I’m doing a sazabi ver ka, but it’s the same hands. I stared at them for 20 minutes going “does it really do what I think it’s gonna?” Thanks for clearing that up.
though i love how much articulation you can get with these hands, but I hate how flimsy and non-budging they can get sometimes, cause their fingers to fall off at times while breaking them in, since the plastic is quite soft.
It's the same damn way for my mgex strikefreedom it's fingers keep litteraly flying out of its sockets. They won't stay put, so I'm hoping this doesn't do the same when I get it
Some people will disagree with me, but one of things I look mostly to in a MG is the articulated hands. Recently it has been a huge letdown that Bandai went in favor with swappable fingers found in most MG nowadays. When Nu Gundam Ver.Ka had PG hand, I was really excited and I hope they continue use these type of hands in future.
some heads up be sure to be careful putting the fingers on place since I messed up one of the fingers of mine I was careful with it but for some reason my right hand ring finger is really loose and not working well but everything is fine... probably just mine, great gundam model I recommend it, it's just so fun building it and the details are just beyond what I expected
I've always wanted MG hands like that^^ I'm glad that Bandai finally delivered something like this! I especially like the swiveling peg for the weapons. By the way, the weapons have a peg as well! So the hands and the weapons are essentially being plugged into each other (weapon peg into the hole in the hand, hand peg into the hole in the weapon) which should make for some super strong connections!
it looks like the hand covers restrict most of the side to side movement of the fingers, if the top of the back cover was slightly lower they could still spread out much further allowing for even more expressive poses
I feel like they didn't differentiate the fingers enough. They're all the same length, makes the hand look like a big slab when the fingers are held straight. Looks pretty good when the fingers are posed, at least.
Love the way the heads look. I'm surprised that they are still a little smaller than the 2.0 RX-78-2. *Reads description* Yes, I'd love if you did the light-up gimmick with the head and neck next :) Thanks for doing these videos
Makes me wonder if they will sell that sprue with the hands loose eventually. Think it would sell like hotcakes. How many kits do you have that you'd buy such hands for sepperate?
I am new in these amazing world of modelits and I very interested to now how they work the mg hands and you resolve that question! great work to showing this! I enjoy your video's! keep in that way! Greetings from Guatemala!
I wonder, if they are compatible with MG 2.0 RX-78-2, considering, that they are slightly smaller, than his initial hands. I would buy them for my Gundams, that's for sure =)
:( i think for my manipulators, the index and pinky ball joint junction to the hand is loose. should i apply a small bit of epoxy to dry onto the ball to tighten it up?
The sprew reads mp1.... Do you know what this means?! This may be the death of swappable fingers. If they mass produce these hands, I will be filled with endless joy.
I can't for the life of me get the index finger and the pinky finger to properly bend into a closed fist. They always just pop out about halfway. Anybody know why?
AdventDeath Fear not! I solved the problem! The joints that connect to the hand weren't bending like the other fingers. All I did was pop the finger out of the joint and force the joints to flex. Then they worked like the other two! Hope that helps.
Lolz animation has nothing to do wit what kits bandai decides to make. i mean katoke pretty much does a ver ka of whatever kit he wants, i mean we got a freaking crossbone ver ka.

Anyone know where I can get a good replacement for these hands? I’m building Sinanju Stein and like 3 fingers popped out lol please help 😅😅

I just saw that the Sinanju Stein will have these hands as well, that is awesome! As long as Bandai at least uses them for the MG UC line I am happy!
I enjoyed the enthusiasm in his voice when he discovered the thumbs swivel point... Lolz
2Old4Toys, you have cleared up my confusion about this hand construction thank you so much my friend. :)
I appreciate your video's they give me a heads up. Before i start my Nu Gundam up.
im so glad to see you doing this i have avoided reviews and what nots but im watching yours.
Oooo agree, do the head please!
I'm so jealous, this kit looks amazing!

Been waiting for this since your unboxing video. I really can't wait to get my hands on this guy!

I enjoy these types of vids as I feel the same excitement of discovery due to the "live commentating style" Thumbs up for more of these!
that was cool, i was building the 00 qant mg and im stuck at assembling the fingers

Any tips on how to properly prep these without breaking a joint? I’ve never owned one that I haven’t broken
WoW Bandai is upping up their game.

Also, if they were able to mold something this awesome in 1/100 scale I am very curious to see what they are gonna come up with for the next PG! :O
the thing that made me wanna buy this a few mouths ago was the hands
I wish Bandai would use theses type of hands on all MG

The only thing that I hate about that kind of hand is when you accidentally remove the finger
I wonder, if they are compatible with MG 2.0 RX-78-2, considering, that they are slightly smaller, than his initial hands. I would buy them for my Gundams, that's for sure =)
nice one sir... Glad to see the nu ver-ka review done by you. I'll be following this series for sure....
I think this might be Bandai making up for those MG Wing hands :')
My brothers managed to pop one of the finger joints out and now I can’t put it back together ffs
no more fukin fixed hands, great job bandai

HOW THE HELL DID THEY MAKE THESE!? it must be magic
gorgeous
Those side cutters look great! Where did you get them?
Nu Ver Ka could be a hand model :D
What are the fingers on those types of hands for my master grade RX 78-2 Gundam version 3 fucking broke
well MG Sinanju Stein will be having that pair of hands
If you get two of these kits you have some thumb wars between them!
they looked cool and all but my new is already missing half of its fingers >.> the little joints just fall apart
I can't for the life of me get the index finger and the pinky finger to properly bend into a closed fist. They always just pop out about halfway. Anybody know why?
Lothacin I"ve got the same problem. I'm considering buying a different set of hands for my nu.

Do you know if they will be sold separately to attach to other master grades???
Does anyone think they'll ever implement a finger launcher system with workable dummy balloons and comm link ?
First time I touched those mg hands, I was lucky not to screw anything up.
my sazabi just become an assassin
nu gundam hands is new gundam hands
Even if they did these hands would be too big for most Mobile Suits. They'd have to scale them down some first.
well i got same one but i just destory it by accident :( is that anywhere to buy hand ? just hand part*
broke a beam saber and part of the shield of the HGUC Destroy mode Unicorn
How the hell do they make these hands ill never know... Some kind of Japanese dark magic.
do u need those tools or can u pull it out?
Here I am, trying to save money and you go and show these two vids for this kit....
Well time to go see who has it in stock now....
Tools, highly recommend you use tools when building Gunpla kits.
how wide is the palm in mm?
do they sell the hands seperatly?
wolkaiser drake idk if its a "bit" late or not but you can just type gundam hands in amazon and it will come up
Bandai needs to make these separately sold for the customizers out there
Or for people like me who broke them the first time they came across them ;-;
It looks vaguely like a spider.
Lolz animation has nothing to do wit what kits bandai decides to make. i mean katoke pretty much does a ver ka of whatever kit he wants, i mean we got a freaking crossbone ver ka.
01:30 what tool is that
Mine kept falling apart
I hate these types of hands
cannot stand these hands. they just fal lto pieces. I need a replacement left hand for my mg Rx78-2
same i just finished building mine RX-78-2 V3, the fingers keep falling off....
well i guess making this isnt that amazing i mean the joints on the real grades are bigger and ore complicated
EXQUISITE
