[Appreciate a Gundam-thumbs-up for encouragement to continue this series of vids.]
Still a handsome noggin as a result, despite some unexpected minor but not insurmountable caveats in its construction (and a very dicky old LED unit).

Bought this kit a few weeks ago, just ordered the led. Super stoked
Definitely helpful when I am about to start my kit. Helps me plan accordingly such as painting the eyes and vulcans. Thank you for making awesome vids :)
I'm with you on that too. I mean, we pay nearly 90-100$ for that, and at least have separate parts for the vulcan, and a clear piece or even a sticker for the rear camera. Yes, we can always paint them, and it's an option, but for people like me, or others we don't want to. Too much time, work, etc.
I honestly think the psychoframe makes it a better kit because it's just a neat little detail they added in that doesn't detract from the overall kit. It's not a retcon if it's optional. People saying they won't buy the kit because of it... How does it matter if you don't even have to display it? I prefer it without, but it's still a neat detail.
I'm glad they're moving away from the ABS. While it was great for snappers, for those of us who paint it was a nightmare. You never knew if or when your paint thinner was going to cause it to crumble. Poor, poor sinanju was one of the most infamous for this. Hopefully the Stein will be all styrene.

The head for me is the most important part. In MG's sometimes they're done a bit odd, when it comes to the inner frame of the head. For this version of the Nu Gundam the over all head is a 9/10. A 10/10 would of had the clear piece pipe through to the back head camera, and a slighty better inner frame. I wish we would of gotten one of those creepy gundam skulls, with the red mouth piece intact, and the vulcans could of been molded in grey, why Bandai ? I'll make an exception because of the LED.
to stop the flickering you have to fix the battery switch contact, just use a paperclip or something similar to bend out the metal contact connected to the switch so that it contacts the battery fully when switched in the on position.
just bought this kit and cant wait to build it! XD
It shouldn't affect the stability of the kit or detract from anything (well, except maybe boost the price). It's simply an option.

Hmm. Interesting construction process for the head. I though doubt I would mind the same grief of the vulcans.. Building 00 Raiser right now as I wait for the Nu Gundam ver ka.

Would you mind filming the use of all types of stickers? Maybe during the leg assembly. I'm more interested in the two-toning stickers (ie. on the feet) than the Psychoframe's.

there should be a clear eye piece on the runner with the clear base parts.
I'd go for the torso I guess, I want to see the cockpit since I heard it was the same style as the sinanju and the unicorn

I wonder, 2old do you think if you cut that grey piece in the back of the head out, would the led reach out the rear? doesnt seem to hold anything thats for the structure.
Do you think grey gundam marker would do the trick for the vulcans and around the eyes?

If the LED battery died and I want to change It that mean I have to pull apart the body? And If I want to turn off the LED and turn on It again what can I do?

Bandai making the kits more harder to accurate the anime appearance or the real appearance of the kit that we will build .

I have to ask...do the fingers move on this kit? I couldn't really tell from the 2 seconds of screen time the hand piece got!

What type of cutter are you using? It sounds like it cuts through the plastic with ease :)

for being such an awesome and anticipated kit, bandai sure has made some questionable decisions (and not just with this kit). Overall though, I think this is an awesome kit. Hate the retcon of the whole thing having psycho frame though; if they had left that useless and unnecessary gimmick out, this could by far have been the best MG yet.

iam never buying the ver ka series again since i suck with water slide decals. i broke like 4 sticker pieces for the funnels and they dont sell replacements :((
