Burning, yul was too much they kept making yul the comic relief character. idk why, but i always felt bad seeing him get hurt hes ny fav and grett went too far. i still like her, tho 😊
Damn, we might disagree here. I actually like this episode alot, like top 5 from this season. Yeah Im surprised myself. Granted I get it. If you had high expectations for the Motel Episode, you aren't gonna like this episode at all. And on some level, I was too. Now when I set my expectations to meeting it where it is, I wound up enjoying this episode a decent bit and I while I was bummed that certain characters didn't get screen time, Im mostly fine with the results here. I dont mind Miriam and Connor together here. Her being that push for Connor to close that door on his issues with his worth, middle age, and Riya is admirable. Miriam is still a top 10 character for a reason. Despite everything she's been through, she still sees the best in people and is willing to help then in their issues. You'd think she get her "grandsons" in check, but different conversation. Also I do think Miriam not mentioning Jake was odd, but I do think when James was bad mouthing Jake, she stepped in for a reason. Don't mess with Grandma Miriam. Speaking of Jake, let's talk about Tom. Im kinda okay with him getting the screen time he did. See as much as people don't about Jake or Tom or with them each other. One of my predictions was they had to wrap up Tom's perspective of the story to get us to that point. And we learn alot how distant from his family and losing his first job, indirectly due to Jake, but mostly thanks to Grett. And the failures are only evident in his scars and insecurities to be a better person or to show off his skills, how stupid and much of being an asshole. So Jake has a massive impact on his life whether we want to admit it or not. He was the anchor that helped Tom through that stress and depravity, in a parallel way Tom helped Jake through his issues and being that ear. So Tom being vulnerable and letting his guard down to love Jake and by extension find his true personality is the crux of his arc. So I do like how they handled that scene with Aiden acting as a nice counterpoint with his relationship towards James in S2 and where they are now - I live for TomAiden. Tom being honest and open was a nice view into the character and it made me like him more. Although the scene with the girls at dinner, giving a little bit too much schoolgirl vibes if you know 😅 Speaking of relationship melodrama, we have Hunter, Ally, and Tess. It was handled beautifully too. Tess and Hunter are really friendship goals. They may or may not like each other, but thet have good chemistry and I like how great of a friend Tess is. She knows Hunter and Ally are good people, but the lack of communication and understanding is at the root of their relationship. Hunter, through all of his faults, is a good boyfriend and he genuinely love Ally, but their is a deeper complexity that needs to be examined by the finale. Their a great trio and I wish they had more screentime in the season even as Ally is now focused on actually winning the game. Similar to Tom and Jake, I wouldn't mind if Hunter or Ally remain great friends, the chemistry is really much there. Being in a romance can complicate things - I would know. Now onto the healthy stuff, Gabby, Grett, and Ellie, flawless. Love all three of them together. Love the redemption given to Ellie. I also thought that this trio would help Riya, but Im satisfied either way, I just love Gabbie and Ellie as it is as a couple and being able to just love each other without any more complications, they really balance each other out. Fiore - MVP. Love her and her interactions with Alec and possibly Connor. Love it. James & Yul... Okay I actually didn't mind it. I don't mind feeling bad abour Yul going through that grill incident. In my opinion he deserves worse, but Im glad the writers gave a one-dimensional character more complexity behind his asshole behavior. He had to hit rock bottom to find the error in his ways and I dont mind James being that one person to see it. It only takes one person to believe in you to make a change and sometimes it might be you alone. Yes I know James should get a side eye for it especially how he is bickering with Jake, but considering how inconsistent and frustrating he can be, Im atleast glad James is putting Jake through the ringer. Not everyone deserves a second chance, not everyone will like you, and not everyone will be that support, focus on you and make the change in yourself. Regardless, the helpers are really cool in their juxtapositions with the main competitors so I have hope they'll end off strong. Best episode since Episode 13, no complaints. Also Silly Billy is cheering Nina is finally a demon. Hell yes.
True, although I did not like his character journey at all... Also, I think I pretty much just like him in small doses, had he been more present this season, I still would have hated him with a passion as I did with his S2 self xD
I am finally glad that SOMEONE actually took the time to tell him "Dude asking like an asshole isn't going to get you anywhere." James is definitely the one that was necessary to say that to him since the two of them had a temporary team up in Season 2 but James turned on Yul since he didn't want to go as far to poison someone. James is the only person that very could get through to Yul.
I am traumatized by Yul getting grilled on the face and I am mad at the characters (not super mad) for laughing it off as if it isn't a serious injury. I can just never joke around with serious burns, maybe I'm the problem 😭
@@JamesDheartsUndertale Im not saying they are bad, but way 2 of them found totem is stupid and undatysfying. Also I hate that they still wanna make it unpredicitble over being satysfying
I think I've explained this 2 reviews ago or so: Miriam decided to spend a great chunk of her million on Jake after the end of season 1, she even helped him move out of his parents' house, so it's not like he has financial problems. Letting Jake win here would be almost as unsatisfying as letting Aiden win, they're both too close to the past winners imo. I still wouldn't hate a Jale win, but it wouldn't be too satisfying
Though I think that burn is deserved, Yul was real sympathetic in a socially-useless, I-can’t-help-myself sort of way. It’s interesting they bought prior finalists 2 this finale. Very S2 heavy. Makes me think Ally is the only winner with financial reason 2 win … but she’s also the least interesting in canon. Perhaps the storyline is making a non-favourite a winner.
I'm still bummed we never got to see Tess working her therapist magic on Grett. Besides Yul and Riya, we don't really see Grett interact with many season 2 campers.
That's true, although given how much they have in common, I'd say Grett, Riya and Ally should have booked a session with Therapist Tess all together lol
Is it ironic the character were supposed to enjoy getting harm is more sympathetic and complex in one ep then the character we’re suppose to sympathize for in the whole season
My next Disventure Camp video is coming out as soon as EP20 is released publicly on RUclips, my next Phineas and Ferb video is coming one week after that
I think the helpers and the final three kind of have and more my opinion that Jake will win all stars a connection. This is my thoughts Riy and yul are from the same villain Alliance, so then winning the money is like giving a get out of jail free card the criminals but what they did to you is what they were supposed to do with Ria but they did yul way better then her Ally and Fiore might be a little harder because what you kind of see that the only thing they have in common is that they were both part of the villains Alliance once before but but what they have in common is that they both betrayed to their alliances Fiore in season 1 betrayed Alec in for season 3 with Ally is her hero of alliance the vote was the villains to get rid of Aiden Jake and James them two buttheads in the beginning and that's how James got eliminated pictures of Jake's paranoia injected grow after after 10 or 11 but to me that James did win in season 2 and that's giving me the foresight of Jake winning what makes them have in common is that they're both winners James from season 2 and Jake from season 3
In my idea with the 3 million dollars is who doesn't need it or who wants it more is that who deserves it who deserves a 3 million dollars me that would be Jake even though he did some questionable things making me feel like he's the one who deserves it more then the other two
Remembers when Fiore got that moment in season 1? Talking about her parents and making an Avatar reference? Well, when i look at Yul i can't stop of think about Zuko, so if he gets his redemption, that could be a very good reference, at least for me
Hunter and Tess > Hunter and a rock >>> Hunter and Ally HOWEVER, had Hunter, Tess and Ally all been together in a relationship... well, that would have been perfection IMO x)
Honestly I stop Hating on tom After tom express his feelings for Jake that really Touches my heart But I'm not gonna lie I don't think Jake is gonna forgive Tom after everything tom put him through.
@anonymusK-u8i Jake deserves to be happy and if Tom makes him happy and he wants to be with Tom then the best thing to do is root for them as a couple.
@anonymusK-u8i I'll piggyback Aices here. See when Tom said "we should take some time to grow as people...", it was actually a mature response. He didn't really want to leave Jake hanging, but rather fix their personal issues before possibly getting back together. Given the turmoil in Season 1, it wouldn't make sense for them to get back together especially when it doesn't feel earned. The problem is he didn't handle it well nor was it clear. It might have been better if they stayed as friends cause that relationship can make people happy and how well they listen to each other - ghosting him and by extension Miriam is in poor taste. And given how their personal and interpersonal have been shat to us on screen, people don't get a feel of the relationship beyond a strong infatuation for each other. Not much respect, compatibility, or even bliss, it's all borderline "toxic". Now granted if you walk away with that, I absolutely get that, and yet it feels like a red hand of fate that pulls them back every time. So while I appreciate that explanation, I wish for more backgrounds between them, give me reason to care about them as individuals. Hopefully the spin off will do them justice.

Also "best episode", yeah Episode 11, Episode 13, and especially Episode 6 are right there. And when the finale comes through, it might be up there.
There just saying that because they got to see their favs again
Burning, yul was too much they kept making yul the comic relief character. idk why, but i always felt bad seeing him get hurt hes ny fav and grett went too far. i still like her, tho 😊
Couldn't agree more!
Although the scene with the girls at dinner, giving a little bit too much schoolgirl vibes if you know 😅
Speaking of relationship melodrama, we have Hunter, Ally, and Tess.
Hell yes.
Why do I feel like Kristal was lying about the 100k? Their helpers are their enemies, not sure if any of them will get the money.
Wdym
Of course you'd like All-Stars James better because here's his secret: Character Development
They made bad twist by being "unpredictible" even in episode without elimination... they are better at this then i thought
Wdym? The helpers are peak
wth u talking about the helpers are pretty good.
@@JamesDheartsUndertale
Im not saying they are bad, but way 2 of them found totem is stupid and undatysfying. Also I hate that they still wanna make it unpredicitble over being satysfying
@@EK_Hunter I hope you mean yul and James.
Fiore solved her riddle.
@@EK_Hunter it was pretty satisfying Imo. but i think i like respect your opinion i don't think their goal was to make it unpredictable anyway..
Wait what makes Jake not need the money? Yes James is already a millionaire but you said Jake doesn’t really need the money
@@JegcopoTrue but it’s better than either Riya or Ally winning imo
Though I think that burn is deserved, Yul was real sympathetic in a socially-useless, I-can’t-help-myself sort of way. It’s interesting they bought prior finalists 2 this finale. Very S2 heavy. Makes me think Ally is the only winner with financial reason 2 win … but she’s also the least interesting in canon. Perhaps the storyline is making a non-favourite a winner.
yul had it coming
Uh no at most he deserved a slap but burns is way to far
real
I'm still bummed we never got to see Tess working her therapist magic on Grett. Besides Yul and Riya, we don't really see Grett interact with many season 2 campers.
That's true, although given how much they have in common, I'd say Grett, Riya and Ally should have booked a session with Therapist Tess all together lol
Is it ironic the character were supposed to enjoy getting harm is more sympathetic and complex in one ep then the character we’re suppose to sympathize for in the whole season
When is your next video uploading tell me please
My next Disventure Camp video is coming out as soon as EP20 is released publicly on RUclips, my next Phineas and Ferb video is coming one week after that
I think the helpers and the final three kind of have and more my opinion that Jake will win all stars a connection. This is my thoughts
Riy and yul are from the same villain Alliance, so then winning the money is like giving a get out of jail free card the criminals but what they did to you is what they were supposed to do with Ria but they did yul way better then her
Ally and Fiore might be a little harder because what you kind of see that the only thing they have in common is that they were both part of the villains Alliance once before but but what they have in common is that they both betrayed to their alliances Fiore in season 1 betrayed Alec in for season 3 with Ally is her hero of alliance the vote was the villains to get rid of Aiden
Jake and James them two buttheads in the beginning and that's how James got eliminated pictures of Jake's paranoia injected grow after after 10 or 11 but to me that James did win in season 2 and that's giving me the foresight of Jake winning what makes them have in common is that they're both winners James from season 2 and Jake from season 3
In my idea with the 3 million dollars is who doesn't need it or who wants it more is that who deserves it who deserves a 3 million dollars me that would be Jake even though he did some questionable things making me feel like he's the one who deserves it more then the other two
Anyone else ship Gabbett over Gabbellie
Remembers when Fiore got that moment in season 1? Talking about her parents and making an Avatar reference?
Well, when i look at Yul i can't stop of think about Zuko, so if he gets his redemption, that could be a very good reference, at least for me
Sorry, but I'm drawing the line after you said Tess and Hunter should be a couple instead 💀
Hunter and Tess > Hunter and a rock >>> Hunter and Ally
HOWEVER, had Hunter, Tess and Ally all been together in a relationship... well, that would have been perfection IMO x)
@anonymusK-u8i I'll piggyback Aices here.
Considering they’re gonna have their own spin off series after Allstars, they’re gonna get together or something
