it's in the background of my voice when im talking at the same time.
    I would really appreciate some help with this, I'm a total noob when it comes to this! :D

      I bought this mic very recently too and it’s too loud for me to use. Others report the same extreme loudness issues on Reddit. It’s giving me a headache to listen through. Moving my Windows volume slider down to 20 is still too loud for me. The playback through it when you have your headphones plugged into the back is horrifically loud. Are you having that issue too?

    decided to try this since i was already using banana for splitting my audio. i'm also running a quadcast so i just copied your settings, however my mic sounds so much worse than yours. everytime i speak its picking up my pc fans and mouse clicks which are both literally so quiet and that's with my quadcast at the lowest sens too. i played around with the settings after, tried higher gate and lower comp and although it obviously does sound better than the stock mic, i just can't get it to sound anywhere near as crisp as yours. would love some advise/tips

      @@lyssial sadly, i wasn’t able to make my mic sound anywhere near his, quality wise. but for your specific issue, you should be fine if u run your mic through NVIDIA Broadcast and then into VoiceMeter. just select ur mic in NVBC, turn on noise removal and set to desired threshold (i just use max) and then select NVBC in Voicemeter, not your microphone.

      To get rid of the p's nad b's you can use good old pop filter. If the tounge/lip sounds are too loud then you can just move your mouth bit further away from mick (then increase input signal or simply speaking louder may be requierd). Cheers

    You and I have the exact same microphone and I followed every step, only that mine picks up everything, my keyboard, mouse clicks, anything and everything. Also there is an insane amount of white noise in background whenever the mic is activated and I don't know how to get rid of it. Honestly it sounds like shit and idk what to do about it. Can you please help me fix this??

    Hey dude the thing is like whenever i speak it has my voice and a lot of wind noise, then it dies down from noise gate then it's silent. if you have discord please tell me so i can show you (i'm also using the quadcast)

    • @BigWeas
      @BigWeas  4 года назад +2

      This could come from your compression being too high or there’s too much background noise in your room. Either way, I suggest using nvidia rtx voice if you have an nvidia rtx card

    Just don't install if you don't want it on your PC forever. There's no way to officially uninstall it. It will always sit in your pc until you format your HHD/SSD. Not only that, but every time I boot it up it turns off my anti-malware software.
